She’s a Jewel…but that has its challenges.
The witches of the Jewel line often have problems with their magic, and Tarana is no different. Her magic only comes out when she’s highly emotional, and then it has a mind of its own. Her cousins have come into theirs when they found their special men, but either her ex wasn’t special enough, or she just won’t ever be a full witch.
With a new trophy … witch.
With a new trophy girlfriend in her ex’s bed and a new job managing an apartment building whose tenants are all supernaturals, thanks to Zelda the Shifter Whisperer, Tarana is ready to start again. No more men. It isn’t worth it even if it did trigger her marriage.
Giff is a demon on a mission. His escort service brings a whole new meaning to “service,” since his employees are either sex demons or trained by them. He is living in the penthouse of a building he designed a century ago on his last visit to Earth, and it’s killing him to see the effects of a hundred years of neglect. Getting stuck in an elevator with a witch is the last straw. Or maybe the first moment of a new beginning.
Sparks fly and attraction charges the air, but Tarana’s not looking for a relationship anytime soon…or ever. Maybe it can just be physical? Or maybe she’s the mate he’s been told to wait patiently for.

Our heroine has problems with both her magic and her love life and tries to avoid both. Of course, that never turns out well.
This is a paranormal romaince with witches and a nice bit of humor. The story is well written, easy to read and just plain fun. The setting is rather unique and the characters are something different as well, with nice depth to them and definitely a bit of quirky. The story caught my attention early on and easily drew me along, making it a quick and enjoyable read. I definitely am looking forward to more from this author.
Highly recommended

Tarana, a witch with little access to her powers hires on as a super in a dilapidated apartment house, with mostly supernaturals as tenants.
On her way to the first meeting with said tenants to introduce herself she gets stuck in the elevator with Giff, an incubus.
Giff, who had been waiting for a long time to meet his mate, is immediately smitten by her.
A funny short, nothing special as such, but entertaining throughout.

When a sexy witch takes a hit to her relationship status and her ego, a good girlfriend helps her secure a job she is enthusiastic about, but under qualified to hold.
Underneath some horrible, ugly remodeling is an architectural gem.
If she can survive the process, she just might discover more than an amazing structure hidden underneath, or a creative new career path and home.
Life and love may just have some wildly unexpected surprises in store !
Steamy, sweet and great fun!

Tarana Jewel is ready to begin her new job managing an apartment building whose tenants are all supernaturals, and she has decided that she doesn’t need a man in her life. They are too much trouble, especially after the last one. The witches of her family line often have problems with their magic showing itself. For the others, they usually see it once they find their man. But Tarana’s magic only shows up when she’s highly emotional and it’s not easy for her to control it then. Her apartment was located in a basement in the high-rise, but was currently under two-feet of water. Now she was late for the meet-and-greet with the tenants to introduce herself, and of course the elevator was taking it’s time getting to her, stopping at each floor before moving down toward her again. It must be people coming to the meeting! But when the doors opened, only one person was there. She figured the others who pressed the button had given up waiting and were on the stairway. She hurried onto the elevator and pushed the button as someone groaned!
Giff Vincent is an incubus demon who runs an escort service. He lives in the penthouse of a building he designed a century ago on his last visit to Earth, and hates to see the effects of a hundred years of neglect while he was gone. When he gets stuck in an elevator with a witch wearing carpenter’s overalls, he is oddly attracted to her. He is used to being surrounded by stunning women in gorgeous clothing and make-up. This one wears no make-up at all! But her aura was having a profound effect on him! When he commented on her looking for escape from the elevator through the hatch at the top rather than just conjuring up a spell, and then smirking at her, it roused her emotions to where her magic shot out like lightning into his chest and knocked him across the room. Suddenly the elevator dropped, and she flung herself onto him so she wouldn’t die alone! His laughter brought her attention back – he was a demon and used her excess magic to make the elevator fall and stop, effectively making her act like a “girl” and clinging to the strong “man” to save her. He was quite amused. By then, of course, she had nothing left to retaliate and zap him again. And with perfect timing, the doors flew open as a crowd of shifters, munching on the food she arranged for the meeting, stared in at her and Giff announced with a smile, “I think this is your floor.”
I hope by now you can see the tone of this wonderful story that will keep you chuckling all the way through. The conversation between the two of them was really fun. Is Tarana ready to kill the incubus? Or is this the start of a perfect HEA?
Paranormal, great characters, and humor, especially as displayed in fun and snarky banter – it just doesn’t get any better than this!
This is a sweet, and funny story that is a quick read but so beautifully written. It draws you in and has you laughing throughout it. I loved Tarana and her rambling thoughts at times. Giff is full of swagger and charm. He and Tarana have fantastic chemistry that is felt the minute they meet. It is well written and the support characters add just the right element to the story. This is one of those stories you wish were longer so you could see more about them. But, it still a fantastic quick read that doesn’t disappoint.

Tara a is a witch down on her luck and starting a new job. Giff is an Incubus living life to the fullest while awaiting his mate. They meet a little unconventionally and try to resist the pull to one another. The snarky banter and lusty moments lead to them ultimately caving to their passion. Who knew demons could be so sweet?

The story line and character work were great. The book had a good flow to it. This was a quick, fun read and a great addition to the Magic and Mayhem Universe.

I really liked the book and the characters were great. But it ended kind of fast and unexpectedly. That was a surprise. Except for that I really enjoyed reading it.

Witch Way Up is a stand alone romance set within the Witch Way series, which is all part of the Magic and Mayhem universe. Tarana has just started a new job as an apartment building manager, but is in over her head, especially when she runs into elevator problems with an incubus. But could she possibly be in the right place with the right male?
I enjoyed reading this fast paced book! Giff and Tarana were fun and passionate, with some flirty banter, and a drive for success. I liked that Tarana might not have all of her magic under control, but she was willing to work hard and prove herself. Giff has all the swagger of an incubus, but I liked that he wanted to take care of things around him, like his building and Tarana! They made a great team, and they definitely had a steamy relationship! I enjoyed their connection, though, that they quickly developed outside of the “bedroom” too. While this was a fast paced book, it was easy to escape into and be surrounded by these two characters! I liked reading it and look forward to more from this author and from this universe!

She meets on of them when there is a problem with the elevator.
Since her own apartment has a major issues, she is put up in one of the two penthouse suites. She is unwinding from the days events when she sees her neighbors pool. She goes looks at it and decides to take a swim, but she doesn’t think she will be caught. Will Tarana be able to get past what her ex did to her or will she lose everything
I really enjoyed reading this story so much. It was over before I realized it. It will keep you reading. The is the perfect diversion for awhile.

I love reading about witches and other beings. A witch and an incumbi, that was an interesting twist. She leaves her ex, who was a human who had taken up with a female incumbi. How ironic. They were a laugh a minute and so much fun to read about.
Living the highlife
I always enjoy these little books by this author. This one is a fast read with just the right amount of humor and a love that only patience can bring. I really enjoyed the characters and how quickly they connected and the story had more depth than you would expect from such a short book. I am looking forward to reading more stories by this author.
