This instalment was great, I love how the intrigue and drama has built up throughout the series, and the characters feel like old friends, I can’t wait for the next book. I received this book in exchange for my honest review.
Since her human mother was killed by the Morrigan, Wyn has blocked out everyone, her guardians, her birth mother Biera, only Blaze has been allowed and then only because of his sparklies. After a horrible scene with Blaze her anger and depression ruling her, she fights her guardians attempts to reach her and the magic flares again. With everyone still blocked out she ends up back in the library of lives once again, this time she needs to decide live or die. After looking at her human mother’s book she decides life and her shields crash down.
Open again Biera is now able to save her from the destruction her magic has caused. Unfortunately the effort of saving everyone in that wing of the palace has left Biera with no reserves. She needs Wyn to rule.
There’s another problem too, Crispin her healer guardian is angry. While she reunites with Frost, Arc and Storm, Crispin stays away. She also begins her rule.
With Crispin it takes a bit more but once they are all together again things start moving rapidly towards war.
Flora the Goddess of Spring wishes and alliance and then there’s the dragons and Ada to deal with.
So much happens in this book, there is pain, tears, battle plans, laughter and sizzling heat.
I can’t wait read the next book in this series.
The plot thickens, a grieving Wyn must take on her Mother’s role, strategize against a growing threat, find allies to diminish the coming foe. Strength, allegiance and faith summarize this third book in The Daughter of Winter Series.

Laurel Schroeder continues to bring these characters to life in such an excellent way. It is so easy to tell who is who and I love that.
This is a great continuation of the story. I love the twists and turns that happen. And I am enjoying seeing the way the characters are growing and adapting to their situation. Ohhhh what happens at the end…I so need the next book now!
Another great addition to Wyn’s story. There is more action, adventure, and steam. The world and relationship building continues to develop as we are introduced to an increasing number of enemies. I was hooked until the last word.
This is the third book in this fantastic RH Series, The Daughter of Winter. The story continues, with Wyn and her guardians Arc, Crispin, Storm, and Frost. They share an undeniable and beautiful chemistry. Their bound gets stronger book after book, and we learn more about them. The storyline is well written, intricate, fast-paced, action packed, and captivating! There are many interesting, strong, and intriguing characters in this story. Now, I can’t wait for the next and last book in the Series, Winter Goddess! Laurel Schroeder did another amazing narration. She has the perfect voice for this Series!
In book 3, we get closer to the guys and experience some unique ways to do that. There seems to be more intrigue going on and Wynter is having a hard time dealing with everything that has happened. We get another look at that cool library. I love Wynter and the guys and am glad that each book has been a good book of itself. The narrator, Laurel Schroeder, does a fantastic job separating characters, going at a great pace, and bringing it all to life.
Audiobook Version:
Need more! Of all the books, this one was back and forth with my emotions. watching the damage grief can reap to see new powers unfolding. I was quite twitchy at the end and now will be pacing until the next book comes out. Again, i would love a bit more heat in this RH but it is still a great story.
Narration is still fabulous. Laurel does a great job with all characters! Fantastic listen

This is a wonderful continuation of this story.
fast paced and intense as more surprises and mysteries appear at every turn.
A very compelling story!
What just happened! I was so engrossed in the story I didn’t realize it was almost over. When it ended I started banging on my steering wheel no no no! This series just gets better with every book, the characters more developed ,new allies are formed Wyn’s magic gets stronger, It’s crazy good and other then being so mad it ended I highly recommend it. If you have ever listen to Laurel Schroeder you already know the narration is amazing. Especially when she does Arc, Wyn has three other guardians, can I have him? If you haven’t listened to one of Laurel’s books why not?
Wyn is having some issues after everything that went down in the last book and on top of that her mom is sick not really getting any better. The Morrigan is gearing up for attack with Arthur by her side leaving Wyn vulnerable at a really bad time. Can she take the reins for her mom, fix things with her men, and save them all in the end? Well some of that is answered in this new installment and I bet the rest will be in the finale coming next. If you read books 1 and 2 then of course you have to read this and if you haven’t read them yet why not? I really enjoyed it so I give it 4/5 stars.
Winter Queen is the third book in the series and was just as good as the first two. We also now know the dangers of unicorn sparklies. Don’t get addicted to those.
Wyn is grieving for her adopted mother, but she has to get past the worst of her grief to help her Guardians and her realm. Once she does, man the steam comes off the pages from her makeups with her Guardians. Wyn also realizes her strength as a princess and takes on the role with great courage.
The ending was a shocker. What has Wyn become? What does it mean?
Amazing magic, steamy romance, evil goddess, need I say more?
Originally I came back for the characters which is definitely the strength of this story but now I’m hooked, I need more information on this world and I need more right now. Hurry up I need the next book now.
This story starts with Wyn dealing with her grief. You really feel her grief. One of my favorite this about this authors stories is that you feel the emotions the characters are going through. Once Wyn gets her head back in the game, she has to take over for Beira. I liked seeing her take charge and really come into her own. I also really liked seeing her and Crispin address his issues – I thought it was handled beautifully. The story ends on a bit of an edge, and I was really excited to see that we are going to get a 4th book in the series!
