From Ilona Andrews, #1 New York Times bestselling author, the thrilling conclusion to her Hidden Legacy series, as Nevada and Rogan grapple with a power beyond even their imagination… relationship. Yes, the billionaire Prime is helping her navigate the complex magical world in which she’s become a crucial player—and sometimes a pawn—but she also has to deal with his ex-fiancée, whose husband has disappeared, and whose damsel-in-distress act is wearing very, very thin.
Rogan faces his own challenges, too, as Nevada’s magical rank has made her a desirable match for other Primes. Controlling his immense powers is child’s play next to controlling his conflicting emotions. And now he and Nevada are confronted by a new threat within her own family. Can they face this together? Or is their world about to go up in smoke?

This series has a firm place in my Must-Reread folder. Nevada is my hero and I want to kick a** like just like her. Rogan is so swoony but there are no bones made about the war damage done to him. This book has depth beyond depths beyond depths. I highly recommend.
Excellent end to this part of the series arc. Great tension, intense scenes, and beautiful connection between all of the characters. What an amazing family (grandmom cracks me up with her tanks and tinkering) and the trial to become a House with the mathematical challenges was very entertaining. I look forward to starting the next arc…but can’t too soon because I’m spellbound by the action and won’t get anything else done, lol.
This book was a screamtastic edge of my seat, tingle my toes, oh so freaking good, stars in my eyes, chocolate mouse on my mind read. I lovingly fondled the pages day and night, never wanted to let them go.
Mad Rogan AKA Connor and Nevada Baylor are in my top of perfectly matched couples list. The banter, tension, and respect is a thing of beauty. This is a never easy, always worth it kind of coupling, tipped with many near death moments, and I love it. How can I not love a “bring it” attitude ? I love them both, total fan nut here.
The villains turned out to not be my most hated character. That was a client. A back stabbing I’m going to steal your man while using you type of woman. Her picture is on my imaginary dart board and I hit a bullseye- bam.
I adore the new creatures, people and powers, each fits so well into the world and builds up the story for future books. Oh Andrews can you hear my chanting “write, write, write, write…” So, there is a new creature that won my heart, it is amazing and rides well in the back of a truck. See where I’m going with this ? I drive a truck !
I already make apple pies regularly thanks to the Andrews now I’ll be making chocolate mouse too.
This book closes out the Hidden Legacy trilogy. Someone (perhaps their publisher) must have told Andrews they needed to up the sex component. There’s a whole lot of heat in this one, comparatively. It’s fun to read, but the dramatic otherworld scenes are what truly set this author apart from the crowd. Anyone can write steamy content. Not everyone can create believable alternative worlds.
Awesome book/series by husband and wife team, Ilona Andrews, who is always at the very top of the urban fantasy genre. A MUST read!
I love this series and this book. The characters and their unusual skills are so interesting and how they interact. Also, the plot is engrossing, there is plenty of action and of course it has the must have happy ending! I highly recommend this book and the series!
Wicked humor, non-stop action, characters (both good and bad, lead and secondary) to invest in, original, exciting storylines and absolutely phenomenal world-building. Did I leave anything out? If so, I’m sure they mastered it! Ilona Andrews keep on going above and beyond what you think they’re capable of, and I can’t wait to see what’s next! Sleepless nights are so overrated!!! 5/5
Loved this series – really hoping this isn’t the end of it. Loved it enough that I’ve already re-read this book a couple of times since it came out a week ago and have decided I need to re-read the whole series! Nevada is the perfect foil to ground Mad Rogan and keep him in line. She understands him and yet accepts his faults as well as his strengths. And he does the same for her. I truly hope to hear more about this couple.

Riveting. Unforgettable. Astronomical.
I don’t even know where to start in describing how much I LOVED this book and how OBSESSED I am with the series. The Andrews team never disappoint.
Wildfire is book three in the Hidden Legacy series and it’s mind-blowing. I’m hoping this isn’t the end of the series, because there is just SO much more I want to see and explore.
It’s a non-stop action-packed adventure that will drag you in. I seriously read this book in one day. Once I opened it. I could’t stop. I was hooked.
Rogan, Nevada, and the gang where all amazing. We go deeper into the Houses, learn more about Nevada and her family history, and the mystery on who wants to take down the current structure. We are spared no shortage on the action and developments. The writing flows and the detail into describing things is extraordinary. The romance between Rogan and Nevada takes on a whole new level with a few challenges to over come. These two see each other, truly see each other, and won’t hold the other back.
Last, that ending sentence. OMG!!! I think I figured out who Cesar is, but we don’t know for sure and we are not told. It’s a can you figure it out… I think I did.
Wildfire was monuments. I loved it. Can’t wait to own my own copy and hope we are treated to more in the Hidden Legacy series.

Love this series and the Baylor family. And this story was another good addition. It was so good I hardly know where to start. I don’t know where the authors get their ideas from but wow. Wow, to the world building, the depth of the characters, the depth of the plots and evil doers and also the created creatures and magic.
There are several issues going on in this story which kept me involved without overwhelming me. I really enjoyed the relationship between Rogan and Nevada. Also the fact that Rogan is trying to help Nevada make her own free choices without trying to pressure her into doing everything his way. He’s protecting her freedom of choice even if it’s almost killing him. His real desire to protect her all wrapped up, safe and sound far from anything that could hurt her. To say that their romance was a strong one is putting it mildly. Sure, they also butted heads but at the end of the day, it was them having each other’s backs. And any other part of each other’s body.
Victoria Tremaine is one of the Baylor’s grandmother’s and she is a Truthseeker just like Nevada. She’s also causing a major, dangerous threat to the family. By trying to force her and her family to be part of House Tremaine she’s pushed Nevada into a different path. Even though Nevada hasn’t wanted to register to establish a House Baylor, and be it’s Head of House but there really isn’t any other choice. There are risks if they register and go through the Trials but there are plenty of risks if they don’t.
The Baylor family has a moral code for their family business. Something that their father had run things by and it continues to this day. A moral code of sorts that they applied in their business. Victoria was ruthless without seeming to have any moral code at all. The three rules were:#1 When someone became a client, they stayed loyal to that client. #2 They try not to be anything illegal. And #3 At the end of the day they have to be able to look their reflection in the eye.
If you’re looking for a story with a lot of action and surprises, this book has it. Looking for a story with strong, interesting characters? This book has it. Along with strong female people as well? Yes, well except for Rogan’s ex-fiancee. Time for her to develop a backbone and Nevada is all in when it comes to helping her with that. Looking for a story that has a strong family connections? Yes, again.
By the time some of the Baylor family finally make it to the Trials, they had been through so much that it was ALMOST a cakewalk. It was a surprise though that even there, a twist or two is waiting.
I liked how the story ended although it left one more plot that hasn’t finished and a villain or two that needs to be exposed and overcome. Yay, that’s okay with me because it’s an opening for another story. I can hardly wait.

One more time, what is it with the MOST RIDICULOUS AND HORRENDOUS COVER? This is the worst photoshop work I have ever seen in my life and these books are SO GOOD! It makes me want to make a cover myself and change this to make this experience more worth it. Thank God I am a kindle reader, I wouldn’t buy these books for the cover, not even if Mad Rogan himself forced me to. Well…on a second thought…
Mad EFFING ROGAN is EVERYTHING. I am sorry, I will have to act like a desperate, stupid, teenage fangirl because I SIMPLY CANNOT with this man. The entire character selection in these books is outstanding. Every character has layers, they are all funny, intelligent, motivated, insightful and so real. I can picture all of them (they’re so real!!) while they coexist. Everything about Nevada’s family and her relationships is so organic, it flows so well.
I have no complaints about the plot, the characters, the pacing, the flow, everything is magnificent. The only reason this did not get a five start rating from me is because I need to start being mode diligent with my five-stars. I want to start saving them for mind-blowing books. Even though I am personally in love and obsessed with the Hidden Legacy series, I can see why this might not be everyone’s cup of tea.
Thrilling! Exciting! So creative and funny, heart-warming at times, sensual without being too smutty. This was such a huge adventure in one of my favorite styles – police/investigation romance. I could not put it down. As Jennifer Armentrout would say “this is a forget-your-homework, don’t-feed-your-kids, and quit-your-job one-sit read.” I finished it in a day because there was nothing else I’d rather do than to follow Nevada around, feeling so damn proud of how much she has grown already. There is nothing I would rather do than to sit down and re-read all of her witty, engaging and funny conversations with Rogan. There is nothing I would rather do than just have Rogan scenes again, and again, and again, and again.
“I finally understood why he was called Mad Rogan. It wasn’t because he was insane. It was because he drove you nuts with sheer frustration.” I JUST WANT TO SCREAM WITH HOW MUCH I LOVE ROGAN AND NEVADA. This sweet couple who wrote this series (how awesome is that? writing something with your significant other), they just get me. We have the same sense of humor, the same ideas of what right and wrong is, the same excitement around magic, powers and ferrets. This was SO MUCH fun and I can tell my 2021 will be FILLED with Ilona Andrews books, I cannot and will not stop reading their stuff.
Rogan and Nevada, both intriguing and intense characters, fighting a lot of conspiracy in some of the “big houses” in this fantasy world. The romance intensifies and their power is a big player in this one. I love their relationship but I also love the relationships between Nevada and her family. Definitely a great series but with a lot more steam that some others by Ilona Andrews.
I’ve been flying through this series and cannot get enough of Connor and Nevada! Their relationship grows stronger with each book as they take on more enemies. Jealousy looks good on these two as a few new characters are introduced. An ex-fiancé of Rogan’s and a new man willing to call forth on Nevada. Lookout Mad Rogan, you’ve got someone traipsing on your territory!
Great series, love Rogan and Nevada
Rogan ‘s ex fiancee, has come to Nevada for help. He husband has gone missing. Rogan steps up and offers protection to her and her children. It doesn’t take long for Nevada to become suspicious. The kidnappers want something that belonged to her mother.
Nevada ‘s paternal grandmother is determined to pull her granddaughter ‘s into her house. Petitioning to become their own house is the best way to to protect them all. She has Rogan ‘s backing.
Nevada ‘s investigation leads once again to the New Rome conspiracy. The city of Houston once more faces destruction.
Rogan and Nevada once again step up to save the city. They have Rogan’s team, Nevada ‘s family, House Harrison, as well as his ex and her brother in law.
A fun fast paced and steamy urban fantasy. Great epilogue. Ends in a cliffhanger. Many of the New Rome conspirators have been identified. Caesar is still a mystery.
Wow, this series just keeps delivering superb dialogue, intriguing characters and fantastic world building that just gets better and better. I love how well thought out the plot is, and the romance is fabulous.
Illona Andrews is the best
This series is full of magic. Dangerous ones at that. The scenes are vividly portrayed and some of them are pretty scary, but the witty banters and the humour take the weight off.
It’s the third and final part of Rogan and Nevada’s journey. And wow, it’s an adventure to remember. The pace and actions make for a real page turner. The romance blossoms, but the differences in their abilities could put a damper on any foreseeable union. Will they throw caution to the wind and follow their hearts or will they adhere to society’s expectations?
This series is thrilling. The danger and greed for power are cringe worthy, but the family interactions and the romance make it all worthwhile. Nevada becomes a force to be reckoned with and there is so much more to “mad” Rogan. He is my hero.
It’s taken me a while to read this series, but I was rewarded by being able to read the whole trilogy without having to wait for the next book to be released. Great series.
Great reading
Great Book. Good character and plot. You’ll want to read the whole series!
I absolutely love Rogan and Nevada as well as their band of family and friends. This book was absolutely filled with so much action, adventure, drama that I read and reread many of the scenes because it was so good. The humor added to this story enriched the whole experience. It pops up at some of the most inopportune times and is the perfect antidote when the story begins to feel too heavy.
Nevada’s siblings get into a lot of the action this time around as well as Sergeant Teddy who I’d been waiting to come into play since we first met him. There is such a wild, eclectic mixture of characters within not only this book, but the whole series, and I find myself deeper and deeper entrenched in their lives.
The core mystery is not solved but layers of it are peeled back. The magic that is used is fantastical and wondrous and the methods these characters utilize to overcome the villain left me awed and hungry for more.
As for Rogan, I am completely in love with him. I love the way he reacts when he is jealous over another man’s attention towards Nevada or when she is threatened. While we don’t always see him react, we see the aftereffects. It’s totally swoon worthy (stated with a giggle).
As for Nevada, I adore her loyalty more than anything. The fact that she doesn’t consider what is socially acceptable for her future House but what her heart tells her. She’s all about those that she loves and they return that sentiment, making every scene whether filled with drama or wit, rich with emotions.
I am completely addicted to this series, and I hate series! But I’m so glad I began this one and have every intention of following it to the end!
