I enjoy all of Toby Neals books…Been reading her for several years…love everything she writes
love all of her books
Is a captivating read that holds you in place flipping the pages to see what Sophie does next and how she handles life-threatening moments. A must read.
This was a page turner for me. Could not wait to get the ex-husband found and see what Sophie was going to do with him.
I’ve read all of Toby Neal’s books about Lei and now am reading about Sonja aka Mary Watson, aka Sandy! Love the setting in the Hawaiian Islands. Since visiting there, the background makes it much more enjoyable to try to ‘solve’ the mysteries involved. Thanks, Toby Neal. Looking forward to reading more
Strong woman – unfortunately that way because she was damaged as a child, which always seems to be the motivation for women in books and movies. But still, a strong woman lead
Toby Neal’s characters ALWAYS come to life., and her depiction of life in Hawaii seems to hit the nail on the head. Although her books do have a sequence, enough background info is provided so that the reader can enjoy each book even if (like me) you don’t always read them in order.
I am reading Toby Neal series now! Finished Wired Hard & loved it, started Wired Dark & had to stop to recharge Kindle, but I’m half way thru & loving it also. Anything with Tei, Sophie & Marcella I am hooked. Thank you Toby Neal.
I am a big fan of Toby Neal but i can’t give the Wired series a 5 star because it often seems over wrought and not really believable. That doesn’t stop me from buying a reading.
Toby Neal is a wonderful writer. The story develops logically and the characters are well-developed. I want to read the entire “Wired” series.
I love the Sophie Ang character. She is a strong feminine character who holds her own and often out wits out maneuvers her male counterparts. Yes she has flaws and weaknesses she has to deal with … A bit of a cliff hanger ending – as often happens in books of a series. Even when you finish you want to read on
IToby Neal does a very good job of keeping me reading, the twists and turns can be somewhat unpredictable. I am not a huge fan of romance reads but the action keeps me intriqued.
I can’t say enough about Toby Neal. I love her characters – who continually grow and evolve in this series. The descriptions of Hawaii are exquisite. The plots are intricate and somewhat diabolical. It is very easy to get lost in an afternoon of reading, determined to reach the end. This only leaves the reader wanting more! I highly recommend this series but it is probably best to start with book 1.
Sophia Ang is wildly improbable. She is also entertaining, and courageous. She needs to find men who are a little more dull, but less likely to engage in criminal behaviour.
I love Toby Neal books! I love the books location of Hawaii, I do have trouble with some of the Hawaiian names, but now I really want to go to Hawaii. I Have read the entire Lei crime series and now waiting for the next book in the Paradise Crime series.
Toby Neal’s books are GREAT! Loved her Lei Crime series and the Paradise Crime series (a spin off from the Lei Crime series, continuing the stories of many of the original series’ characters) keeps up the high levels of action and engagement. The Hawaiian location of all the books doesn’t hurt either. You can tell Toby Neal loves what she writes about and she makes Hawaii, its many cultures and ethnic mixes come alive. You learn a lot while being highly entertained. Read them all!
Anything Toby Neal writes keeps me riveted. Hate to put them down.
Several involved and twisted plot lines, some romance, lots of action and adventure, a really complex heroine, great read
I read a lot. This a a good book and I recommend it.
Stayed up into the wee hours to finish it.
