The sender of the invitation is Willa Silvester, who is reeling from the untimely death of her beloved husband and the reality that she must say goodbye to the small mountain town they founded together. Yet as Willa mourns her losses, an impossible question keeps staring her in the face: So now what?
Struggling to find the answer alone, fiercely independent Willa eventually calls a childhood friend who happens to be in her own world of hurt—and that’s where the idea sparks. They decide to host a weeklong interlude from life, and invite two other friends facing their own quandaries. Soon the four women converge at Willa’s Montana homestead, a place where they can learn from nature and one another as they contemplate their second acts together in the rugged wilderness of big sky country.

This is a deep thinking novel that may make the reader a little more introspective..
The best book I’ve read since using Kindle.
Wonderful story of the bonds that four women form over a week spent together looking at their lives and asking themselves “so now what?”
This is a great book about four women who come together to figure out where they’re going to go next with their lives. Each person has a different backstory and each has something they regret. At a turning point in their lives the four share a week in Montana. The characters are realistic and the writing—especially about nature—is wonderful. Books like this show how a good writer is able to hold your attention without a lot of unnecessary action (car chases and bullets).
Incredible writing
lovely and easy to read. Sad but uplifting.
Four women come together in rural Montana to figure out what’s next. A great story.
