Wings on Fire is the complete collection of three novellas, telling the story about a guardian Angel, Daniel, and his accident-prone charge, Kerry. It starts off with her in hospital, and Daniel lamenting to himself that he hasn’t done a good job of keeping her safe.
This is an easy read, with no major angst, although there is plenty of drama. The characters are well-rounded, and mostly believable. This is a story, that although it has a contemporary setting, you will need to suspend any disbelief until you’ve finished it. It was a smooth read, with very good pacing. I am glad that I read this as a complete collection though, as I’m not too good with novellas!
For a quick and easy read, then I can definitely recommend this book.

Wings on Fire by Ann Omasta is a very creative romance involving a mere mortal and her guardian angel. Ms. Omasta has incorporated her love of Newfoundland dogs, romance and paranormal fiction into this story.
The plot is well paced, and for the most part the story is a sweet romance. The story is original and the writing quality is solid. I don’t’ know that I’m sold on the idea of a romance with an angel, but I do enjoy the author’s writing. I loved her inclusion of a local crime to provide more story tension and drama. The story ending was “ah-shucks” sweet and satisfying.

Wings on Fire ~ Falling, Blazing and Soaring (Complete Collection) was a great read by Ann Omasta. Daniel has been tasked with keeping Kerry safe. It is a task that isn’t very easy at times. Daniel is Kerry’s guardian angel and he’s tempted to reveal herself to him even though it will have dire consequences for her. I loved reading Daniel and Kerry’s story and can’t wait to read more by Ann Omasta.
I loved the idea of having all of Ann Omasta’s complete Wings On Fire series all together in one place. This one’s a bit of suspense and a lot of romance wrapped into three parts.
In all of his forms, the angel Daniel is a sympathetic and compelling character you can’t help but like and the sweet, vulnerable Kerry is the ultimate romance heroine; strong and perky but badly in need of a white knight … or in this case, a guardian angel.
The framing story with it’s ruthless villains, violence and close calls will keep you guessing through until the last bit of the book.
Exactly the kind of good, solid suspense/romance I’ve come to expect of this author.
I’m so glad I go this complete set! I’m sure the cliffhangers would have killed me if I had to wait for the next to come out. I really enjoyed this book and the thrill of a forbidden love is always fun. This book has the perfect ending so I couldn’t be more pleased. Narration was done very well.
PN romance with an interesting plot, storyline.
I have to admit I had my doubts at the beginning. Why would anyone, especially a guardian angel subject someone to what he did, (won’t tell, no spoilers), but after listening on, by the way Melanie Taylor narrator does an excellent job, sorry got off track.
I have to say the plot twists my doubt fades to amazed, satisfied, happy HEA.
Thank you Ann Omasta for gifting me this audible book for a fair and honest review.
First let me state, I received an Advance Reader Copy, (ARC), but this in no way influences my review. I always leave an honest review.
OK, to be honest as the story progressed I wasn’t too sure I liked it. I mean, the writing & imagination are Gr8, but it felt too sweet. (Yeah, yeah I know). I’m glad I got to read it all and not separately, because I don’t like cliffhangers. I like Kerry. For being so down on herself, she’s an awesome strong woman. I didn’t like her BF, Trent. He wasn’t like I’d want my friend to be like, so condescending & such. I loved Daniel, but who wouldn’t, he’s an angel. This story made me laugh & cry. I recommend this read. 5 Thumbs up.
I absolutely loved this collection! HEA’s all around!! And I am not sure 5 stars is even enough for this crazy, action packed love fest.
I was gifted an ARC in return of an honest review.
A cute, quick read. Left me wishing that there was more character development and more interaction (romance) between Daniel & Kerry.
