Adam Westlake had two true loves: snowboarding and Piper Easton. He lost them both and now he’s broken. The scars from where they cut his skull open are no longer visible, but the traumatic brain injury means it isn’t safe for him to ride again and he hasn’t spoken to Piper in eighteen months. Not since he got out of the hospital and fled Colorado, terrified he wouldn’t be able to resist … strapping on his board when the snow started falling. He’s been chasing summer around the world ever since, until a lucrative offer to report on the Olympics brings him home to face all the temptations he left behind.
He might be able to summon the willpower to stay off the mountain, but Piper?
She’s irresistible.
Piper Easton is a fixer. As a teenager she took over running the house when her mom got sick, and when her snowboarder brother was injured, she found the top knee guru in town and finagled a same-day appointment. She’s got an exclusive internship lined up in Europe and she’ll be leaving as soon as she watches her brother Ben win a gold medal. She just has to clean up one last mess: the way her stupid heart jumps whenever her ex-boyfriend appears. She and Adam are friends now, that’s it. That’s all they can ever be.
But maybe a few benefits aren’t out of the question. Just until their trip to the Olympics finishes and they both go their separate ways. Surely the problem will be fixed by then.
Contains: sex as an Olympic sport, dirty dancing while wearing eye goggles, ninety-nine penis balloons, and a blowjob rudely interrupted by a devil in feline form.

This series is definitely one of my favourites from 2018! I especially love the fact that Carrie Quest has chosen to write a sports romance that isn’t really written about, Snowboarding.
Wiping Out is Book 2 in the Snow-Crossed lovers series, and the one I was looking forward to. This is Adam and Piper’s story, who we were introduced to in Book 1. Adam and Piper have quite the history but that was before his accident a few years ago. But now he is back in Breckenridge, sharing a house with Piper and her brother Ben trying to put his life back together. Piper is a fixer by her own admission and has always been a fixer but is she able to fix Adam and is she trying to fix him for the right reasons? I was particularly impressed at how Carrie Quest tackled the sensitive issue of brain injuries.
The characters in this book are extremely well-written, likeable, strong and have great depth. I was truly enthralled and captivated by Piper and Adams journey to love and redemption. This is second chance romance at it’s finest. I absolutely devoured this book and simply could not put this book down.
This book has got everything; romance, true love, heartbreak, passion and plenty of witty banter and funny moments. A special mention must also go to the star of the show; Chuckles the Cat! Seriously, this cat is an absolute legend! He provided perhaps the most hilarious scene I have probably ever read in a book. Mega LOL’s. I literally had to keep re-reading it. He really deserves a book on his own. I would happily read that!!!
Anyone who loves Sports Romance should definitely One-Click this series. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. This is a fantastic addition to this series. I can’t wait for the next book!
Great job, Carrie Quest!!!
Didn’t find either MC to be all that interesting, and I couldn’t connect to the story. Seems everyone else liked it, so maybe I was just in a funk when I read it.
