Love this whole series. Original setting and characters. Great read!
Box is always a winner.
Love the book but then I love all his books
Every book by CJ Box is great!
C J Box is amazing. All of his books engulf me and keep me hooked. One if not the best writers I’ve ever read. Joe Pickett is one of my favorite characters. I highly recommend this phenonmial book and series!! WinterKill will leave you wanting more.
Great read.
Love CJ Box, came in later in the series and haven’t read them all. Enjoy that Joe has struggles at home and work and makes mistakes. He values his family and loves the land he works and that always comes through.
C. J Box never disappoints. A great series.
Have enjoyed all his books.
great series
I don’t typically read anything where I know animals are going to be hurt. However, I’ve read this author before and figured I could skip over the parts about wildlife being killed since the book was actually about a person being murdered, and since the main character is a wildlife game warden. I was not that far into the book, when a segment involving an extremely mistreated yorkie dog in the wilderness was then run over by a Jeep, not only left me extremely upset at the gratuitous cruelty as it related to the story, but upset me enough that I stopped reading the book completely. I don’t understand why that had to be inserted into the story and had no desire to read anything further at that point, even if it did turn out to be for some important point to the story of a man’s murder.
A book you can’t put down once you start reading it……….
Another good story by c.j. Box
II love the series, and as with all the other books in the series, this one does not disappoint.
Great descriptive , wintery Wyoming mystery.
Haven’t read a book of C J Box that I didn’t enjoy. He can’t write them fast enough for me.
I thought it was a great read.
