The Games are Forever! It’s one thing to Qualify and Compete… planet of Atlantis.
But Atlantis is a strange new world with higher gravity and a blazing white sun, where nothing is as expected. The new arrivals from Earth will now belong to the majority class of non-citizens who face a lifetime of hard work and limited rights.
To make matters worse, Gwen’s rare and powerful talent, her Logos voice, is viewed as a potential weapon to be exploited by the Imperator, as well as a threat to the Kassiopei Imperial Dynasty and its uncompromising control over the people of Atlantis.
A last-minute heartbreak prior to arrival turns to joy, when Gwen receives a declaration of love from an unexpected source. The Wedding date is set, but before she can be joined with her true love, she is forced to compete in the brutal and deadly Games of the Atlantis Grail to save herself, her family, friends, and everything she cares about. Once again, her intelligence, quick thinking skills, resilience, and creativity are challenged to the breaking point.
The Games are monumental, intricate, lethal . . . and the Games are Forever.
This time Gwen must fight and figure her way through the most difficult and sophisticated contest she has ever faced. Terrifying Ordeals and impossible Challenges, ruthless skilled Competitors, vicious secret assassins, and dubious teammates she must work with but cannot trust, are just the beginning. . . .
Meanwhile, as the Games rage, the fate of two worlds is at stake as a new alien threat looms over Earth and Atlantis.
But Gwen Lark has a secret weapon of her own. It’s not her Logos voice and its untapped power to control orichalcum technology and perpetuate change.
It is Gwen herself.
WIN is the third book in The Atlantis Grail series.

It takes Gwen’s fight for survival to a whole new level.
At first, I thought the games in this book were going to be too much like the games in “Hunger Games”. But then they weren’t. My goodness, what an imagination Vera Nazarian has!!!! My reading time is usually just before bedtime to help me relax to go to sleep. I found myself reading this book at every spare moment of the day besides at night. Also at first, I thought this book was probably too long. It is not!!! I love Gwen and her friends. Although I was disappointed in Aeson a lot of the time. I hope in book four he becomes the hero Gwen deserves. So looking forward to “Survive” and I am glad it is over 1000 pages!!! Love love love this series!!!
Normally, book series that start with long books tend to get much shorter as they progress. Apparently no one ever bothered to tell Vera Nazarian about this. Win comes out roughly 930 pages! A big part of me wanted to walk away from it..that’s just way too long. However, I was invested in the characters and–though I had a general idea how it was going to come out–I had to see how it all came together.
And it was well worth it. Despite the violence and the incongruous fanaticism the Atlantean people have with these ridiculous and bloody games, this book is amazing. I’d almost say it’s the best of the series, but every book is equally excellent on its own merits. You will fall more in love with Gwen, the lead character and hero (heroine, if you will) of the series, as she refuses to give up or accept defeat.
I went into this book wondering how Nazarian was going to come up with these four different stages of competition in any thorough manner, but she does not disappoint. The detail and well though out scenarios are stunning and gripping. More interesting characters are introduced, and old favorites reappear, and all are likeable and compelling. The only character I didn’t like was the Imperator, who I really just wanted to do away with constantly.
Besides the recurring question of why this supposedly evolved and morally superior race of humans would so love these stupid games–and, worse, the gratuitous violence that ensues–the only real criticism of the book and series is the lack of development of the various nations on the planet and how they relate to each other–specifically what the Imperator has to do with the rest of the nations on Atlantis.
Overall, a thrilling read, well worth the time, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Now…can I get through the next book, which is even LONGER?
By far an addicting series and now one of my favorites! Always leaving you on edge and wanting to know what happens next as the main character fights to stay alive. I didn’t want it to end and am very excited to read what happens in the next book, Survive!!
Holy crap! I died a little bit when I finished this book. I am going to die a little more every day until Survive comes out. Thank you, Ms. Nazarian, for redeeming my faith in the young adult genre. Definitely recommending this series to everyone I know.
500 Amazon readers cannot be wrong when there are 5 BIG GOLD stars indicating excellence. This book is three of four that will finish the tale of Guinevere Lark as she travels from Earth to Atlantis to escape the planetwide destruction of her home. It is so well written that I, a senior citizen, is entranced. Lovely, well written tale.
This is the 3rd novel in the Atlantis Grail series, and it contains romance, young adults, action and adventure, and an ongoing mystery. With an extinction level comet approaching earth (Qualify) the citizens of Atlantis living far away from Earth, send a fleet of ships to rescue what portion of humanity they can. One problem…Only people that can survive the journey are teens. And only a small percentage of those can fit on the ships, so they must qualify. In the second novel, (Compete) the young people learn on the history of Atlantis, and compete for their eventual positions in life. Entwined in these stories is a blooming romance, together with one girl’s dream of becoming a true citizen of Atlantis. The 3rd story, Win, describes her attempts to win her citizenship through a series of deadly games competing for the Atlantis Grail. In this competition there are 10 possible winners who will be awarded their citizenship. The losers die in the competition. In addition, the entire play in the “games” is televised to the entire planet, and her play is complicated by her love for the planetary leaders son. A 4th book is to come, leaving almost all readers anxiously awaiting the next chapter. In my humble opinion this would make a wonderful motion picture series. Worth reading for anyone who enjoys science fiction romance action mysteries. Yes, any and all of these are great. Thanks to Author Vera Nazarian for one of the most entrancing series since Harry Potter!
One of the best series I’ve read in a long time. I love all her books! She is brilliant and really, the prices on her books are way too cheap.
Teen or adult, this author writes amazing stories. And sorry, but books like the Hunger Games don’t hold a candle to this series.
Love love love!
Loving this book! So tempting to abandon all commitments and just binge-read the whole series. Thanks for a great story!
This is such an optimistic book, with the main character convinced good can beat bad, even under appalling conditions. It may not be realistic, but is very refreshing and makes you feel good and hopeful at the end.
Wow. Just no words. I keep re reading and just crawl into it each time!
Loved this series. Wish there was a book 4… I keep checking.
“Win” is the third book in “The Atlantis Grail” series.
Gwen Lark becomes The Chosen Bride of Aeson, the heir of the Atlantida Royal House.
Her wedding gift from Aeson’s father is entry to the Atlantis Grail competition. While she originally thought to enter the games on her own because if she won, she could have her parents and her oldest brother rescued from Earth, now her own survival is at stake.
Every book in the series, “Qualify,” “Compete” and due later this year or early 2020, “Survival” are the stories of Gwen, her siblings, her fellow qualifiers and Aeson and his friends as they all work to resettle the Earth teenagers on their new home, the planet Atlantis.
Love this entire series
I am in love with this series!
If you make it past book 2 (I found it to be a bit too focused on teen romance for my liking), this book is a real treat. I read the whole thing in 3 days which is absurd when you look at the page count. I couldn’t stop reading this book, and loved every minute of it. This is a rare title I’ll keep on the shelf to read a second time.
The grail games were very well fleshed out, each portion of them were interesting for different reasons.
Another stunning addition to The Atlantis Grail series. One of the things I love about this series is that one book feeds *immediately* into the others with no elapsed time. Answers to some of the mysteries from Qualify and Compete are revealed but new ones are raised, and the book is loaded with Ms. Nazarian’s trademark “Wow! I did not see that coming!” moments. I won’t say too much for fear of spoilers, but Gwen goes through some of the best – and worst – days of her life and comes out on top, a stronger, smarter, more empathetic woman who is growing into the leadership role she was born for. If you haven’t started reading this series yet, what are you waiting for?
Like all the books in the series, WIN kept me glued to the book. It’s an outstanding story in every way.
Love this whole series. This is#3 and a continuation so be sure to read them in order! Breathlessly awaiting the 4th one now! Don’t miss it.
This book had a lot happening in it. No one was safe and the writer kept you guessing till the very end and even then things simply escalate with a new twist so you have to read the last book (Survive) to find out what happens to the heroine.
