When single mother, Annie Malone, purchases a quirky Main Street café on Heron Island, she thinks she’s finally turned her dream of opening her own restaurant into a reality. Hearing rumors that a developer is about to build a five-star resort on the sleepy Chesapeake Bay island, she plans to transform the café into a premier upscale bistro. But Navy SEAL, Will Dozier, has no intention of selling … selling his grandparents’ property to a developer. Back on Heron Island for the first time in ten years and secretly struggling with PTSD, Will decides that a fling with the new girl is the perfect way to help him “get his head straight.” The last thing Will expects is to fall in love… with his hometown and with Annie. But Will’s life and career are in San Diego with the SEALs. Can Annie’s love and the healing magic of the island be enough to convince him to stay?

I really enjoyed it so much! I have already read the next one and started the third!! Keep them coming!!
Quick, satisfying read.
Easy, enjoyable read!! I love happy endings.
It was cute predictable fun to read chick lit that also addressed several important social issues including school shootings, slimey realitors, PTSD, and single parenting
I enjoyed this book, it’s a good vacation story, and a quick read. I liked the characters.
I really enjoyed the characters in this book. Their emotions and their responses to the struggles and issues in their lives were very realistic. The plot line was incredibly true to the current events happening in our world.
Wish the story continued
This book was great. I will definitely get the others in the series. Especially liked the sensitive depiction of veterans and what they are handling.
The author creates a pleasant atmosphere and follows through on the meaning of the creating of hand made wind chimes throughout the novel, lending coherence.
I really enjoyed this book.
Excellent book. Lots of twist and turns.
I thought the under lying social statement combined with a sweet romance made this a very good read.
I really enjoyed this book and the other two in the Wind Chime series. I hope there will be more to come. I loved the characters and the setting for the books.
Light but fun. It was an enjoyable read.
I loved it so much , I went ahead and bought the other 2 books in the trilogy .
great story line with characters that draw you in.
I will read this again….
A wonderfully well-written novel with current topics which touched me deeply from an author who has a clear understanding of how trauma affects those we love, those we know and those who try to hide behind the trauma. Highly recommended.
I liked this book so much I bought the other wind chime books. Well developed characters.
I loved reading this book. It really held your interest.
