The Witch Queens:Dark new series that reimagines the Oz saga… EAST: The four daughters of the King were each given land to prove themselves worthy of being selected as the heir to the entire kingdom. When munchkins start turning up dead, Indy- Queen of the East, knows that she has to do something drastic. Swallowing her pride, Indy approaches the only man for the job. He is one badass, sexed … one badass, sexed up, tattooed, six-ft-four piece of man meat that they call Scarecrow.
NORTH: Sent to rule over the Lion-shifters, Mombi- Queen of the North, knows that she will never truly be accepted as one of their own. What is worse, Jake- the Lion King, is missing, and rumor is that he left because of her. The pride is now under Dorothy’s control.

But true love doesn’t seem to follow the yellow brick road. Will these two ever have a chance when her sisters hate everything about him?
WEST: Elphaba- Queen of the West, has had just enough of Steele’s lies and games. The immortal broke her heart once, and it won’t happen again. His name might be Steele, but he’s nothing but a heartless Tin Man. And she is one queen that won’t be melting at his feet.
The new girl, Dorothy, must die. Don’t be fooled by her pigtails and sparkly stolen shoes. She’s a killer, who has been wreaking havoc in the land of Oz. The four Witch Queens must come together to defeat Dorothy once and for all and discover where each of their destinies lies.

Hands down one of my absolute favorite books!
The book is filled with great characters and fun! Steamy parts too!
I love how each character has something fun and loving about them- even Dorothy!
You will never read another OZ book and feel the same! This is a total original!
“Home is knowing. Knowing your mind, your heart, knowing your courage. If we know ourselves, we are always home, anywhere.”
I would give this ten stars if I could
Is it perfect? nope, Realistic? nope, Are all the scenes flawless? nope
Then Why do you ask?
Because it engaged my every emotion – it had me out loud, falling in (I want my own Scarecrow!!), emoting little , and let’s not forget
I am so glad I came across this – I do not want to give away spoilers!
This is the story of what really happened to Dorothy on her visit to the Merry Old Land of Oz – though this time we get the tale from the citizens of Oz – we get the truth of what happened
I had so much fun with this –
If you are looking for an adult romance that has a little angst, a touch of suspense a twang of action and a whole lot of steam – just click your heels (or fingers if you are not a flying monkey)
Just a little teaser till you land
“Mombi’s eyes glittered with amusement, “The b@t ch actually tried to drop a house on you, stole your best Jimmie Choo’s, and is now picking off the Munchkins?” When she put it like that, it sounded pretty bad”
This is broken down into parts – each ‘part” concentrates on a particular area of Oz and the witch who rules that area – all of them are connected though so the “parts” intertwine (I swear it is not as complicated as I make it sound) – the final “part” is the conclusion and brings all the characters together
I was given this ARC for an honest review and I’m thrilled to be a part of the team.
This is definitely not the Wizard of Oz your momma read to you when you were small! S. Cinders has taken the tale and rewove it into an adult fairy tale with characters and side characters interacting within the drama, suspense, comedy, love and sex with such flawless ease. Truly, if you enjoy adult fairy tales you will not want to put this treasure down once you start. I know I didn’t.
Seriously amazing book from page one to the end. I couldn’t get enough !!!!
I was on the edge of my seat reading this entire book and was sad that it ended! S Cinders has a way to transform and take you to the land of the wicked in her new book – you want to be a part of the action and for brief moments, you are! The scarecrow – WOW – she is definitely a strong force and one that will have you wanting more…

So far, I’ve read the Scarecrow and this is what I think: loved it!
I loved, loved, loved, loved, loved, loved, loved, loved, loved this book! Did I mention that I love this book? Sexy and smart, I couldn’t put it down. The story of Indy growing into her power was outstanding! And scarecrow? I can’t say enough about that wonderful sex maniac! Read it, you’ll laugh and get turned on at the same time. Please, S Cinders, fix the little mistakes (Ping of the Pride) so that your detractors won’t have any ammunition to use against you! Sigh, I love this book!
Love how the story is told. Hot, steamy and full of a sexy Scarecrow, Tinman, Wizard and Lion. Definitely a must read, If you’re into adult fairytales.
If you can credit that in reality Dorothy was a psychopathic murderer imported wholly by accident, you will be ready to enjoy this tale of four magical sisters working together with their true loves to rid Oz of this blight. Only as events unfold and troths are plighted can they comprehend how the land itself assists the ones to whom it belongs by right.
The entire journey to all four corners of the land is spiced with generous humor, insights into human (and inhuman) nature, and mind-blowing, kinky, transformational sex. And the finale is everything that it should be, even with the flying monkeys.
This is four volumes in one; I think Cinders keeps them together only because they vary a bit in length.
Extremely highly recommended.
This book was exciting and fun. A description of Dorothy’s trip to Oz from the witches’ point of view. I loved that all of the elements from the original story are in this book, but totally different. I absolutely loved this rendition of this story and the witch queens. I will never be able to watch that movie again without Elphaba, Mombi and Indy. Glenda was still the good witch she was portrayed as. I think you would really enjoy the suspense and action in this book. I requested an advanced reader copy from Booksprout and am under no obligation to leave this review.
All I can say is wow. This was an amazing book and how dominating the scare crow was. The book starts as a who done it as Indy tries to find out who or what is killing the munchkins as she tries to prove she should be the queen of oz.

This book has everything you want in a book!
You laugh and cry, you shout out when your angry with the characters but most of all you fall in love all over again!
This book is definitely one if my favorites this year!
This book was good. It didn’t wow me. Some of the couples worked and others were okay. I liked the concept of the storyline. It was a good modern tale of Oz.
Indy and Scarecrow
Mombi and Jake
Glinda and Gregory
Elphaba and Steele
There was moments I really enjoyed it and some scenes where I didn’t. Overall it was an alright book. I won’t turn people away from it. Everyone has their own likes and opinions. I’m going to read it again and give it another shot!

This book definitely puts a new twist on The Wizard of Oz. It was never a favorite of mine but this story makes me see it on a whole new light. It was entertaining and addicting. There was also a lot of hot scenes and drama. I really liked how each of the four main characters were focused on individually and how the resolution brought them all together. Definitely an interesting and steamy take on a classic. Cannot wait to read more by this author.
I really enjoyed this one. I loved the way the author has put a whole new spin on an old story. This is about 4 women, sisters, which queens in the land of oz who find themselves on a journey to defeat the evil Dorothy of Kansas and finding true love and their own strengths and powers along the way.
If you like the original Wizard of Oz and also enjoy some romance, plenty of sexual sizzle and a whole new take on what really happened then this is the book for you.
Great story!

The Witches of Oz is a reimagining of The Wizard of Oz from the viewpoint of the four princess witches of Oz. Bastinda, or Indy, and Scarecrow are the main characters but all the sisters are included. S Cinders incorporates the plot points of the original in clever and often humorous ways. This book is very well written and engaging and nearly impossible to put down. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This adult version of “The Wizard of Oz” (with four wonderful related stories) was a pleasure to read and it is about four sisters on a journey to defeat the evil (Dorothy) of Kansas.
You will find: political intrigue, humor, mild BDSM, spanking, suspense, violence, evil, mystery, twists & turns, suspense, intrigue, action, conflict, hot alpha males, attractions, romance, hate, love and steamy scenes.
I found the story-line to be entertaining, well-thought out and written. The characters are unique & quirky with individual personalities. This book kept my attention until the last page was turned and I really would recommend it.
This was my first reading a book of this type and level of steam. It was a great twist on an old classic and completely had me hooked from the first page till the end. The dynamics of the relationships of the main characters was well written and flowed nicely. Scarecrow was a surprise for who he was along with Steele, Jake, and Gregory. Then there was Dorothy who knew she could be so evil. There were plenty of moments that had me laughing. There were even momenta that had me blushing and completely blown away. I mean total heavy on the heat with the relationships that will leave you fifty shades of red. You definitely will not be thinking or even looking at Oz ever again in the same way prior to reading this book. The different perspectives of each witch brought full circle the tale of Oz and made for a tale like no other. I definitely would recommend this read and look forward to reading more from this author.
