They say love always finds you when you’re not looking for it….Romance writer Jennifer Graham heads to Dublin for a two month research trip, and to heal from a recent breakup. The last thing she is looking for is romance, especially with another workaholic…and then she meets Ian Shephard. He’s the son of her best friend’s aunt, the one she is staying with while she’s in Ireland. He’s staying … her best friend’s aunt, the one she is staying with while she’s in Ireland. He’s staying there too, temporarily while his condo is being renovated. Their attraction is immediate and unexpected. But dating Ian would be a very bad idea, for three very good reasons. He’s not looking for a relationship, he is a workaholic and he lives in another country….
So, they’ll just be friends…..that’s the plan anyway.

What I did not like is that it was so predictable and lack luster. I have been to Ireland, and this book did was not descriptive enough as to form a picture of the beautiful country to take the readers there. Basically, it was unflattering to Ireland. The average Irish Mam is very proud of hosting a foreigner and would cook several Irish fares for the guest. Not Italian food. She did prepare roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, which the Brits claim. There were Irish breakfast or tea, except for the scones. I felt that more research could have been done to transport the readers to an authentic Ireland.
Good quick read.
Okay. I enjoyed the characters but it wasn’t a real page turner for me.
Predictable plot. mediocre characters.
Dialogue was a bit stilted, but otherwise a nice read.
Enjoyable, easy read.
Nice book to get lost in.
A tad shallow but a good pallet cleanser.
