Tor Jude and I managed to salvage something beautiful from the war torn rubble of our lives, a blissful happiness that we paid for in blood. We fought our way here, leaving pieces of ourselves along the way. I thought this was the happily ever after in our twisted fairy tale, but I was wrong. Jude I may be free by definition. That freedom came at a heavy cost and my family is about to pay the … to pay the price. At any moment, this façade will come crashing down. Hard. The life I’ve lived—that kind of world—it stains you, and no matter how hard you try, you can never escape its wrath. Not even in death.
Love. Fear. Loss.
We’re walking a wire and all that’s beneath us is destruction.

Oh my, this was way intense my heart was in my mouth throughout talk about edge of your seat. This was such a rollercoaster a runaway train and shit just kept on getting worse. This is set two years after wrath, Jude and Tor are happy living their life in their island paradise with Marney and daughter Cayla. Jude now a ghost is laundering money for a Mexican Cartel. Everything is peaceful until trouble inevitably finds its way to their door and once again Jude and his family are placed in the firing line.
There’s also a lot of tension and angst between Jude and Tor as with Cayla now a part of their lives Tors priorities have shifted and as much as She loves Jude their daughter naturally comes first.
This takes us back onto US soil and down into Mexico as Jude and Tor are in a race against the clock to save their family. There are Mexican cartels and Russian mobsters this one really had it all and it was amped and so emotional. Tor has to make an impossible choice her man or her child and then to top it all off there was that finale oh my god what I way to leave you hanging luckily the next part is already out.

….What the hell did I just read? Seriously? Ending it like that? Wire, the third installment in this series is just getting better and better with every page I read. Wire picks up right where we left Jude and Tor with their daughter Cayla living a happy peaceful life. No longer living the life of an illegal bookie but loving parents to their two year old. But it doesn’t stay that way for very long, not when the past comes back to bite Jude in the ass and his family are the ones that are in danger.
Wire is edgy, it’s thrilling and keeps you on the edge of your seat right until the very last page. It’s one hell of a roller coaster, it’s emotional, it’s dark and twisted and keeps you on your toes. It was great to see Jude and Tor again with Cayla.
You must read the first two in this series to understand what is going on. But this is one amazing series. Another 5 stars from me and I can’t wait to read the next one!
I’ve put this book off long enough. It’s been in my Kindle since its release but I couldn’t stand the thought of Jude and Tor’s world being torn apart. Their world is far from normal and never will be the perfect HEA. But their little slice of heaven in paradise with their sweet baby just made me feel like they’d had enough and deserved their anonymity.
But peace and anonymity were not in the cards. He’s made too many enemies. And cartels and mob bosses are coming at him from all sides. He’s valuable and Tor and Cayla are…expendable?! They’re reacting in the heat of the moment, anger and panic and the need to protect their innocent little girl. Many mistakes and lies and secrets. And BAM!!! I knew it was too good to last. I’m cursing the authors right now. Time to dig into War to see if what I read is really true. It just CAN’T be!!
Not for the faint of heart but I highly recommend this series; even though it has a cliffhanger at the end of every book. If you stuck with it through books 1& 2, you are obviously as hooked as I was so books 3 & 4aterecommended byme. The HEA is worth
it!!!
