Finding a body washed ashore in Whitefall Cove was not how I wanted to start my day.I much preferred to face the morning with a hot strong caffeinated beverage, but alas, we can’t always have what we want. Out on a morning stroll with my familiar, Archie, I couldn’t believe my bad luck when we stumbled upon the body of local teenager Emily Sherman washed up on the beach.Unable to resist the lure … beach.
Unable to resist the lure of solving the mystery, I immediately set about finding her killer, but untangling a growing list of suspects isn’t as easy as I’d initially thought. With an election looming and Councilor Griffin’s nephew caught up in the net, the pressure is on to find out whodunnit and close the case.
Let’s not mention working side by side with newly single detective Jackson Ward. Murder, mischief, and mayhem I can take in my stride, but a date with Jackson? That’s enough to have my magic sparking in nervous anticipation.
This paranormal murder mystery will have you completely spellbound and laughing out loud!

The book is fun, especially the description of Gran. The plot moves quickly and the guilty party is not obvious. The easy romantic aspect adds a touch of charm that is nice. Enjoyed this. Story and am looking forward to reading more of Ms Hinchly’s books.
A spectacular continuation of the Witch Way series!!! There is nothing that this book doesn’t have. Murder, mystery, love, lust, suspense and epic character development. There’s also an incredible twist at the end, that I never saw coming. This is definitely my favorite book in the series so far!! I can’t wait to see what comes next!!
I received an advanced copy of this book. This is the 4th book in the Witch Way Paranormal Cozy Mystery Series. In this one, Gran has a group of teen witches performing in the local talent show. However, when Harper discovers the body of one of the teen’s bodies on the beach, things go a bit wonky. Harper and her friend Jenna can’t leave things to the police, either. Harper also has an answer in her love life. This is a great book and another great addition to the series!
As usual a fantastic read .you never know for definite who is the killer until near to the end with a brilliant twist .
I really enjoyed this book. Murder, magic, and teenage drama. I actually enjoyed this book more than “Witch Way Down Under.” It was fast-paced and it enjoyable read. Great job!
The hysterics of this group is at new levels. This is the fourth book in the series, and they just keep getting better. Harper returns home and has to face a single Jackson. But first, she has to solve another murder. There is a lot of action and a board full of suspects. I have to say, I was almost to the end before I figured out who the killer was. I’m usually better than that. So props to Ms. Hinchey for keeping me guessing. In my defense, they all had a motive. Gran will have you in stitches. Ahh, the romance we have all been waiting for. But you will get no spoilers from me. A great mystery with a paranormal twist. The characters are fun and the writing smooth. I was lucky enough to receive an advanced copy and this my voluntary review.
I really like this storyline. The characters are well developed and some are a little eccentric. The conversations feel natural and the plot moves at a good pace with a lot of twists. I look forward to more adventures with Harper.
I have read 2 books in this series and I like the writing style of this author. The cast of this book evolve and grow like real people and the story moves nicely. I did guess wrongly about who did it so it had a nice twist. I would recommend this series of books
Another Hit From Jane Hinchey!! As part of her ARC, I got a pre-read of the book and love it!! The characters just get better and better! I have loved how Me. Hinckley is able to take her characters from book to book and allow them to explore their feelings and lives. As always, I enjoyed the adventures of grandma as she is one of the most delightful characters.
A great book. Loved the characters and the plot was intriguing. I read it in one sitting because I could not wait to see who the killer was; and it was not who I had thought it would be. Great twists and turns and very enjoyable. Highly recommend this book.
