Near Salem, Massachusetts, 1692Notley Village was small, peaceful and quiet. At least, it appeared to be. But hiding beneath the façade was an evil that would have shocked a nation… and turned the hair of the goodly Reverends of New England pure white. With the pressure of the the trials in nearby Salem, Jackson Allworthy begins to feel concerned that he will be amongst those suspected of … those suspected of witchcraft. He’s been a notable member of the BDSM coven for years and the stress of his double life is taking its toll.
He’s both relieved and horrified when he’s asked to serve on the panel of ministers investigating the claims of witchcraft.
He takes his place, and is immediately struck by the poise and beauty of one of the women brought before them. She refuses to recant and continues to claim her innocence, despite being beaten and tortured.
Jackson can’t help noticing she seems to rather enjoy the pain from the beatings and it only makes him want her more. But can he find a way to make sure she isn’t found guilty and will she accept the haven of marriage to him that he so longs to offer her?

Witch Trials and Errors by Alexandra Noir is such an awesome story that I have read. This is book number four in this awesome series that I have loved reading and can not wait to see what comes next. Set during the times of the Salem Witch trials, our hero harbors a secret which might put him at risk, so he is relieved to be called in as a judge. And then he finds the women of his dreams as one of the accused. Now what?
This is book four of the series but it works just fine as a standalone. The books all share the setting, but are otherwise independent stories.
This series continues to skillfully blend history and BDSM in a fascinating and enjoyable manner. The story is well written, easy to read and very steamy with this unusual backdrop. The characters are well developed and fit well into the historical context, with all the prejudices of the era. I found the story to be very entertaining and look forward to more in this series.
HIghly recommended.

Wow. Could not out it down. Too hot to handle. Loved it
Short but hot story
Jenny has been branded as a witch & is awaiting her trial but when she sees a new face on the one of the servers of her trial she cannot help feel something is different about him. Jackson does not want to serve on these trials but even more so when he sees Jenny who he does not believe her to be a witch. & he gets the other members to agree to let him try to get a confession out of her only using his own method did not have the effect he was expecting. Through using BDSM Jackson has brought out a side to Jenny she did know she had & this story had me hoping she would be found innocent but there is also a twist that has you wanting to read the next book already.

Alexandra Noir has taken what was a sinister time in history and given it, to me, a tantalizing twist to several peoples lives. This particular book takes place in Salem during the trials and Reverend Jackson Allworthy has been asked to come and sit on the panel to decide the fate of an accused witch. If that were bad enough, once he sees her and knows in his heart she is innocent, he has to find a way to save her, but at what cost? Even though this is a short read, it’s packed with so much emotion and we’re given a small taste of the BDSM Reverend Allworthy is known for in the Notley Village coven. Not only do we get to see a small part of Jackson and Jenny’s life, but the last part of the book gives an unexpected glimpse into someone else’s discovery. I’m just absolutely enthralled by this series and can’t wait for the next book to come out.
This is another great story by Alexandra noir. It has a lot of drama, intrigue, and lots of descriptive scenes. I highly recommend this book

Not a witch but enjoying the torture?
Jackson Allworthy is a minister in the small New England town of Notley Village. A man with a secret, more than one actually. Little does he know, when he reluctantly agrees to assist in the witch trials in nearby Salem, he will meet the woman he has been looking for all his life and she will meet the man she did not know she was looking for.
This is another well-written installment in the BDSM and Magic in the Colonies series by Alexandra Noir. If you’ve read the previous installments, you’ll be right at home with this one. It’s not necessary but each one does provide a set up for the next. I’m looking forward to the next one.
