Return to USA Today bestseller Tiffany Reisz’s Original Sinners series with “Winter Tales,” a collection of three fan-favorite Christmas novellas plus a brand-new novella exclusive to this anthology. In “December Wine,” the long-awaited story of Nora Sutherlin’s first meeting with Nico can finally be told. Nora enlists her editor (and sometimes lover) Zach Easton on a mission to track down … down Kingsley’s long-lost son. Nicolas “Nico” Delacroix turns out to be young, strikingly handsome, and very French. He wants nothing to do with his father…but everything to do with Nora.
This special holiday-themed collection also includes the novellas “Poinsettia,” “The Christmas Truce,” and “The Scent of Winter” (previously available only as ebooks). A bonus short story starring Søren rounds out the “Winter Tales” anthology.

Tiffany reisz is a goddess. That’s the only way to explain how amazing this book was. I loved the orginal sinner and this book just brought it all back home for me.
Every year I look forward to the Original Sinners bonus stories. I am slightly obsessed with these characters, and it’s always a thrill to return to their world. Winter Tales gifts us with five novellas from various points in time within the OS saga timeline. I loved every word. Reisz is a brilliant writer. She transports you into the lives of these characters, makes you laugh and cry, makes your heart swell and bleed, and she always keeps me wanting more.
With Winter Tales Tiffany Reisz has put together a wonderful collection of winter themed short stories set in the Original Sinners world. I started out reading this (and bad on me for not reading this closer to release date ) with the intention to just read the newest in the bunch, but ended up reading the entire offering. There’s something about Tiffany Reisz’s characters and her writing that this reader in and won’t let me go. It’s like visiting old friends.
In December Wine, Nora and Zach go looking for Nico in France. I really like how these stories reveal little bits of a larger puzzle that the reader doesn’t get to see until Ms. Reisz lets you. It’s an intriguing and sometimes frustrating way to compose a story. It really keeps things interesting.
This story had me thinking about secrets and the trouble knowing a secret can cause and had me examining my own feelings regarding marriage fidelity. I like that about this series.
Fans of the series definitely need this. It’s hard for me to say how it works for new readers.
I loved the time I spent revisiting with these characters reading Winter Tales. The characters fascinate me, and it’s all good.

This Christmas Santa Tiffany brings a bag full of Søren anecdotes. It was truly embarrassment of the riches as we get not 1, not 2, but 5 short stories, of time lapses in Original Sinners series
The winter tale was just like a winter holiday, crisp, fragrant and nostalgic. The warmth brought in by Kingsley’s son (yep!!) Nico. Both are taken by surprise at this unexpected revelation.Nora and Zach find themselves on the way to Soret in France to meet Nicholas himself and share the news. And of course, what’s a few night stoppages on the way between Nora the Mistress and the guy who gave her the BEST ANAL SEX ever!! So that tiny juicy morsel is to make me and the story moist……worked!
Lots of emotions overflow and trickle from the eyes of the characters and readers. It’s sweet in its own way, though a long road ahead lies for King, Juliette, Nora, Søren and Zach & Grace. Cause they hold Søren’s son too!!!!
Surprise! Surprise!
Next three stories are all linked to holiday cheer too. There’s Nora celebrating Christmas overwhelmingly with younger Kingsley when her and Søren were on a break. There’s Magdalena teaching Søren some tricks when he comes back for assurance and confidence after Fionn, his son is born.
It lands perfectly before the holidays and Hopefully there will be more during to warm us with Tiffany’s trademark style of kink with my fave priest!
The 5 stars for tender hiccups
Winter Tales is a collection of Christmas short stories from Tiffany Reisz’s delectable Original Sinners series. Although Reisz has gifted her newsletter subscribers with a free Christmas short story every holiday, this year’s story is exclusive to this book. But, she generously included a bonus short story at the end and added a few favorites from years past that were not previously available in print. It makes the perfect gift to give yourself and another Original Sinners fan, and you can thank the Reisz goddess for all the hours she and her manservant surely invested to make it happen … just … for … you. Merry Christmas

When I see Tiffany release anything to do with the Original Sinners I immediately want to grab it with both hands and read it (even if I’ve read it before). Having December Wine, a totally new story, to start this anthology was incredible. It is the story of when Nico and Nora first meet and I loved discovering what happened. Add in that we get to spend time with Zach and the heat in this story is off the charts! There is lots of emotion and it is lovely to see the characters being themselves. The end scenes are wonderful. I couldn’t have asked for anything better from start to finish!
The other stories in this anthology have all been published previously but this did not for one minute spoil my enjoyment. In fact, I now want to start re-reading the whole Original Sinners series once again! The Christmas Truce is one of my absolute favourites and I loved reliving Christmas Eve with Kingsley, Søren and Nora.
There is something for everyone in Winter Tales. If you have a favourite character you will find them in there. If you want erotica this is the place to find that too. Tiffany writes the most incredible words that will bring out all the emotions in you. I have always loved the interaction between her characters and I will never stop wanting more!
I loved the new bonus short story addition of Blood and Snow. Soren (Bambi) and Magdalene! Oh boy their convo was very interesting. By the end it feels like a “Stinger!” I really did enjoy all of these stories though. I swear it feels as if Winter is in my house, with the way Tiffany describes the cold lol.
I received this book at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
Words continue to escape me when trying to review a Tiffany Reisz book. Her writing is truly in another stratosphere where the term skimming is not only forbidden but you’d be labeled a fool to even think you could even try to get away with that. Your mind would revolt at the loss of the beauty that is her mode of expression. Please just that leap and enjoy this exquisite ride.
With Winter Tales, we are treated to various short stories circling around our beloved Nora, Kingsley and SØREN with the backdrop of Christmas and how it can provide perhaps a bit of magic to these weathered souls. Their witty banter, their insistence on doing things their way is beyond wonderful to watch. The way they behave when in each other’s presence is it’s own kind of marvelous spectacle with often lofty expectations that are beautifully soothed by even the most subtle of and simplest of gifts.
To witness the sincere emotion, albeit at times almost easy to miss, as the most unexpected of surprises are unleashed had my own heart bursting with love. For characters who have weaved themselves in and out of each other’s lives for years, they can still offer a bit of mystery as revelations and confessions are revealed. And give even the most hardened of hearts that bit of humanity and faith they thought was lost forever.
But it’s the way Reisz stays true to her characters that continues to give us fans true joy. Although they falter a bit when presented with a new truth or presumed burden, their strong and complicated personalities never fail them and they truly give the term ‘gift-giving’ a whole new meaning. I shared the joy of the season right along with SØREN, his King and his Eleanor. They are a threesome who never fail to keep me engaged all the while revving up my emotions in the most perfect of ways.
Also enjoying ‘cameos’ by other beloved personas we’ve come to know in the Original Sinners series, Winter Tales will make for a grand holiday treat for new and old fans alike. It is not to be missed!
5 + snowy stars!
DISCLAIMER #1: Honestly, I didn’t think this would have to be said considering this is billed as a RETURN to the Original Sinners as well as a collection of FAN FAVORITE novellas. Still, I have already seen complaints from people who, for some reason, know nothing about this series, but for some reason, requested to read this story anyway. However, IF YOU ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH OUR SINNERS THAN YOU WILL NOT UNDERSTAND THIS COLLECTION OF SHORT STORIES.
And now on to my review.
I have said it before, and I will repeat it. I will NEVER tire of the unholy trinity that is Nora, Kingsley, and Søren. Nor will I ever tire of Mistress Tiffany and her Christmas gift to her faithful readers.
With the exception of December Wine, and the bonus Søren short at the end, the other three novellas were published in e-book format only as special gifts to her readers over the years. Therefore, this anthology spans decades.
Decades of love, of loss, of betrayal.
That is the thing when you pick up a story by Tiffany Reisz. It doesn’t matter that the subject matter includes things that are definitely not everyone’s cup of tea. The erotica doesn’t take center stage, even when it does. There is always so much more. The depth to these characters, their feelings, the convoluted world they navigate, you FEEL them. You are able to experience their pain, their love, their frustrations. Even when you want to hate them, you can’t help but love them.
If you worship at the altar of Søren, you will enjoy this anthology. If you haven’t yet fallen at his feet? Read The Siren, and then join the rest of us.
DISCLAIMER: I received a complimentary copy of this novel in exchange for my honest review. This has not affected my review in any way. All thoughts and opinions expressed in this review are 100% my own.
Winter Tales is a collection of excerpts and short stories based on characters from one of Tiffany Reisz’ series, although it didn’t specify which one. There are many characters but little background so it is difficult to follow at times. This work is very adult, and not mainstream adult. Although the writing is good, the storylines lost me quickly and I chose not to finish this book.
This book was not to my taste and, therefore, I cannot recommend it.
