Dance Me A Dream (Book 7)As guardian to her two younger half siblings, Tara Honeycutt has forgotten what it’s like to be a normal twenty-something. I love the Wishful Romance series and to get three of these books in one is great. This series takes place in a small Southern town, Wishful, Mississippi. Each book is a stand alone but we see some of the same characters from this town in each book. In Dance Me A Dream, we meet Jace and Tara. Jace’s family owns the Christmas tree farm and Tara takes care of her little brother and sister and works at a cafe. In See You Again, its a second chance at love for Gerald and Sandra. The Christmas Fountain is Chad and Mary Alice’s story. I was given an ARC of this book for an honest review. I had read them before, but loved reading them again. My favorite was See You Again because Gerald and Sandra were older with grown children. I rarely re-read a book but this series is an exception. I love each and every one of the books. I recommend them to anyone that likes a good Southern romance.
I love Wishful and Kait Nolan so much! I’ve read most of the books now, I just read Dance Me an Dream with this box set, somehow I missed it. Like all things Wishful, it was totally adorable. I didn’t even care that I was reading a Christmas book in August! The second book I did read before, and I just love a second chance romance! It breaks your heart a little, then glues it back together even stronger. Then this set finishes with another Christmas story, but after seeing what Mary Alice went through in a previous book, this one just warms your heart. Box sets are the best, and this is one of my favorite all time series!
Kait Nolan has managed to add three more stories to the Wishful line-up. The town of Wishful is such a great place. And the people are always so wonderful.
Dance Me A Dream finds Tara trying to make ends meet after she gave up school and a chance to be a ballerina so she could raise her step brother and sister. Wishful seems to be just the place for her to do this. Jace is home for the holidays from college where he is completing his master’s degree before coming home to take over the family farm. Because of some unfortunate occurrences, Tara and the kids find themselves in the house with no power and no source of heat. Jace offers them a small apartment over one of his barns and Tara reluctantly accepts. But men don’t want to have anything to do with a woman who has a ready-made family. Can Jace convince Tara to take a chance on him? And can Jace help Tara fulfill her dream of dancing the Sugar Plum Fairy?
See You Again—Sandy was supposed to leave her husband and run away with Trey but then things happened and she didn’t. Years later, Trey is successful and has built a great empire. He has several holdings in Wishful, including a hotel. But everyone knows him as Gerald. When Sandy meets him, she realizes he is the man she left waiting for her. Can they rekindle their relationship, now that she is divorced? Will her ex-husband cause trouble when he returns to town? Can Trey help Sandy without her feeling he is taking over?
The Christmas Fountain—The fountain in Wishful has a history of granting wishes made by those who throw coins into it. Chad is a physician who has come to Wishful to work in the ER so he can slow his pace and start thinking about a future with a wife and family. Mary Alice meets him when she accompanies a friend to the ER for care. She was left by the man she thought she loved. To make matters worse, a few weeks later he marries the woman he left her for. Now Mary Alice is trying to decide if she should take a chance on Chad. When she sees her ex with his new wife and learns that they are pregnant, it is like the knife is driven deep in her heart. Then she searches for Chad and finds him kissing a woman who is beautiful and what she isn’t. And she feels betrayed again. But what did she really see? When Chad tries to explain, she turns him away and tells him to leave. Can they resolve their issues? Will Mary Alice work through her feelings and realize she needs to give Chad a chance to explain?

This is a box set of 3 books previously published. I like to buy box sets when authors offer them because they save some money from buying the books individually.
This box set includes Dance Me a Dream (Tara and Jace), See You Again (Sandra and Trey), and The Christmas Fountain (Mary Alice and Chad).
Dance Me a Dream is really sweet and heartwarming. See You Again has some twists and turns that are unexpected for Sandra and Trey based on what you know of them from other books, but it’s a fascinating read. The Christmas Fountain revisits Mary Alice and gives her a nice HEA.
All in all, three well-written novels.
Dance Me A Dream
It may not be the Christmas season right now, but this story is timeless. Several other readers have said it before, it’s just like reading a Hallmark movie. There is just so much emotion packed into this little book it was spilling out of my eyes. I’ve adored Tara since I first read about her in the earlier books and I loved seeing her getting her own happy-ever-after hero. Jace, and his whole family, is pretty much perfect: sweet, patient, kind, caring, loving, and adores children. Where can I find a hero like that for myself? I will happily read everything ever published about Wishful and keep coming back for more.
See You Again
Sigh! I’ve been waiting not so patiently for this story ever since the end of the first book in the series. It was worth every moment of the wait. Over the course of all the books set in Wishful, we’ve gotten to know a little about both Sandra and Trey. And this time we get to know what happened thirty years ago that pulled them apart and made them into the people they are today. I loved seeing Sandra interact with all of her extended family. Those are some of my favorite scenes in the book. Seeing Trey learn how to navigate a relationship with a strong woman used to doing everything on her own and set in her ways was both heartbreaking and enlightening, as Sandra needed to learn that she has to meet him in the middle. I can’t wait to see who the next pair to get hitched in Wishful is going to be.
The Christmas Fountain
When I first read the description of this book, I didn’t immediately recognize Mary Alice as a character I had read before. But as I began reading it all started clicking in to place. I have to admit feeling a little uncomfortable seeing Judd from Mary Alice’s point of view. I invested so much emotion in him and Autumn getting their happily-ever-after, that I don’t quite know what to do with my feelings of righteous indignation on Mary Alice’s behalf now that I’m invested in her happily-ever-after. I think this is a brilliant example of just how talented the author is; that she can write characters that we love and hate in equal proportion depending on the angle we’re looking from. And Chad? Oh Chad. This man can do virtually no wrong by me – idiot timing for dramatic revelations not withstanding. The sweet, thoughtful things he does for Mary Alice to show how much she means to him are just the most precious things I’ve ever witnessed. This quick read had all of the wonder and magic of the holiday season.

Kait Nolan’s Wishful Romance series is wonderful! Volume 3 is no exception! It is filled with small town, southern christmas spirit and second chances. The town may be small, but the characters and stories are not! All three of these stories are fantastic!
In Dance Me A Dream, big sister Tara has given up her dreams and career at 19 years old to raise the half brother and sister she didn’t even know about. Unable to be a typical 19 year old, will Tara ever allow Jace the opportunity to pursue a future together and give her back the dream she gave up so many months ago?
The magic of a family Christmas on a Christmas tree farm is exactly the thing Tara and her siblings need! Jace is totally swoon worthy!
In See You Again, Trey and Sandy get a second chance after 30 years. Can they choose each other this go around? What will their children have to say? And what timing!! This is such a great second chance story!
In The Christmas Fountain, while privately overcoming a broken heart to avoid the town’s I-told-you-so’s, Mary Alice isn’t expecting to find her Mr. Right. When better to find him than while taking your bitten cousin to the ER for alcohol poisoning? That’s exactly when Mary Alice meets her Mr. Right, Dr. Chad Philips. This is a fantastic story draped in the healing balm of Christmas and TRUE love.

Dance Me A Dream. Book 7
This is a sweet novella where wishes can come true. Tara dropped out of college to take care of her half brother and sister as their mother left and their father was in prison. She was going to be a professional dancer, but she put that dream aside for her siblings. Tara worked two jobs to make ends meet and wanted to give her siblings a Christmas to remember. Jace came back to town from college for a month and saw Tara. He felt a connection with her and wanted to date her. Tara didn’t date as she always said that she couldn’t do that with taking care of her siblings and working. You need to read the book to see what happens.
Tara was such a good person to take care of her siblings as she had never met them before. She wanted to give them some stability that they never had. She was upset giving up her dream of dancing, but felt she had to take care of her siblings. I felt bad that a few of the guys she tried to date didn’t want anything to do with her because of the children. I was glad to see that Jace was a good guy and really wanted to help and get to know Tara. Jace’s family was great too. His homestead sounds like such a wonderful place to be around. It was a good book and I encourage you to read it. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader’s Copy.
See You Again. Book 8
Trey Peyton, Gerald Peyton III CEO of Peyton Consolidated. He is in Wishful, MS, helping vitalize the town with has assistant Nora. Thirty years ago he was in love with Sandy, but she chose to stay with her husband so he left. He married and divorced long ago and has gown daughter. He is still I love with Sandy after all this time. Sandy Crawford now mayor of the town called Wishful and has a grown son named Cam. Sandy has been divorced for 18 years. She is a strong woman who has handled things on her own for a long time. She has even gone through breast cancer. Her family is big and always trying to get in her business which she does not like. Nora is marrying Cam, Sandy’s son, but there was a bad storm and a tree fell on the church they are suppose to get married in. Trey goes to Sandy’s office to meet with her and offer his help with getting the church fixed. Sandy is shocked to see him, but happy.
I liked the book so much as I could relate to a few things in the book. Sandy and Trey are older (so am I) and Sandy went through breast cancer and so did I. I liked how Ms. Nolan handled the breast cancer subject, and had Trey tell her how beautiful she still is. Sandy’s ex-husband is a piece of work that I definitely did not like. There are some misunderstandings that take place that keeps things popping. I also liked how the children gave Sandy advice that she took to heart. I strongly encourage you to read the book. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader’s Copy of this book.
The Christmas Fountain. Book 9
This was a sweet Christmas novella. Mary Alice Reed had been with Jude for two years. Had never put her first and she always felt he wanted to be with his friend Amanda. He denied it, but Mary Alice ended breaking it off with him. It wasn’t six weeks later he was married to Amanda. Mary Alice me Dr. Chad Phillips when she took her cousin to the emergency room. He was everything Jude wasn’t. You can’t help but fall in love with Chad. Mary Alice was a loving, giving woman but had to get over how her ex treated her. I enjoyed the book and encourage you to read the book. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader’s Copy of this book.
Dance me a dream-one of my absolute favorite Wishful books. This story is so touching and hard to put down.
See you Again-this one is 30 years in the making. Love was lost, but can it be rekindled? I so hoped this story would evolve when the characters were introduced in other books. Loved it.
Christmas Fountain-a perfect Christmas story during this crazy heat wave. Mary Alice’s character was kind of lost when Judd moved on. It was wonderful to see what happened to her character.
All of these books are fabulous! Read them all. The characters will make you want to move to Wishful and be their friends!

Kait Nolan never disappoints!!!! While this set contains 3 books, each is it’s own story about a different couple in Wishful. Wishful is definitely the dream town, where everyone comes together for each other. Each story has such a great heartfelt story of love and romance. The stories are short but, packed full of romance. These stories definitely leave you satisfied. I am definitely looking forward to Mrs. Nolan’s future books!!!!!

What a great collection to fall in love with. Every story is amazing, and very well written. I couldn’t get enough. The characters, scenes, and the town itself had me falling in love with every turn of the page. I highly recommend these stories. Perfect to read at anytime they’re so sweet and romantic. I received these books from the author and reviewed voluntarily.
I have read these books as stand-alone stories and enjoyed re-reading them in this set. Kait brings these small town romances to life with an inter-connecting group of interesting characters. Well worth reading.

I so enjoyed this collection of stories! I hadn’t read them before, although I’ve read many Wishful stories about others. Kait Nolan has a gift for creating characters that touch your heart, make you laugh, and want to hug them. She also creates great chemistry between characters as well as situations that are so realistic, yet there is the spice of Wishful magic sprinkled in there as well. I highly recommend this book set.

Kait Nolan brings us back to the town of Wishful, a small Southern town full of character. In book 7, “Dance Me a Dream,” Tara Honeycutt is guardian to her two young half-siblings. She sacrificed college and became their parent at nineteen, uprooting herself instead of them. Every guy who tries fails at getting a date with her. Jace Applewhite, one of the many who have been shot down by Tara, is home for the holidays visiting family and getting ready for Christmas. Tara and her siblings have the opportunity to stay on the farm and experience what family is all about. It just may be that making a wish at the town fountain isn’t all that hokey.
“See You Again,” book 8 in the Wishful Series, gives us more than a peek into the live of town mayor Sandra Crawford. She’s been busy running the town and getting ready for her son Cam’s wedding to Norah. What she didn’t count on was a visitor from her past in the form of Gerald Peyton the third, or as she knew him, Trey. A weekend in Vegas leads to their own marriage and Trey spends the rest of the story trying to convince Sandra that they were really meant to be. Oh yeah, and the town fountain is involved in this story, too.
This volume is rounded out with “The Christmas Fountain,” book 9 in the Wishful Series. Mary Alice is nursing a broken heart. She thought she found her HEA, but he was someone else’s HEA. Everyone else saw that he was not her Mr. Right; hindsight is always 20/20. One drunken mishap later–spoiler alert: it wasn’t her– Mary Alice meets ER doc Chad. Her experience with the ex-boyfriend prevent her from seeing Chad for who he is–a sincere guy who’s doing his own looking for his Mrs. Right. That fountain came into play in this story, too!
I’ve enjoyed reading through this volume of books, even though it was kind of weird to be reading about Christmas in two of the books in the middle of summer! Kait Nolan writes easy to read books with great storylines and paints a picture of a great small town that I would like to visit if it was a real destination.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Kait Nolan has done it again! I love her stories and her characters. If you’re looking for all the feels with just the right amount of angst, you can’t go wrong with Nolan. This collection has two wonderful Christmas romances and a second-chance love story with a mature couple (shocker – people over 40 fall in love, too!). I received an advanced reader copy.
Kait Nolan, ‘Wishful Romance’, volume 3, books 7-9.
As a Hidden Gem ARC reader I received this book for free. And promised an honest review. Here it is. English isn’t my first language. Sorry for errors.
Rating: 4 stars (of 5).
In general: Sweet romance in a small southern town.
Part I, ‘Dance me a Dream’.
Main characters:
– Tara Honeycutt (21).
She’s a barista, yoga teacher and designer of jewels. A few years ago her dad was sentenced to jail on burglary charges. She was appointed guardian of her two half-siblings (11 and 9 years old) for her father’s new wife already left for parts unknown before he went in jail. She accepted the guardianship, but thereby had to give up her dream of becoming a ballet dancer.
– Jace Applewhite (24).
His parents own a farm near Wishful, a small town in the South of the US. He’s studying Land Management at Mississippi State University in Starkville and now at home for the Christmas holidays.
Part I starts at the fountain in Wishful. For readers of Kait Nolan’s books a symbol in the place where many stories of the author are situated. And again she describes with a lot of feeling the live in that small town where people know and care for each other.
Jace meets Tara when he visits his sister’s coffeeshop where Tara works. He’s immediately completely smitten seeing the gorgeous, elegantly moving barista with the sad eyes. Tara, who needs all her time to care for her half-siblings, at first keeps her distance. But when her home is without gas during a few days before Christmas he manipulates Tara and her family into a stay at the guesthouse of the family farm. And tries to win her heart. A sweet romance.
Part II, ‘See You Again’.
Main characters:
– Sandra Crawford.
Born and raised in Wishful. Married very young but quickly her marriage became hell. Got a child. Tried to rescue her marriage but after a few years divorced. Finished then her education. Suffered breast cancer and was healed by chemo. Now mayor of the small southern town.
– Gerald (Trey) Peyton.
Lived near Wishful in his youth. Best friend of Sandra. Declared his love for her when he saw that she was very unhappy in her marriage. Made advanced plans to escape her marriage with him. But at the last moment Sandra chose to stay with her husband and a disillusioned Trey left town to become in Chicago the very wealthy CEO in the investment company of his family.
After 30 years Trey and Sandra meet again. A very talented, brilliant marketing advisor (Norah Burke) Trey liked, is now Wishful’s city planner and had him persuaded to invest in the region. He visits the town to inspect his investments and to attend Norah’s coming marriage with Cam, Sandra’s son. When Sandra and Trey finally meet, the old mutual attraction still proves strong. But can they forget their disappointments from the past and are both strong personalities able to accept each other’s help to overcome difficulties? Kait Nolan answers these questions with a lot of insight and feeling.
Part III, ‘The Christmas Fountain’.
Main characters:
– Mary Alice Reed.
Born and raised in Wishful. Teacher at the elementary school.
– Chad Phillips.
Trauma surgeon at the town hospital. Left Atlanta for a job with a better work/free time balance.
Mary Alice meets Chad in the hospital when she brings in a girlfriend, who drank too much during a bar visit trying to forget her break up. Chad likes the good looking, caring teacher and find ways to meet her again. That results in dating, but both have doubts about a new relationship after disappointments in the past. Then follows a nice, well written story – with some wonderful characters – about the development of their relationship. An easy to read page turner.
All in all: the three parts didn’t have an extremely original plot but gave a lovely impression of sweet romance in a small southern town; for me – again – a pleasure to read one of Kait Nolan’s books.

Dance Me A Dream
Dance Me A Dream is so much more than a sweet romance. It’s a story with heart and soul. A story of sacrifice, heartache, lending aid to those in need, and love. Lots of love. Love of family, love for those in need of a caring word and a helping hand, and romantic love. Tara is a strong, capable woman with a heart of gold. Jace is a dream come true- at least to me. He has a heart as big as they come. He is sensitive, loves kids, and a romantic. WOW!
See You Again
See You Again is a delightful second chance romance featuring a middle-aged couple, Sandy and Trey. I love stories with older couples because I can really relate to them. Sandy and Trey have dealt with life’s trials and tribulations and come out stronger and wiser. I was pleased to see the issue that caused them to separate 30 years ago was addressed in a straightforward manner early on. Trey’s idea for a surprise date was a dandy. It definitely set the stage for the rest of their relationship.
I love the town of Wishful. A community that pulls together to help their own is a wonderful place to live. Even with everybody knowing everyone’s business, I would love to live there.
I strongly urge you to read See You Again. Kait Nolan’s books are well-written and filled with unique characters you will fall in love with. Guaranteed.
The Christmas Fountain
Once again, Kait Nolan has written a charming, sweet romance. Mary Alice and Chad make a terrific couple. Both are loving, compassionate, passionate people. Chad is darn near perfect. Definitely a swoon-worthy hero. The date he planned was beyond romantic. *sigh* I’m thinking I need to make a trip to Wishful and toss my coin in the fountain.
If you’re looking for a delightful, well-written Christmas story with lovable characters and a dash of humor, look no further. I urge you to read all the books in the Wishful series.
This Wishful Romance contains books 7-9 in this wonderful Southern, small town series… Dance Me a Dream, See You Again and The Christmas Fountain. I read all these books individually and they are all delightful, romantic and full of the most amazing characters. Kait Nolan brings southern, small town life alive and highlights both the good and the bad parts. I love this series, it is one that I will read again and again and this box set makes catching up with my favourite town, the people, the dramas and the romances so easy. I definitely recommend this box set even if you have not read any of the other books in the series. Each book can be read a a wonderful stand-alone. Welcome to Wishful.
