The Games are Forever! It’s one thing to Qualify and Compete… planet of Atlantis.
But Atlantis is a strange new world with higher gravity and a blazing white sun, where nothing is as expected. The new arrivals from Earth will now belong to the majority class of non-citizens who face a lifetime of hard work and limited rights.
To make matters worse, Gwen’s rare and powerful talent, her Logos voice, is viewed as a potential weapon to be exploited by the Imperator, as well as a threat to the Kassiopei Imperial Dynasty and its uncompromising control over the people of Atlantis.
A last-minute heartbreak prior to arrival turns to joy, when Gwen receives a declaration of love from an unexpected source. The Wedding date is set, but before she can be joined with her true love, she is forced to compete in the brutal and deadly Games of the Atlantis Grail to save herself, her family, friends, and everything she cares about. Once again, her intelligence, quick thinking skills, resilience, and creativity are challenged to the breaking point.
The Games are monumental, intricate, lethal . . . and the Games are Forever.
This time Gwen must fight and figure her way through the most difficult and sophisticated contest she has ever faced. Terrifying Ordeals and impossible Challenges, ruthless skilled Competitors, vicious secret assassins, and dubious teammates she must work with but cannot trust, are just the beginning. . . .
Meanwhile, as the Games rage, the fate of two worlds is at stake as a new alien threat looms over Earth and Atlantis.
But Gwen Lark has a secret weapon of her own. It’s not her Logos voice and its untapped power to control orichalcum technology and perpetuate change.
It is Gwen herself.
WIN is the third book in The Atlantis Grail series.

Love this series! Gwen Lark is un-athletic, a nerd, who is crushing on her idol from her high school, then on her instructor/CP Aeson Kass as they travel to the planet of Atlantis. Gwen has to compete in the brutal Atlantis Games to become a citizen and earn the privileges that entails.
Atlantis Grail series is what Hunger Games tried to be. The story is rich with imaginative technology, conspiracy, love, laughter, intrigue, excitement, fear, humility, shame, dominance, determination, etc. Vera Nazarian does a masterful job of blending back story into the advancing plot to delivery my best reading experience in a decade. It combines ancient mythology with modern civilization (my favorite genre) with plot twists and action scenes that keep me on edge of seat. I cannot and yet I must wait for the final book in the series. Why is this book (series) not a movie? Better yet a TV series! Attention Hollywood! And by Hollywood I mean Steven Spielburg, Ron Howard, George Lucas. Make an offer to option before someone else does!
I found myself completely absorbed into the lives of the characters, and their plight. Some you love to hate, others you want to trip and fall, while still others you root for with every fiber of your being. This series is so gripping you forget to eat or sleep. you cannot put it down, and it haunts your waking hours until you get back into it This series is movie material, with no license needed to improve upon or change ANYTHING. I would love to re-visit this in the way I often re-visit Harry Potter and Marvel heroes!
I really enjoyed this book. It is the third in a series (I’m chomping at the bit for the fourth title–what happens next?!). The narrator’s adventures continue, this time far away from Earth. The challenges are creative and require the type of problem solving that our narrator excels in doing. I don’t want to give away a specific spoiler, but an early surprise adds an interesting twist to the plot. A good take away is the value of friendship and collaboration, even when competing–in this case, for one’s life, as in the second book in the series. Excellent writing, gripping story. As I’ve already written, I am looking forward to finding out what happens in the next book!
Wonderful book. Can hardly wait for the fourth book. Excellent writer. What an imagination.+++++
I love this series and usually after book one of a series I’m done. But Gwen Lark is an unlikely heroine, at least to herself, yet she prevails. So much is happening in the stories and the background for Atlantis itself is slowly revealed. Now I’m just waiting for the final book (4th) to finish the tale.
Good read! I will be reading the series!
IT WAS GOOD
I am enjoying this series. It has interesting characters, suspense and sparks the imagination. It is listed in the young adult category but the characters are growing with the series much as they did with Harry Potter. I am looking forward to the next installment.
Of the series, I enjoyed this one the least so far. The story was much more predictable and really it was an “updated” version of the 1st book.
That being said, the story was still gripping and the author put in enough twists to make it interesting. Unfortunately, it was not the end of the story. This book is very much a bridge book to book 4 (not yet available as I write this). I am hoping the story culminates in the next book. I also hope that the author does not use the same formula she has used in the last books again. She put in place some awesome teases, now I hope that she is able to pull it all together.
Wow! Unbelievable! Awesome! Fabulous! This book goes from the heights of “love conquers all” to the depths of despair to “win at all costs” to “morals, love, talent and endurance” all count. Gwen doesn’t have to compete in the Games after all; then she does have to compete after all; and what a competition! On to the next volume!
I loved all three books. Could not put them down, and that is rare for me. Can’t wait for the next and last book.
The world Vera created is very imaginative and detailed, which creates and Incredibly real world for the reader and allows the reader to become immersed within the story. The characters are complexed as is the writing. And book three Vera allows the love story to shine through, but it does not consume the main plot and said it is used as a plot tool to push the story along and brings more action and politics into play with in the story arc. You will not regret reading any of the series you will only regret the next book is not out yet.
I have only read the preview of the book but I would love to read and own the whole book.
This entire series of books have been real page turners. I have lost a lot of sleep because of this series. I can’t wait for the next book to come out.
