Zara Riddle is another year older, and busier than ever. She’s a powerful witch, a skilled librarian, and the World’s Best Mom—according to her coffee mug. It’s no wonder the town’s detective keeps seeking her help. If you want something done, ask a busy person!Zara partners again with Detective Bentley to investigate a call about a missing person. The caller, a sweet little old lady named … named Temperance Krinkle, claims to have psychic abilities. Zara and Bentley have to laugh when it turns out the missing “person” is a tiny figurine from a dollhouse. But then a local resident disappears for real, and the so-called psychic with the attic full of creepy dollhouses doesn’t seem so funny anymore.
Now Zara and Bentley, witch librarian and vampire detective, must use their skills to unravel a mystifying crime. That is, when they aren’t using their skills to drive each other crazy.
Getting to the bottom of this case is going to take every resource in Wisteria, from Zara’s coworkers at the library, to the police department, plus City Hall, and the supernatural agents at the Department of Water and Magic. This conspiracy runs deep. Miles deep. When the entity behind all the scheming is revealed, there will be justice. And it won’t be pretty.
WISTERIA WARNED is book 2 of the DAYBREAK mini-series featuring Zara Riddle and Detective Bentley working together, solving local crimes. It is the 9th novel set in the world of the Wisteria Witches Mysteries and, as of publication, the latest on the Wisteria timeline. This book is centered on Zara Riddle’s point of view, with some bonus chapters featuring other favorite characters. Fans will love all the series questions that get answered, not to mention the juicy secrets revealed in this book. Never before has so much trouble been unsealed!

WISTERIA WARNED is the second book in the Wisteria Witches Mysteries – Daybreak trilogy and the ninth in the Wisteria Witches series. Though each story could stand on its own, the series is best enjoyed if you read them all and in the order of release.
Nine books into this series and it hasn’t lost its charm, wit, appeal, or humor. If anything, they are all increasing. I love these characters and wish I could move to this town!
I love the complexities of the stories that keep my mind active and involved. I love all of the supernatural friends and magical shenanigans. I love the on-your-toes action and the maybe-they-will-maybe-they-won’t romance. I love these stories.
In this one, Zara and Detective Bentley are working together. For a change up in the action, there was no ghost mucking up Zara’s habits, but there was plenty of her daughter Zoey and Ribbons the Wyvern to keep me smiling. It was fun and suspenseful – light hearted and serious. It was perfect.
Narration: Tiffany Williams is one of the best audiobook narrators available. Her “theater of the mind” skills are honed to perfection and I often forget that I’m supposed to be terrified of driving while I’m listening to an Angela Pepper story read by Tiffany Williams. That is a blessing on her and for me.
Note: While I received this book as a gifted audiobook copy, my opinions are my own and are given freely.

Another great mystery to be solved with Zara there to help. I love this series and hope it never ends. All the characters are so fun to listen to and see what craziness they can come up with next.
An absolute great and awesome read!!!
I enjoy this series and had the opportunity to listen to this book. Zara is a hoot.
The story picks up days after Zoe, Zara’s daughter, has met her biological father, started a new job, and losing someone.
An old woman creates doll houses with future crime scenes. Zara, Bently & Chessa are trying to solve this and what happened to Corvin, in dog form & his walker.
I am enjoying getting to know the characters. I am always ready to learn about other paranormal creatures such as: sprites, wyverns, djinns, witches, shifters, gorgons, and vampires.
There are a few surprises throughout the story but watch out for the one at the end of this book.
Wisteria Warned (Wisteria Witches #9) was a great read by Angela Pepper. Zara Riddle is a powerful witch, a skilled librarian, and now the town’s detective is seeking her help. Detective Bentley and Zara partner again to investigate a call about a missing person. The caller is an old lady who claims to have psychic abilities. It turns out that the missing person is actually a tiny figurine from a dollhouse. Unfortunately after that a real local resident disappears. Although Zara and Bentley drive each other crazy, they know they must unravel the crime. I really enjoyed reading this book and cant wait to read more by the author.
snarky, verbal-humor, situational-humor, mystery, myths-legends, romance
Watch out for sprites, wyverns, djinns, witches, shifters, gorgons, and a really hot detective who just happens to be a vampire! Things don’t seem much crazier than usual in Wisteria until an apparently non magical elderly lady calls the police to warn of an impending kidnapping. That would be bad enough, but it’s really much worse! No spoilers, but a few questions get answered and more arise! Loved it!
Tiffany Williams is really great as the perky Zara and all the other fun characters.
Audiobook review: Book 2 is mysterious, fun, & entertaining! I really liked the world building. The characters are likable and believable. Different supernatural characters make the story interesting. The character humor is quirky but fun. Looking forward to the next book! The narrator did a nice job! I received a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Series: Wisteria Witches Mysteries, Book 9
This is an audible book I requested and the review is voluntary. I really enjoy this fun series, it hasn’t lost its appeal and it remains fresh! The characters are always developing, the world building is wonderful and solidly reinforced with each book, lots of humor scattered throughout the story, the fantasy itself is unique and interesting, and the plot is complex with unpredictable situations and lots of special interest going on at key points! Always multiple layers of things happening! Great fun, action, and supernatural hijinks.
The narration is performed with great feeling, distinctive voices, and delivers the humor perfectly!
I’ve loved every book in this series. The stories are entertaining and fun to read. My only complaint is that I immediately want to read the next one.
