Top 20 Amazon BestsellerRaquel and Harrison sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G.First comes love. Then comes marriage. Then comes a baby in the baby carriage. That’s how her brother used to sing it when we were kids—a simple ploy to get under my skin and make me stick my fist in his face—but man oh man, did he get the order wrong. One night of “kissing” in New York catapulted us straight to the … “kissing” in New York catapulted us straight to the pregnancy portion of the song—surprise!—and now I have to figure out how to carry out the whole melody in reverse.
A baby on the way first.
Then love and marriage?
It’s complicated on its best day.
But our situation is far more problematic than just a simple twist of nursery rhyme lyrics. Before our night together, Raquel Weaver was the best-known good girl in Hollywood—a twenty-nine-year-old innocent beauty whom the world adored and watched like a hawk.
Obviously, the consequences of that kind of reputation don’t just go away. Add in pregnancy hormones, the media, a fake fiancé, and a selfish manager, and you have the short list of my problems.
As a thirty-four-year-old, successful CFO of a multibillion-dollar media conglomerate, I thought I would be able to handle anything show business could throw my way, but I’m starting to think I might be in over my head.
Good thing I’m all in.
Winning Hollywood’s goodest girl is going to take everything I’ve got.

We already heard about Raquel in her brother’s book and of course we know Harrison from the Billionaire’s Book Club Poker Nights. But this can be read as a standalone!
Raquel has been a famous Hollywood star for over 20 years now. And somehow she’s become the most famous virgin on the planet.
But she’s not anymore.
Because a few months ago, in a bar in New York, she met Harrison. The boy she remembers from joyful childhood days – before he left California when he was ten.
And after one night with him she’s not a virgin anymore.
But she’s still a very famous Hollywood star – which Harrison doesn’t know. He has no clue about celebrities and whatnots. That’s why it’s slightly shocking when he finds out he’s going to be a daddy on national breakfast television!
LET THE FUN TIMES BEGIN!
ADORABLE!!!
I loved this story!
It was such a sweet and funny and very emotional love story.
Raquel and Harrison are so perfect for each other, but it’s not as easy as it could be.
She’s famous and the paparazzi are following her around. And he’s the CFO for a billion-dollar company and he has no clue about any of that Hollywood stuff.
But he wants to be an amazing father to his kid!
It was funny, sweet, crazy Hollywoody. Crazy Thatch & Cap-y!
BUT …
I had a few tiny little problems with it though. Sometimes the writing seemed so weird. As if a 90 year old ? Professor or Lawyer had written it, instead of a young person in 2020. Weird sentences.
And then the storyline. Or rather some of the ways the story went. I HATED the whole fake fiancé thing. And I hated Raquel’s whole team. Why hasn’t she fired them all years ago? She’s almost 30 and has been in the business forever – she has to know things. She has to grow up. It was ridiculous. I would’ve fired them all the second I first witnessed her whole team in one room – I’m kinda proud of Harrison for not killing any of them! And then towards the end when that typical romance-story – and in my opinion not needed – ‘misunderstanding’ happens?! UGH! Wouldn’t have happened if we had just fired everyone sooner! I really hated the book in those moments. A lot. I almost DNF! I just can’t understand how two talented authors can’t come up with a smarter or more creative turn of events. I don’t want this stupid over-the-top / unnecessary drama thing in all my books. It’s been done too often. Get creative, or just don’t add any drama at all – it’s a rom-com – we want it all happy happy fun fun.
But, I still really loved the story. I loved Raquel and Harrison – and of course all the cameos of our all time favorite people like THATCH! And Kline and Cap et cetera. And I can’t wait to read the next book about the Country singer turned Hollywood starlet and her co-star!
How are none of Max Monroe’s books streaming their behinds off on Netflix yet??? The world is a weird and sad place!!
WINNING HOLLYWOOD’S GOODEST GIRL was a funny & adorable Hollywood-NYC-Baby love story! Hurry to your nearest amazon for your own Harrison – he’ll be sold out in no time!!!
I love a Max Monroe romantic comedy, especially when the hero is one of their core group of charming and lovable billionaires. Winning Hollywood’s Goodest Girl is Harrison Hughes’ romance. As the final single male of the group, Harrison has been along for the wild rides that were his friends’ romances, but pursuing a relationship in the unforgiving, unrelenting spotlight of Hollywood might be the wildest ride yet.
I absolutely loved Rocky and Harrison together. They had a sweet childhood history together, and it made for a naturally comfortable vibe between them that, as adults now, was also thick with attraction. Rocky’s life in the Hollywood spotlight is full of backstabbing, manipulation and deceit. Harrison rolled with every punch and plot twist thrown his way, and he became her rock in an irresistibly swoon-worthy way. He was solid, he was steady, he was confident, and he quickly became Rocky’s person. I melted right along with her at each display of his unwavering strength on her behalf and support of her.
A surprise-baby, fake fiancé and childhood friends-to-lovers romance complete with an underhanded movie-style villain make Winning Hollywood’s Goodest Girl a fun, flirty and fiery read. Witty banter and white-hot chemistry fuel the build-up of Rocky and Harrison’s relationship, and I couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen next in this unputdownable romantic comedy. Five smooches from me for Winning Hollywood’s Goodest Girl by Max Monroe!

What a Hollywood romance!!!! After not seeing each other since they were little kids. Harrison and Raquel (Rocky) bump into each other in a bar in New York City. 4 months later their story really begins when Harrison goes to LA to track Raquel down after seeing her on TV. Can’t say much more dont want to give spoilers. Harrison is one swoony male that is for sure and great to see Raquel get what she wants. LOVED seeing the whole gang in this book. You wont be disappointed reading this one.
Max Monroe never fails to entertain and when I pick up one of their stories I know I’m in for some laughs and fun. Winning Hollywood’s Goodest Girl was a little different than their usual stories but no less hilarious and enjoyable. I laughed repeatedly but I swooned something fierce because Harrison is perfectly delicious. This story is more of a slow burn as Harrison and Rocky find each other and I loved every minute of it. It wouldn’t be a Max Monroe book though without all of the hilarious hijinx by all of Harrison’s billionaire friends. I mean Thatch and Caplin always steal the show no matter how small their parts may be in it! I loved everything about this sweet, funny, adorable story. 5 stars
4.5 stars!
This was signature Max Monroe! All the feels, tons of laughter, emotion, passion and steam! After finishing Taming Hollywood’s Baddest Boy and the teasers dropped at the end I couldn’t wait to start Winning Hollywood’s Goodest Girl and I absolutely LOVED it.
Raquel Weaver is Luca’s Sister (from THBB). She is also in Hollywood’s limelight and has just found out she pregnant after a hookup with Harrison Hughes. Sexy billionaire from NYC. Raquel and Luca were thrust into acting from a young age. She hasn’t known any other life than Hollywood, cameras flashes and fame.
I adored everything about Harrison. He is the full package. Heart of gold, wealthy and sexy. From the moment he finds out he is going to be a Dad he drops everything in New York and moves to California to be close to the Raquel and the baby. Total SWOON!
I freaking loved this book. Harrison starts off as Raquel’s baby daddy but soon things heat up and I could not get enough of these two and watching them fall for each other. So many sweet swoony moments.
Raquel’s team drove me crazy. Her assistant was awful to her and I wished she would have stood up to them sooner. She deserved so much better.
Cap and Thatch are back in this one and no matter how much I get of these characters they continue with their hilarious banter and ridiculous antics! We see a ton of other cameos from the billionaire series too. Loved their appearances.
Max Monroe have written another hit with Winning Hollywood’s Goodest Girl and I highly recommend it and cannot wait for more in the series to come!
@authormaxmonroe has done it again! Another amazing, comedic hit! I laughed sooo, so much while reading this book. At one point I woke my toddler up because I was laughing so hard. At another, I laughed so hard I almost peed myself (I blame the beautiful journey of pregnancy and post pregnancy on that one). It was so good to have the gang back together again all in one book! I’ve fluffing missed Thatch’s cameos in everyone else’s stories.
Let’s talk about our lead man, Harrison Hughes. Even though he’s been more of a side character in the Max Monroe Billionaire world, he may be my new favorite Max Monroe book boyfriend. #sorrynotsorrythatch Not only is he rich, tall, and gorgeous, he drops everything to be the most perfect baby daddy in the world. Can you say swoon worthy or what!? And, I’ll admit at first I wasn’t so sure about Raquel Weaver, but the more the story went on, the more she grew on me. Pregnancy does some crazy things to emotions and hormones, so I got over my early misgivings pretty easily and found myself agreeing with a lot of her choices. I really enjoyed seeing their dynamic and watching how they figured out what life would mean for one another and their surprise bundle.
This book also gave me so much angst though. And not because of some emotional roller coaster, but because I hated one of the characters so much. That’s right, I said it. I hate one of Max Monroe’s characters. #yolo But really, once you read this book, I guarantee you’ll hate them just as much as me.
So if you’re wanting a great read, with lots of drama and comedy, not to mention all our favorite hot billionaires, then THIS is the book for you. Read it and thank me later.
I love being back in Max Monroe’s crazy world. This was another fun and hilarious story in their Hollywood Series. Harrison was completely swoon-worthy. His affection for Raquel and taking immediate responsibility for their surprise pregnancy warmed my heart. Also, what’s not to love about is protective tendencies toward Raquel. Raquel is sweet and lovely, although I really wanted her to put her foot down with the issues she faced with her management team a lot earlier in the story.
The Billionaire gang is back as well and my second favorite thing about this book (first being Harrison). There is always a certain amount of mayhem when you get the Billionaires and their wives together. The advice the guys give Harrison about taking care of your pregnant women had had me giggling. The way the guys and their wives support Raquel without any hesitation makes me long to be a member of their club.
So I loved Taming Hollywood’s Baddest Boy- Luca & Billie
then I read and loved Hate the Player- Birdie & Andrew
and realized this book fell in the middle.
Raquel Weaver grew up on the screen with her brother as a child star. She is still America’s sweet heart a 30 yr old virgin that seems to be everyone’s business, like everything else.
When she runs off one rainy night looking for a reprieve she runs into Harrison Hughes, they were close until one day he moved away. It has been 20 years since they have seen each other.
One night together and both of their worlds are knocked for a loop.
This is a fun, funny, sexy amazing story. Fabulous

Max Monroe romantic comedies are the BEST, and one of their recent releases, Winning Hollywood’s Goodest Girl, was AH-MAZING in every sense of the word!
Gah, I loved, loved, LOVED Harrison and Raquel’s incredibly sweet, sexy, swoon-worthy, and hilarious story. It made me laugh, smile, and swoon my heart out, and captivated me from start to finish. I loved the storyline, I loved the characters (with the exception of a few), and I loved Max Monroe’s signature humor and wit. Harrison and Raquel were a match made in heaven, and I adored them with all my heart. They completely exceeded my expectations and were everything I wanted in a leading hero and heroine. I loved Harrison and Raquel’s unforgettable and extremely swoon-worthy love story, and couldn’t have been happier with the outcome.
Winning Hollywood’s Goodest Girl was phenomenal in every way, and I can’t wait to devour Max Monroe’s latest romcom, Hate the Player!
I just love this series! Love getting Rocky’s story and cannot wait for Hollywood 3! The reunion with Luca at the end was so sweet. I am glad Harrison got his turn and LOVED the Billionaire Bad Boys tie in – they are a hoot! We had to wait so long to meet Mufasa, but it was such a good slow burn…made it more special 😉
Max and Monroe did it again! This book is hilarious and adorable, filled with sassy dialogue, a swoony hero, a sweet heroine, lies deceit and backstabbing (gotta keep it interesting!) and of course an HEA.
Definitely a must summer read.
5 stars and an indoors beach picnic.
Is there anything more swoony than Harrison Hughes?
Oh my gosh, this man is the most amazing book boyfriend I’ve read in quite a while! Harrison is the epitome of the good guy. He’s sexy, charming, and easy-going, which is why Rocky finds him absolutely irresistible. And he’ll hook you too. He has an uplifting spirit, a great personality, and is just dirty enough to make you fall head over heels. Harrison will definitely invoke those aforementioned swoony feelings.
I really liked Rocky from the beginning. She has this fun, playful, and sexy personality, even if it gets buried under her carefully crafted Hollywood image. Thanks to Harrison’s confidence-boosting personality, I loved watching Rocky regain her voice and begin to stand up for herself.
I loved this second-chance love story! From the first time they reconnect to the very last page of their story, you can feel the chemistry between Harrison and Rocky. They’re good for each other and bring joy to each other’s lives that they didn’t realize they were missing before. Max Monroe may be known for plenty of laughs but this book is also packed with ALL the feels. This is one of my favorites yet from this duo. I highly recommend it.
This book is funny, and sweet and all the things a good romance book should be. I really enjoyed it!
The perfect storm only happens once.
I love this series. These group of guys and their wives are so real, that I swear if I was in New York, I could actually bump into them.
Harrison Hughes, has just buried his father and when he happens to stop into a bar, he finds Roquel Weaver, aka Rocky, a childhood friend there.
They have a great time reminiscing and catching up after they both had a stressful day.
They haven’t seen each other since he was ten and his parents moved him from California to New York.
Raquel, is a Hollywood child star who has grown up in the lime light. She is known for her virginity and she’s tired of it.
Harrison, doesn’t follow Hollywood stars and has no idea how famous she is.
When she decides to hookup with Harrison for one night, little did she know she would become pregnant with his child.
This is a great story of how when you weren’t looking, you find the love of your life.
Harrison and Rocky are reunited in an NYC bar after they both have horrible days. They find themselves back at Harrison’s apartment and the sparks are flying. Funny thing is that Harrison has no idea that Rocky (aka Raquel) is one of Hollywood’s biggest stars – she’s known for being pure, untouched a virgin, and Rocky doesn’t share this information with Harrison either.
Well – a few months later – low and behold – she’s pregnant and the fun continues.
As always Max Monroe’s comedic writing is on point and had me laughing out loud. As always the one-liners and the appearance of the Billionaire Book Club (Harrison is a member) members is always good for a laugh or two or twenty!
The transformation that we see happen with the friendship and personal changes we see with these characters were glorious to watch but it wasn’t all fun and games, I did shed a few tears during their journey – some were from laughing but some were from sadness. It’s a testament to good writing when an author(s) can take you from one extreme to the next and Max Monroe continues to have the ability to do this with ease!
Another great rom-com by Max Monroe!
**3.5**
Raquel Weaver is the Hollywood starlet that her team keeps hyping as the purest 29 year old star there is. Purity ring and all. Until she has a disastrous night and just needs an escape from her Hollywood reality. So she heads to the closest bar that she can find and runs into an old childhood friend, Harrison Hughes. Harrison was raised in a house where TV, movies and Hollywood was drivel and no one had time for that. So when he runs in to Raquel aka Rocky he has no idea that she is a famous actress. They just spend the night catching up and having fun. Something that Rocky doesn’t get to do at all. They end up having so much fun that Rocky leaves her purity ring behind and goes home with another souvenir from their night together. A souvenir that Harrison accidentally found out about on the news when the tabloids were commenting on Rocky’s 4 month baby bump.
Harrison is ah-freaking-mazing. I absolutely loved him to pieces. I loved how even though he was panicking about the pregnancy he never once wavered and questioned Rocky. He stepped up immediately and wanted to be a father. I loved that so hard. This book had me laughing throughout the entire book – even the chapters where the characters were going through their conflict and it was supposed to be sad – there were tears and laughter. I was exactly what my soul needed. But it was also extremely frustrating. Rocky would show glimpses of a backbone and then it would just disappear. I hated how she kept saying she needed to take control but she never really did. Heidi was a see you next Tuesday and I wanted to throat punch her so hard. And another frustrating aspect was I would have loved to see the confrontation between Rocky and Heidi but there wasn’t one which goes to show how weak Rocky is – she just didn’t want to do it. Overall it was a funny and enjoyable read. It was my first by Max Monroe but it will not be my last. I will be adding their books to my rotation for sure.
You cannot go wrong with Max Monroe!

Raquel (Rocky) is a famous, virginal, actress. America’s sweetheart. But sometimes the game and expectations become too much. Escaping for a bit, she stumbles across Harrison; an old family friend. One she hasn’t seen since he moved away when they were kids.
Harrison (Harry) has no idea who Rocky is outside their old friendship. But one night leads to more. He found out from a televised news scroll. But he is determined to be there for her and heads to California.
Will they be able to make things work?
I really loved the premise of this but some parts seemed to drag and I didn’t necessarily like how Rocky had no back bone against her team… They seemed like a bunch of bullies. Overall, the story was decent.

Why, oh why haven’t I read more of Max Monroe? When I saw the signup for this one, I jumped on it. Now, I’ve got a lot of books to catch up on because these two talented writers are definitely worth reading.
Raquel and Harrison knew each other as children until he moved away at the age of ten. Now, twenty years later, they meet up again in a NYC bar. After a hot and steamy one night, they both go about their lives. While eating breakfast a few months later, Harrison learns she’s not only one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, but that he’s also going to be a father because the paparazzi stalking her are talking about her impressive baby bump. The bump that has everyone in an uproar because not only is she Hollywood’s biggest star, she’s also the twenty-nine year old virgin that was saving herself for marriage. Ooops!
I enjoyed everything about this story, with the exception of Raquel’s management team. They can eff off right now. Seriously, how has she not fired them all lol? This romcom had me in tears I was laughing so much, but it also brought out the emotional tears as well. I know I’ve read a great story when I feel everything along with the characters. Great book!

You can’t go wrong with a book by Max Monroe. They write hilarious stories that will grip you. I loved Harrison so much. Be prepared to swoon a lot with him. He’s made of book book boyfriend material. I wish I could find myself a Harrison. This book had me hooked right from the beginning. I laughed a ton through out the whole book. It also has plenty of heart and feels. When the guys get together hilarity ensues especially Cap. I liked seeing cameos from those characters. There is a few characters, but one in particular that I wanted karma to visit. This is a must read! You’ll have a heard time putting this book down.
