Tick Tock. Time is running out.My parents are missing in outback Australia. Only they’ve left me clues. Clues that tell me they were close to a significant discovery—the location of a copper scroll that leads to untold treasures. A scroll that treasure hunters would kill for.Now I’m in a race against time. Together with my Gran, best friend Jenna, my familiar Archie, and bad boy lawyer Blake … Archie, and bad boy lawyer Blake Tennant, we head to an outback town called Arrowstrand, where the locals are hiding their own secrets, and I must rely on my magic and blind faith to venture into the unknown.
The stakes have never been higher; can I reach my parents before it’s too late or will they be lost forever?
This paranormal murder mystery will have you completely spellbound and laughing out loud!

This series with Harper Jones is so much fun! This one was my favourite – helped because it was set in South Australia – where I live, but also as the characters were fun and the storyline has an interesting mystery to solve. Harper’s parents are missing, last seen in the Flinders Ranges, Australia, so Harper and her gang fly out to track them down. I was kept guessing right until the end. We meet some awesome new characters – both paranormal and human and it’s fun to see all the interactions. Even Archie meets a friend!
I love how these books don’t end on cliff hangers, but make me desperate for more. I want to know what will happen next for Harper!
Couldn’t put it down! Can’t wait for Archie to start talking to the gang, and what’s up with the mysterious fae be investigator?
But anyway With way sure is fun!
A fun read that I couldn’t put down.
The characters are absolutely lovable, but oh my gosh.. The Grandmother had me laughing out loud, trying to muffle the laughing so I wouldn’t wake my sleeping husband hahahahahahahahaha.
Humour, suspense, and intrigue with some spell casting going on.
I really enjoyed this book, and look forward to the next in the series!
I love this series!
I love Witch Way Down Under. This book is engaging and exciting. I could not put the book down. This is an action packed adventure. I love the characters and how they grew in this story. I really enjoyed the setting in Australia. The book is well written and detailed. The mystery has many twists that keep you guessing until the end. This is a really fun and interesting book. I highly recommend it!
I found this book to be one big great adventure. It was so much fun going along for the ride.
Harper, Gran, Gran’s lawyer, Jenna, and Archie are headed to Australia to look for Harper’s missing parents. What ensues is hilarity!
Mum and Dad have some interesting connections. Harper remembers going with them on digs as a child. It’s clear that their present research has mystical links.
What is not immediately clear is why Brent and his law firm are so willing to look for her parents. More info waiting to be gleaned there.
Non witches again seem willing to exploit dark magic in a grab for power without fully grasping the consequences.
In a way Harper finds her way back to some of her family and magical roots. One disappearing beau, and another more single leaves her in a bit of a tizzy.
Whatever fun comes next I’m looking forward to reading!
WHO DID WHAT? AND WHY?
All those good looking men in Australia and Gran is on the loose, she is in a bikini and heading for the waterhole, oh my!!
Meanwhile the parents may be lost (or worse) in the miriad of twisty turny mazes of a mostly unexplored underground cave system.
There are a growing number of suspects, unusual behaviors and a full moon on the way. Thoroughly enjoyable, full of suspenseful mysteries that you are sure to love.
The third book in this series and is my favorite. I really like Harper a lot. In this one she and her gran along with friends go to Australia to find her missing parents and treasure. It still has everything i like about this series- mystery, fun enjoyment and other things that make it interesting!
This was another enjoyable read in the Witch Way series. I laughed a lot and had a ball revisiting Harper and the gang as they head to outback Australia to look for her missing parents. Lots of fast paced action, some treasure hunting, scary black magic and a nice little mystery that had me guessing the whole way through. I can’t wait to dive into book four! I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes paranormal cozy mysteries.
Witch Way Down Under is the third book in the Witch Way Paranormal Cozy Mystery series.
Final Rating: 5 Stars
Book 3 takes us across seas to the Land Down Under… The Australian Outback…. That’s where Harper has to search for her missing parents while solving yet another murder. And did I mention that Gran and Blake are along to help?! The laughs, whit, murder, mayhem, friendships, crushes and magic continue for a Spectacular book 3!! I can’t wait to read book 4!!!
Harper her friends and Gram head to Australia to find her parents who went missing during their search for the copper pyramid. Harper and her Gram are witches and even reaching out with Harpers powers they can find no whiff of them. When they reach the campgrounds Harper finds that their camper has been gone through, they begin to question those people who knew her parents and visit the caves they had worked in but still no sign. When murders occur and signs of black magic appear they know they have a big problem to make it worst a blood moon is coming, join them in this fun search for her parents.
I received this as an ARC in exchange for an honest review
Another fun and intriguing book by Jane Hinchey who once again brings an entertaining story filled with laughter and mystery. It moves quickly and smoothly and had me hooked from start to finish reading. I enjoyed and would recommend this book.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.

I have read a quit a few of Ms Hinchey’s Books now, (this being my foray into a 4th series) but Witch Way Down Under is my 1st Cozy by Jane, but definitely will not be my last!
Harper, Jenna, Gran & The Rest Of The Crazy Gang Are A Blast, Not Too Mention Cracking Me Up Laughing & Leave Me Wanting More!
The thing I loved the most about this book is it’s set in my own backyard!
It’s rare 4 a book set here in Oz & even rarer for it to be set in the little known State of South Australia!
It’s such a refreshing change to hear Aussie slang & colloquialisms, so Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Neighbour (Jane)! Most books are set in the US or Europe.
Once again Jane Hinchey has delivered! Which Way Down Under, was an enjoyable read, with great laugh out loud moments with an action packed solid storyline, that keeps you wanting more & has Jane’s snarky, sassy wicked sense of humour to boot!!!
Harper & Gang are a new characters to me, even though I’m starting @ book 3, but in typical Hinchey fashion, I find them to be well written, likeable & refreshing.
Jane’s writing style is unique & unlike the average Cosy Mystery Writer’s Books It wasn’t obvious “Who Done It” or in this case “Who The Villain is”, until right at the end of Witch Way Down Under!
Now That’s A Great Cosy Read that keeps you on your toes & guessing right till the end!

Harper’s parents are missing in Australia and together with her cat Archie, gran, her best friend, and lawyer Blake; she is off to find them. Gran steals the show as she is zany and completely off the wall. The storyline flows nicely and I am looking forward to see what happens between Harper and Blake. Oh, and did I forget to mention magic is involved….this is a cute story and I look forward to reading more.
really liking this series with alot of action and snarkyness. who is harper going to get? mystery with quirky characters and alot of humor. love gran. i am voluntarily reviewing an arc gifted by the author with no obligation
This is the first book I’ve read in this series, but it won’t be the last. It read fine as a stand-alone. It is skillfully written and fast paced. It was an enjoyable read and I’m looking forward to future installments. I received this book free and chose to make a voluntary, unbiased review.
Who are Blake, Jenna, Harper, and Remy? Where are they at and what are they doing there? What was the call from Harper to her parents about? What happened after that phone call? This book was full of adventure! The paranormal, suspenseful, mystery of a story is definitely worth the read and now I want to read more in the series! There is definitely a bit of everything for those who like paranormal and mystery in one.

A great witchy read with plenty of twists and turns and a lot of laughs. And having visited Australia many times, I loved the familiarity of the setting. If you’re a fan of paranormal cozy mysteries with characters who jump off the page, you can’t go wrong with this series.
