Four lost dragon guards. Three choices. Two betrayals and one secret… The three guards, who she knows it’s forbidden to love, are doing everything to make sure they win her heart…
So, what could go wrong?
With dreams of her betrayer literally haunting her, and the dangers of earth becoming a problem no one can protect her from, everything seems lost when it’s dangerous to be.
The curse must fall, like fire for ice, betrayal and death must be the price…
18+ reverse harem with possible triggers.

WoF picks up right after WoI. I agree this book does seem like a filler, uh filter, uh whatever, in my opinion, there was some unnecessary, drawn out details; hence my meh attitude toward this book, meaning I liked it, but not as much as the first book. For instance, they mentioned who and what but not the how since the who wasn’t even apart of this book because of the different planet thing. Nonetheless, I still like this book and can’t wait for WoS!
So Good!!!
So much has happened and the craziness of trying to get it all back with so much loss. Ugh!?! On to the next! #HappyReading
I’m so hooked on this series. Isola finally gets her memories back but the challenge will be to get Elias, Dagan and Korbin’s back and return to Dragca and get her revenge. We see more of Melody and learn who’s side Thorne is truly on. I can’t wait to see what happens.
Though Isola regains her memories of her real life, she has to work at getting the memories of her dear guards back so they can help her return home and regain the throne. Little more steam, little more action in this book compared to the first. It was nice to see slightly different sides of all the characters we met from the first book, as they navigate their falsified lives, yet all still connected by Fate and design.
The series still hasn’t lost its fire, and I’m looking forward to continuing the series.
Great follow-up to Book 1 in this sequel to Wings of Ice by G Bailey. I think I fell more for the 3 guys in this one, but definitely missed #4, hope we get more from him as he rekindles his relationship with Issy.
Issy has a lot of work in front of her after the twists at the end of Wings of Ice. She has to navigate being back on Earth with her guard, but they don’t remember who they are and they are blocked from their dragons. Issy has to get them to remember so they can go win the throne back from the baddies (no I am not giving it away what happened, you will just have to read). We do get to learn more about the evil women who are destroying Dragca while Issy is on Earth, more pieces to the bigger overall puzzle.
I liked getting to see little windows into the guys without the stress of the Dragon Guard living over their heads. I thought Corbin and Elias were adorable and I want more of them. Still like Dagan, I just am waiting for him to get his time in the spotlight. His reaction to finding out Issy is a dragon was pretty spot on though, most realistic response haha. I definitely would love to be Issy though haha.
I liked how book 2 ended with the super twist yet again and time running out for one of Issy’s loves. I instantly got book 3 on audio so I could continue the love of this series. Getting serious for a second….I am dying for 4 and 5, I need them on audio like ASAP!!
Narration again got 2 thumbs up from me! I have to keep reminding myself Lauren is doing the males in her chapters because she does a great job changing it to be more manly/gruff and she doesnt sound like her normal Issy voice. I love how she draws out Elias’s speech as another piece of positive feedback! I wish we got more male POVs so we could hear more Kale. Having Lauren talk a lot didnt bother me one bit. She does a great job immersing herself in the role and doing the inflections really well.
5/5 overall from me, another win for G Bailey!!
This one made more questions than answers.
It was kind of boring for most the book while Isola and her guards are on Earth. It finally started to get good at the end. But of course it’s got to stop with the ending.
Thorne is still on my shit list and he’s really stupid when it comes to his mother. If he would stop and look he would see what an evil bitch she is.
Going to be reading the third book. I was going to pause this series so I could finish Blizzard but I can’t. Too many questions and no answers.
Great addition to this series! We catch up with Isola as she lives a human again after having her mind wiped as punishment for book one. She does notice anything wrong until three hot new guys show up at school and strange things start happening. It becomes imperative for her to jog the guys memories in order to have chance to save the day but can she do it before they all fall in love with each other? Only she remembers how forbidden it is and what they have to give up if they do. I can admit that it takes a little bit for the book to get going but once it does it really takes off keeping you hooked until you turn the last page. If you like dragons and slow burn RH novels then you should really try this book/series. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.
Isola is back on Earth with 3 of her guys who have been given false memories and forgotten everything they knew. Issy has to get them to remember. Meanwhile, we learn more about Thorne and why he made his choice. I can’t wait to see how they all get thei happen ending! Hopefully book 3 is out soon!
PS – I do hope we find out what was going on with Hailee and her dad
