Audiobook review: Zara Riddle and gang are back. The mystery solver finds herself in a few interesting and heroine situations. The dialogue is corny and humorous. Her mom plays a big part in this story and her love interest was surprising! Oh, and now I want a witty and mouthy wyvern of my own! The narrator did a nice job! I received a free copy of this audiobook at my request and voluntarily left this review.
Yup, very addictive series! It’s everything about it! It might sound cliché but I think if the book is that good that you wished you where in it, knew those people and you also wished it would turn out in a television series, you know it’s good! And good it is
Wisteria Wyverns (Wisteria Witches #5) was a great read by Angela Pepper. Zara went out for ice cream and saw her mother who was last seen dead. But she’s flesh and blood and not a ghost. Zara is catching up with her mom when a body turns up dead at the Castle they are at. It seems as though a supernatural killer is responsible. I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read more by the author.
A fun, light read.

Now I want a Wyvern as my friend! Zara finds out that her mother has returned from the dead and is enjoying a holiday at Castle Wyvern which is a really upscale destination. While trying to get her head around having her mother undead, a former acquaintance symbiotically joins Zara and is soon found dead. In tromp the law enforcement and what amounts to the Magic Police, an old boyfriend from high school, a look alike to her neighbor, and a Wyvern! Great fun and lots of laughs!
Tiffany Williams is marvelous as the Riddle women and all the other interesting characters.
Zombie Mom
Narrator Tiffany Williams captures exactly the humorous tone of our heroine Zara Riddle, for whom life is a happy place. If you are just starting the series, the book stands alone, but I suspect you will want to go back to discover some of the earlier tales in the series, if only for the giggles! The ever-growing cast of magical creatures now includes a wyvern plus several surprises as Zara and crew (largely Z-named Riddle women) solve the case of the latest murder victim whose ghost has lodged inside Zara’s brain. What an intriguing way to add to your knowledge base–something her librarian side appreciates.
Zara Riddle does it again in another fantastic book in Wisteria. She finds herself with another ghost and helps solve the mystery of the ghost’s death along with a few more things that just don’t add up along the way. I can’t wait to see what comes next.
As with all the previous books in this series, narration was perfect.
WISTERIA WYVERNS is the fifth book in the absolutely marvelous Wisteria Witches series. They must be read in the order of release.
As always, I must warn you that listening to this Wisteria audiobook may – ok will – cause uncontrolled giggling and some very loud laughing. Danger: Snark ahead! And I do love snark.
What could be worse than finding out that your dead mother is a zombie? How about being locking in an old castle with the zombie mom while you investigate the murder of the ghost in your head, try to figure out why there is a Doppelganger of the hunky neighbor, and avoid the detective who is calling mommy-dearest his “blueberry muffin”? Yep, all of that, and it is hilarious!
A great, light, cozy mystery. I’m looking forward to what may come next.
My favorite character in this release has to be Ribbons, especially when voiced by Tiffany Williams. He sounds like a wanna-be Dracula with all of the attitude and the accent.
Narration: Tiffany Williams never fails to delight me. Her presentation is impeccable and a highlight to my day this week has been getting into the car to spend those hours with her.
Note: While I received this book as a gifted audiobook copy, my opinions are my own and are given freely.

I love these witchy books! This is book five in the series. This one has Zara dealing with family surprises, another dead body, another ghost, lots of clues and mysteries, all tied up with humor and wit! These are fun stories that always entertain, I enjoy the characters and fun plot.
The narration can’t be best for this series! Perfect!
Can’t wait for the next book!
I don’t know what it is about this series, there are some seriously predictable actions and outcomes, but I can’t stop reading them. They are just fun and while you won’t run into any red herrings or extreme plot twists, you will enjoy the stories and get to really like the quirky characters. It’s perfect escapism literature so if you want to settle into a story and have an enjoyable cosy mystery type adventure, this might be the perfect series for that.
I have read or am reading every book she has written. I love this author.
I really like this series
I had to keep reading to find out what had happened. I enjoyed this book.
