Top 20 Amazon BestsellerRaquel and Harrison sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G.First comes love. Then comes marriage. Then comes a baby in the baby carriage. That’s how her brother used to sing it when we were kids—a simple ploy to get under my skin and make me stick my fist in his face—but man oh man, did he get the order wrong. One night of “kissing” in New York catapulted us straight to the … “kissing” in New York catapulted us straight to the pregnancy portion of the song—surprise!—and now I have to figure out how to carry out the whole melody in reverse.
A baby on the way first.
Then love and marriage?
It’s complicated on its best day.
But our situation is far more problematic than just a simple twist of nursery rhyme lyrics. Before our night together, Raquel Weaver was the best-known good girl in Hollywood—a twenty-nine-year-old innocent beauty whom the world adored and watched like a hawk.
Obviously, the consequences of that kind of reputation don’t just go away. Add in pregnancy hormones, the media, a fake fiancé, and a selfish manager, and you have the short list of my problems.
As a thirty-four-year-old, successful CFO of a multibillion-dollar media conglomerate, I thought I would be able to handle anything show business could throw my way, but I’m starting to think I might be in over my head.
Good thing I’m all in.
Winning Hollywood’s goodest girl is going to take everything I’ve got.

Harrison and Raquel are my new favorite Hollywood couple.
My first giggle happened in the intro, so I was prepared for this to be amazing and it was even more amazing than I expected. This was the first book to ever make me spark a few tears over a swoony moment.
These to went from 1 fiery one night to a delicious slow burn. The chemistry between them was palpable the second their eyes meet again. I loved how Harrison immediately started having Rocky’s best interest at heart, I think once she finally had someone in her corner she started on a journey of her own in finding her inner strength and I loved that I was right there as her strength continued to grow throughout the pages.
The perfect mix of laughter and feels with a heavy dose of swoon.
The moments with my favorite billionaires added to the amazingness in this book. As always, their ridiculous banter had me laughing out loud. I loved how they took Rocky into the group and gave her the fun she needed and the unconditional love that comes with being a part of that group.
Winning Hollywood’s Goodest Girl (WHGG) had me swooning and smiling all the way through! I had not read the incredible duo of Max Monroe before and I’m kicking myself for not before now. I’m so hit or miss on romcom nowadays and they just killed it!
WHGG’s heroine has always been the picture of purity in Hollywood. She’s 29 and still a virgin. A chance reunion with a chidhood friend has her letting loose for a one night stand.. the only fallout from this is she ends up pregnant. Determined to deal with the consequences herself, she keeps the news from the baby daddy (never expecting to talk to him again) until he sees the story break on the entertainment news channel. He immediately wants to accept responsibility and be a permanent fixture in his child’s life.
I’d like to welcome Harrison to my Top 5 Book Boyfriend list. He is incredible and I loved him so much! He’s calm, cool and collected and is the definition of the ideal boyfriend/husband. I honestly can’t think of a naive, virginal heroine that I’ve been able to stand but I loved Raquel (“Rocky”) in this story. She may be inexperienced and truly “Hollywood’s Goodest Girl” but she isn’t oblivious to the world around her. Harrison and Rocky’s chemistry and relationship is GOALS! I loved watching the two of them grow together and become a true partnership throughout the book.
If you love a Hollywood happy ever after with a ton of “awww” moments, read this now!
You know that little childhood rhyme, sitting in the tree K-i-s-s-i-n-g!
First comes love.
Then comes marriage.
Then comes baby in the baby carriage?
Yeah, well that’s the usual order of things, but for Raquel and Harrison, they sorta did things a bit differently, which honestly in this day and age, is not a big deal. What is a big deal is that before, Rachel was known all over the world for being Hollywood’s good girl, a nearly 30 year old virgin who wore a purity ring. Yep. Yet somehow, one little one night stand with a childhood “friend” and that status is out the window. Now it’s up to Harrison to step up and be the man he’s fully capable of being, the man Rocky deserves.
And damn did he step up and be one swoony af man who’s as sweet as a billionaire can be, sexier than he has the right to be, and the world’s best dad in training. And Rocky was the lucky woman on the receiving end of all that sweet, gorgeous man, and she deserved it because she’s just as awesome as Harrison with one tiny exception – when she let her obnoxious team run all over her without ever standing up for herself. Aside from that one little flaw, I loved her, and I loved this sweet, sexy story.
That was unexpected in the best possible way, but totally expected at the same time. After reading about Harrison, who Cap always referred to as “Whore-i-son” and seeing how snarky and cavalier he was towards love in prior novels, I just assumed he’d be another snarky jerk that Max Monroe would somehow redeem in our eyes. But honestly, Harrison is ADORABLE, likeable and totally loveable, and Cap had him pegged all wrong!
It’s a standalone romance, but it does bridge the gap between the Billionaire series and the Hollywood Series since we have the sister of the main character from one, and the friend of the characters from the other. Raquel and Harrison were childhood friends that lost touch, but when they run into each other years later, fate takes over!
Raquel, one of Hollywood’s biggest starlets, is a 30-year-old virgin. After a rainy run-in with Harrison, a billionaire sweetheart in NY city, the two have a steam one-night stand, and pretty soon Raquel’s baby bump can’t be ignored. And Harrison doesn’t wait to ignore it! He wants the love, the mess and the joy of their relationship.
What an absolute treat this book is. I’m telling you, I’m really mad at Cap for leading us down the wrong path and making us think that Harrison is anything other that the swoony sweetheart that he is.
AGAIN….Max Monroe have done it yet again! They have given us a book with all the feels, all the laughter, all the Awwws, all the villains, all our favorite characters (and some new ones) and all the love. How they do it every time. I haven’t a clue. They never fail to run out of ideas and good story plots. Their dialogue is always superb and the texting is hilarious. When you see the characters names you automatically smile.
I don’t do spoilers because it’s not fair to the authors. However, there is one scene that had me laughing and smiling so hard. I wish every man could read it. Let’s just say Harrison had more than just empathy for Raquel. He had a full on experience. It was worth every moment.
You will fall in love with Harrison. He is totally swoon worthy and you will be cheering for Rocky as we watch her come into her own.
As for the rest of all the characters my faces gos into full on good mood just reading their names, but Thatch, Cap, Kline, Wes… those four capture my heart every time. Not only do we get to see the fellas we get the women as well. We get all that and more. I don’t know if Max Monroe rubbed a magic genie lamp and wished for great stories every time but if they did they got their wish fulfilled. Again, I say every time!!!
“Harrison Hughes saw me before anyone else did, and somehow, when he looks at me now, it’s as if he can still see that girl he used to know underneath all the layers and layers of Hollywood.”
Max+Monroe can always be counted on for a fun, steamy, laugh-out-loud hilarious read that leaves you smiling. Their silly, sexy, sassy, over-the-top character are so entertainingsome of my favorite moments in Winning Hollywood’s Goodest Girl are the chapters and epilogues (that’s right, there’s more than one!) are when all these personalities get together! Harrison and Rocky’s story is a great addition to the Max+Monroe world and a great read for a quick escape from all the crazy in the world. So jump into the crazy world of childhood friends reunited, one-night-stand, surprise pregnancy, Hollywood starlet, billionaire romance!
I am a huge Max Monroe fan. We are reintroduced to Raquel and Harrison. They were childhood friends and have suddenly run in to each other on a rainy New York night at a corner bar. They soon reconnect and find themselves together for one night but that one night will connect their futures.
Raquel is a child star that is living the life set by her staff and people. She does not veer from the entertainment path and is always in the limelight so that leads her to be quite lonely in her love life her lack their of. She is also still a virgin and is ready to find the right guy and of course not tell him and let it happen. Well Hello Harrison !
Harrison is a very busy man and does no keep tabs on celebrities or popular movies so he has no clue that Raquel is a star . He only knows that she is his old friend that has grown in the most beautiful woman. One night and then she is gone .
When Harrison catches a glimpse of Rachel and her baby bump on TV he realizes that he will do what is necessary to be there for her in any way that she may need !
A beautiful starlet, a handsome man that won’t back down and the public eye watching ….thank heavens we have the billionaire book club on their side or who knows what could have gone wrong!!
I loved Harrison and his alpha ways with such a touch of caring and finesse to handle the lovely Rachel with kid gloves . She may have thought she was being looked after before but Harrison now takes it to a whole new level! Funny, Sexy, Emotional, Romantic and oh so wonderful!

Max Monroe delivers another hit with Winning Hollywood’s Goodest Girl. This is Book #2 in the Hollywood Series but it is a complete standalone with interconnected characters. This book is a childhood friends-to-lovers/billionaire/second-chance/fake fiance romance that ends with a HEA. There are secrets, lies, lots of laughs, super steamy scenes, and swoony moments.
We have already met Raquel in her brother, Luca’s book, Hollywood’s Baddest Boy. book. Raquel is a famous Hollywood actress. She has been acting since she was a child. Her acting isn’t the only thing she is known for, she is also known for being a virgin and proud of it. She is a bit sheltered, naive, and used to being told what to do. I liked Raquel but at times found her behavior a little immature and I wanted to shake some sense into her but I also understood that she is a product of growing up as a child star.
We have seen Harrison in the Billionaire’s Book Club poker nights. Harrison Hughes is a sexy, swoony billionaire. He is a bit of a loner. He doesn’t have time for relationships. He is happy with his life. I loved the way he was with Raquel. He had the patience of Job with her, he was so sweet and loving. Definitely a favorite hero of mine.
Harrison and Raquel (aka Rocky) were childhood friends who went their separate ways about twenty years ago. A chance meeting in a bar finds them together again. Harrison can’t believe this is the little girl who used to watch as he and her brother got into countless fights. He has no clue that she is a Hollywood star which is appealing to Raquel. They reminisce and find that they are themselves back at Harrison’s place after getting caught in a torrential downpour both feeling a little more than friendly. This one night changes everything. It sets both of their lives on an intertwined path that neither of them could have fathomed going down. What happened in the aftermath of their union is not something that can be ignored. Will they stay together or will her career and outside influences tear them apart?
Max Monroe never fails to deliver a hilarious, sexy, swoony, and emotional story with wonderful characters and witty banter. I loved revisiting characters from other books by Max Monroe. I think Cap will forever be a favorite. His sense of humor knows no bounds and I died laughing from his antics. Harrison is one of the sweetest, most patient, kind, and swoony heroes I have read in a while. The story was well-written and I was captured from start to finish. I recommend reading this book.
Temptation by heart is a Max Monroe specialty. If laughter truly is the best medicine, Winning Hollywood’s Goodest Girl has more than enough to go around. Like a warm hug waiting to comfort, Raquel and Harrison take you out of your problems and welcome you into theirs. The harder they pull, the deeper you fall. We all need a little sunshine in our world and Monroe makes sure that we get it.
3.5*
Ok I need to be honest…this was an OK read. It breaks my heart while I write this and maybe I’ve finally snapped under all things going around me… don’t get me wrong; this was still a feel-good, LOL Max Monroe book. But I kinda couldn’t connect with chemistry between Harrison and Raquel. I’ve been trying to find a reason for 3 days now and every time I came up empty.
Now to the things I did like;
Harrison was a great man. His devotion for his child and the Raquel was something to admire. I felt bad for Raquel and the way she felt torn between doing her job and what she really wanted. I got to say I loved the end because that lady had it coming.
I’m hoping by the time next book comes around I’ll be back to my loving MM self.

Dear Kline Brooks,
I am so sorry to have to break this to you but I have to take your crown away from being Max Monroe’s Swoonest Male Character. After meeting Harrison Hughes in Winning Hollywood’s Goodest Girl I just have to crown him Max Monroe’s Swoonest Male Character.
You had a good run but the way Harrison fawned over Raquel Weaver……swoon. Followed her, didn’t pressure her, took care of her, stood up for her, was there for her……swoon, swoon, swoon, swoon, and swoon. Even after the hysterical way he found out about her *a-hem* condition.
I loved how Harrison and Raquels story brought all the billionaires together along with Hollywood’s Baddest Boy. Thatch and Cap are on their A game with their funny lines. And yes, Kline, you were still the sweet calm and sensitive one they all look to but Harrison has that something extra. He is a mold that no man will ever fit.
So please forgive me Kline for handing over the title to Harrison. I don’t know if there can be another man to top him. My heart melted, ovaries exploded, and head swooned reading Harrison’s story.
P.S. there is now someone worse than Leslie in this story
P.P.S. Thatch you still are my favorite but you are no where near being as sweet and sensitive as Harrison Hughes.
What a sweet and funny rom-com read from Max Monroe. Even though this is a second book in the series and loosely connected to another series this book can most definitely be read as a stand alone. This secret baby romance between Harrison and Raquel, two people that knew each other as kids, is one that will make you laugh and smile throughout the story and even during the tough parts you are cheering on these two to make it through together. I loved Raquel’s strength and willingness to lean on Harrison and then Harrison and his group of Billionaire friends just keep you laughing out loud the entire time. What a great read during these tough times.
5 star review Winning Hollywood’s Goodest Girl by Max Monroe
Although the second book in the Hollywood series, this can definitely be read as a stand alone. Not only that but there were some appearances by a few of my favourites from the billionaire series (where we first came across our hero Harrison).
This time it is Raquel Weaver and Harrison Hughes story and as I have come to expect from Max Monroe, it was a story that drew me in and kept me captivated from the first to the last chapter. Raquel and Harrison have known each other since they were kids, although as sometimes happens, they lost track of one another for a while. However, when they re connect, they really connect.
As they reminisce over memories, the attraction between them sparks and things soon heat up.However fate often works in mysterious ways and when a surprise pregnancy is announced their lives will change in ways neither of them could have imagined.
Max Monroe’s stories are highly addictive, entertaining, funny and their writing seamless. I just know that I am in for an entertaining read that will often have me in tears of laughter.
This book was absolutely perfect. I loved it and was actually devastated to get to the the epilogue of this book. I wasn’t ready to end and I’m still not, but the best things must come to an end and this was one of the best books I’ve read.
I absolutely loved the guys relationships and how this book connected all of Max Monroe’s books into one heartwarming story that brings back the best memories. I sincerely hope this isn’t the last we see of the billionaires and their wives because that would be sad. I loved how they came together and we got to see all of them in one spot interacting and showing how good they are to each other.
I loved Harrison. He was my favorite out of the boys because he felt like a mix of the best personalities because he could be serious but he could also be as fun as Thatch and Cap. I loved how well he handled Rocky’s career and was willing to put her career above his even though his career was as important as hers. I loved how much Rocky grew and learned about herself as time went on and Harrison showed her how she should be treated.
Side note: Whore-i-son and Wheorgie would have been a great couple just because of their names. I love them with their actual partner but the names would have made them perfect.
Raquel and Harrison’s book might just be my favorite of the Billionaire boys series so far.
This books sends you on quite to rollercoaster of emotions, the, the banter is hilarious just like all other Max Monroe books. Their chemistry is amazing, throw in a secret pregnancy, a fake fiancé and one smoking hot baby daddy, what could possibly go wrong?
I loved catching up with past characters too, Thatcher, Wes and Luca. I love it when a book can be read as a standalone, but still actually be part of a group. Winning Hollywoods Goodest Girl all in all was amazing!!!
Winning Hollywood’s Goodest Girl was such a great read by Max Monroe. I loved it. It was book two in the series but is definitely a standalone. I loved loved Harrison and Raquel. Harrison was just so swoony and perfect. Raquel was sweet. Harrison and Rocky were just perfect for each other. I loved them together. Thatch and crew make alot of appearances so of course, it’s crazy and hilarious!!
If there’s one thing you’re guaranteed to get from a Max Monroe book is a laugh and let me put this way, these girls are basically the only authors I trust to write books with celebrities in them.
I’ve been a fan of theirs for years now, since I got back into reading and with each book their writing gets crisper and funnier. It’s a pleasure to read every book.
Harrison and Rocky were so much fun to read about. With cameo’s from characters in many other of these authors books to add to the hilarity.
I received an advance copy of this on behalf of the authors and my opinion is my own and hasn’t been influenced.
Harrison and Rocky were childhood friends who meet up again at a low point in each of their lives, have a one-night stand, and end up with a surprise pregnancy. This story is written in first person from their dual POV and goes back and forth from one night in August to present time. There are several enjoyable cameos from characters from previous books as they offer friendship and support to Harrison and Rocky.
Harrison is ah-mazing! When he finds out he created a baby (not from Rocky, mind you) he instantly tries to contact Rocky and moves across the country to be there for his baby and for her. He is incredibly supportive of her and her career and he puts up with some ridiculous Hollywood nonsense in the process. He is the dream baby daddy. I absolutely loved him. His patience was unreal.
Rocky has been in show business since she was a child. Unfortunately, her normal involves a team of people running her life without her input. I found her incredibly frustrating because she was so weak with her team. I kept waiting for her to grow a pair and be the boss I knew she could be. I was also disappointed that she did not contact Harrison when she found out she was pregnant. Instead, she just stuck her head in the sand and continued her life.
This book has both funny and steamy moments, but maybe not as many as what I would view as typical for this author team. I loved the way Harrison supports Rocky and helps her find her voice. On the negative side: there is an antagonist in the story that I hated with the fire of a thousand suns. My anger toward this character, the situation, and Rocky’s failure to deal with her/it sooner detracted from my enjoyment of the overall story. I felt like these two had enough to overcome without that particular subplot adding extra drama. Overall, I loved Harrison. He saved the story and made it an enjoyable read. The epilogues were perfect and provide closure and fun at the end.
Another hit for this writing duo! The last single dude in the pact finally gets the girl! Of course the gangs all there, so we get plenty of laughs and all the banter that comes with them. This story was a little different as far as the big break up and make up. The way it happened was neither of their doings. All cause by something else all together. Luckily they discovered the malicious acts before it was too late. Harrison (the Hero) is the epitome of a gentleman and totally swoony. His actions, his words. Everything you’d want in a man. Rocky (the Heroine) is an A-list actress who, until one night with Harrison, was known to the world as a virgin. It was part of her identity in Hollywood. Now, it might be what kills her career. She might be a star, but she doesn’t have the ego. She is a good person, who happens to be a little be lonely in her world, even if she’s surrounded by people all day long. Good thing Harrison is ready and willing to fill that empty space, and show her her strength. Plenty of laughs are had. There aren’t any major tears shed, but there are some scenes and actions that take place that will have your blood boil. While this can be read as a stand alone, you will recognize some familiar faces. It’s a fast paced story that doesn’t have any dull moments. It’s written in a way that goes back and forth in the timeline. (Chapters in the present day, then chapters from a few months past.) It alternates between POVs. The sexual content is pretty tame (compared to other romance novels)… not a focal point to the book. In general, this is a good, mostly fun book. Well written, east to read, and reads quickly.
Absolutely fabulous! I seriously fall in love every time I read a Max Monroe book and this time was no exception. Harrison was just perfect, he seriously couldn’t have been a better match for Raquel or as Harrison calls her Rocky. These two had an unconventional start to their relationship but it was perfect for these two.
I did not want to set this book down when I started to read, it was just too good! And MM know that we also need our Thatch, Kline, Cap etc fill and they definitely gave us that. And I loved all the bonus epilogues, I seriously wanted them to go on and on and on.
This is another winner of a book and you will not be sorry to read it!
