She’s the city girl from Boston. He’s the gift shop owner from the bay. Their worlds were never meant to collide.Dylan Fraser is an artist, a dreamer, and a failed actor. He runs a gift store on the edges of Starling Bay, a small coastal town where nothing much happens.Merry Nicholls hates Christmas. The festive season is full of bad memories, especially this year which marks the five-year … year which marks the five-year passing of her husband’s death.
Falling ill due to stress, and at her mother’s insistence, Merry reluctantly visits Starling Bay. She’s supposed to recuperate, but with her surly daughter and her Great Dane in tow, not to mention the town’s busy body on her back, recuperation might not be possible.
And when her dog crashes into a gift shop, breaking a collection of handmade Christmas coffee mugs, all chances of an easy recovery period go out of the window.
Neither Dylan nor Merry are looking for love, but maybe it’s time for them to let go and give in.
Because when the timing is right, and the feeling is ripe, taking a risk with their hearts could give them a second chance at love.
Winter’s Kiss is a STANDALONE sweet romance, with a HEA.

A story about recognizing priorities. It takes the lead character a while but she finally gets it. A happy for now ending with good storyline. Strong characters. No sex or foul language.
Romance & love. What more could you ask for?
Sweet lovely story, well written.
I just finished, “Winter’s Kiss” and it left me wanting to visit the pottery shop and maybe making a move. Definitely worth your time.
I liked this
s book. Looking forward to reading the others in the series
Great Story
Merry lost her husband in a plane crash 5 yrs ago and has been raising her daughter Chloe with help from her parents. But she has been working to hard and collapsed, her doctor recommended time off. So she, her daughter and their Great Dane and head to Sterling Bay. Dylan owns a pottery store that the dog decided to run into.
This was good book to curl up and read on a cold day. I loved the town, the characters in the book, and the Great Dane!
Great story. A young widow vacationing in a small town finds love. Book is kind of a cliff hanger
Enjoyed it. Predictable but that’s not a bad thing.
Reminded me of Janet Daley’s book that I read years ago. Needed something not too serious and this fit the bill
it was note what I though would
I absolutely loved this story!!!
A wonderful sweet read.
A nice romance. The characters are generally well developed and sympathetic, the plot is well paced and mostly well thought out and the constraints of the romance novel format are met. The book also has a pleasant Christmas theme.
A few negatives include a lack of any unusual, imaginative or socially aware devices or themes. And, in a fit of apparent laziness, the otherwise likeable h behaves like a complete ninny to bring the plot to completion. These faults don’t detract too much from an enjoyable read, but they mean that this little novel is in no way memorable.
A great moral about learning to be mindful about the things that matter, children, family, friends and of course yourself. All set in a charming and idyllic locale.
Loved it.
It was great. Couldn’t put it down. Kept me worrying….but that is what kept me reading. Frustration about maybe she was being taken advantage, so had to see if she could manage to stand up for herself. I felt it was very worth reading.
Nice story with likeable characters.
good
Never finished it.
