When single mother, Annie Malone, purchases a quirky Main Street café on Heron Island, she thinks she’s finally turned her dream of opening her own restaurant into a reality. Hearing rumors that a developer is about to build a five-star resort on the sleepy Chesapeake Bay island, she plans to transform the café into a premier upscale bistro. But Navy SEAL, Will Dozier, has no intention of selling … selling his grandparents’ property to a developer. Good book for light entertaining reading!!
Absolutely loved this book. Have moved on to the next in series..
I have never read anything like this before. I highly recommend it as I think it’s important story. With all the school shootings in the news, I never thought about the aftermath a child is left with. I knew this was a fictional story, but I was moved by it.
This book was a nice surprise. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would read more by this author. Love the setting the author created and fell in love with the people there. Would love to find Heron Island and live there.
The author kept you wanting to keep turning the pages. It addressed several real issues in today’s world. Would read another book of hers
A delightful read…

Wonderful book! Great characters, such a warm heartfelt story

An easy to read glimpse at how PTSD touches more than veterans and the lives it entangles. I enjoyed the characters and the banter. I will look for the sequel.
This love story is full of present day issues!
Love it!
This was a wonderful story from beginning to end. I really enjoyed it.
A pleasurable read… enjoyed it thoroughy
Moss did an excellent job weaving her characters’ background into this story, thus making a strong and realistic conflict.
Read this when I judt wanted a light. Easy read. Enjoyed it.
A great read. I would recommend it to younger readers too.
This was a good story. I thought the story line was current. We all need a deeper appreciation of what our service men have done for us, up to the permanent changes it makes in their lives, both mentally and physically. As women readers, we all want to see the heroine persevere through a bad situation and be happy again. The only thing I can …
