Imagine lying in a hospital bed and the doctor who pulls the curtain back to treat you is the one who got away. Even if you never really had her in the first place. She’s not only your high school crush, she’s the ex-girlfriend of your ex-best friend. The one girl you’ve always wanted. Here’s a step-by-step list to finally win her over… she snuck back into town without telling you—six months ago.
Key to win #2: Rekindle the friendship to ease the awkwardness. But… DO NOT enter the friend zone.
Key to win #3: Ignore the fact that she went speed dating the night before. Take it as good a sign—maybe she’s looking for a relationship.
Key to win #4: Attempt to keep the two of you out of the town gossip blog and away from your large family.
Make sure you don’t let this last one throw you off your mission.
Key to win #5: Don’t get deterred when you find out the past is about to repeat itself. Because the man she met at the speed dating night is your best buddy from work.
Just remember, you sat back and let her slip away once, you won’t do it a second time. Failure is not an option.

Kingston was always the mystery family member in the Bailey family in my opinion. The only thing you knew for sure was that he loved Stella & it ended badly. Maybe that’s why I wasn’t as excited for his book as I was all the others. But I truly loved his book. They did such a good job with Stella & King’s story that I couldn’t stop reading it.
These two had been through so much together. Stella was way different than I thought she’d be, I really really liked her character. Kingston was such a daredevil & I loved that. I wish I had some of that daredevilness.
If you love the Bailey family then you don’t want to miss this read. To finally understand Stella & Kingston & watch their love grow.
Although that ending! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! How am I supposed to wait till September for Sedona’s story!!?!? My mind is racing with possibilities. I NEED her next book!
I received an arc of this book in return for an honest review.
I read and arc for this book. It was amazing! Everything I was hoping and more. Kingston and Stella are such a great couple. Their chemistry is off the charts. Piper Rayne does it again with another awesome book! I am mad about the cliffhanger at the end! I can’t wait for Sedona’s book!
Oh lordie we are getting so close to the end of this series. I think the Bailey’s will go down as one of my most favorite family series ever.
Kingston and Stella’s story is much like Colton and Juno’s. Two people who have a next level connection but one party just doesn’t want to go there.
I loved Kingston. We’ve gotten to know all the Bailey’s pretty well except for Kingston and Sedona. Kingston always appeared to hold himself back from his family in the other books so I wasn’t really sure what kind of person he was going to be. Turns out he is amazing! This is definitely a slow burn as Stella gives a pretty good fight ( Crazy girl) but it was nice to get all the background and get The whole story.
One more Bailey left to go and I have so many questions with that ending. I have a theory though and I definitely think Sedona and Jamison are going to end this series in a great way.
** I was provided with an advanced readers copy of this book in exchange for my fair and honest review **
With a sensitivity that seems almost ethereal and humor that never quits, Rayne breaks down barriers. Kingston and Stella give emotions the ultimate beating, yet hope refuses to let love die. Winning My Best Friend’s Girl is a tale of healing. Smothered by heartache and smoldering with heat, Rayne wrings the soul dry. Kingston and Stella are so much more than their outer differences and their inner turmoil. They are the meaning of love personified. A beautiful contraction as enticing as it is inspiring.
