OK so parts of this story I had a hard time with. I think it was just me though. I had a hard time liking Tamara which, for me, is just strange because usually I really like her type of character. She is completely wild, headstrong, and just out there. But she also seemed slightly childish to me and that was the part I had a hard time connecting with. But I loved Mammoth! So he made the story for me. There are lots of steamy spots and he just is this stand up guy. Not what you are expecting at all!! I really loved his character and how he was. My other issue was that the end seemed rushed and the story itself seemed to be missing something. Not my favorite book in this series, which surprised me since I usually love this author’s books!
Jacob Morgan’s voice is exceptional and I love how narrates a book. I’m not so sure that I truly liked Callie Dalton’s voice though. Sometimes it just got on my nerves and annoyed me. Something about the tone when it came to certain words. So all in all, not a bad listen but not a favorite for me.
So, I love Chelle Bliss and I love the Gallo’s and I gotta say so far with Gigi and Tamara’s stories as a 2and generation I’m thinking they may beat the originals and I LOVE the men of Inked and Southside!!
Tamara and Mammith, so hot, so fun and I loved that she was a spicy, sassy woman and he was sort of the all american biker and they mixed so beautifully in how they talk to each other and how they reacted to their differences.
The audio was good for me, a unique bend of the 3 narrators and it worked, although I truly liked reading this one better.
Wildfire is the 3rd book in the Men of Ink Heatwave series and I enjoyed this story. It was evenly paced, captivating, well-written, steamy with a touch of BDSM, and at times hilarious. Mammoth & Tamara’s chemistry burned up the pages of this novel and I absolutely loved how well these two characters fit together. However as much as I enjoyed these characters, I felt that Tamara acted a bit to immature for my liking. Of course the inclusion of the rest of the Gallo family made the tale so much better. I enjoyed this novel and I would recommend it to all lovers of romance..
The audiobook was narrated by Callie Dalton, Jacob Morgan, and Samantha Brentmoor, who all did a fantastic job with the narration. Their voices were clear and understandable and they brought the characters. It was a pleasure listening to them narrate this novel.
Wildfire is one hell of a ride. Tamara is full of sass and spirit that draws you to her. And Mammoth is……whoa is a man that you would want in your life, a tattoo protector. Chelle makes Gallo family feel like a part of your own crazy family. Whether you like to read the books or audio you will love this amazing story.
Another great Gallo family story!
Tamara & Mammoth compliment each other so perfectly. Tamara is wild & sassy, living for the moment and a little adventurous. Mammoth is nothing that I expected. Tough on the exterior with such a sweet, kind and loving heart.
When Tamara brings Mammoth home to meet her family, I was quite surprised when we learn the connection he had with her aunt & uncle. The Gallo family gatherings were some of my favourite moments in this book and they had me laughing out loud.
I listened to the audio version and really enjoyed Callie Dalton & Jacob Morgan together.
I loved every minute! I can’t wait for Lily’s story, but truly hope we get more of Tamara & Mammoth.
***** AUDIOBOOK REVIEW *****
Eeek! I was so excited for this one! I was feeling like I was left dangling on that surprise cliffy for DECADES waiting to hear what happened with Tamara next. Oh that naughty girl! As a reader who has just jumped into the middle of the Gallo family I can tell you all that you don’t have to read or listen to the entire series to understand these three (so far) Men of Inked books. Now you might enjoy them better if you’ve read about all the other couples. I know I wish I had but I still have fallen hard for the family and friends here.
The alpha male we have in this book is larger than life and he is just SO MANLY! I get the name of this book, ughhhh… these two feel like they could start an entire WILDFIRE just between them! Tamara quickly became everything he wanted and needed… SURPRISE! She’s the wild child and I knew she needed a strong and fierce male character and Chelle Bliss gives us just that! Sit back and watch the flames!
The narration by Callie Dalton and Jacob Morgan was fan-tas-tic! I love these two together. Callie Dalton gives us that strong and sassy woman we want from Tamara. She sounded fun and upbeat. I really enjoy her narrations. Now, Jacob Morgan is just swoonable! His voice is one that brings chills. It’s gruff and gravely and so sexy it’ll make your toes curl! Loved it!
This book is hot HOT all in capitals and screamed from the roof tops. It’s the kind of book that makes you want to track down the author and beg her to tell you how she continues to write such strong amazing females and indecently naughty alpha males.
The book was well developed and I loved the fact that their was so much in there, humour, feels and heat all combined in the one amazing book
for the audio –
You have to love the Gallos, all of them! Tamara is no exception. The way she wants to live life even being so young. Mammoth not only has perfect grey eyes for her to fall into, he knows what she needs. I sometimes thought of Tamara like a happy bunny bouncing around Mammoth. She was too cute and full of life not to love. I enjoyed listening to Jacob Morgan as Mammoth. His voice was rich and smooth. Callie Dalton was sweet and spicy as Tamara. These books are just a fun listen. It is possible to listen to Wildfire without listening to any of the other stories. However, you’ll want to get the rest to listen to as soon as you can.
This book was definitely a WILDFIRE!!! Ms. Bliss has done it once again, but even BETTER than before! I always think it doesn’t get any better than this with all her books and she never fails to prove me wrong time and time again. Mammoth and Tamara are straight up explosive! You have all the drama, sexiness, and laughs that you have come to know and love about the Gallo Family. It’s a world I always want to stay in and always disappointed when my time with them is over. Jacob and Callie helped give these characters another level of life in my head. While I have read the book before listening, I always love the extra level an audio book gives to a story so compelling!
OMG. I loved this story. Loving the series.
I just loved Tamara and her wildcat ways and I absolutely adored Mammoth. Gee wiz what a guy.
Wish I could have crawled into the book and meet him in person.
The Gallo Family are just brilliant. Loved how Grandma took to him and basically had the rest of the Family follow. I just hope the Disciples let him go soon and without bother.
Can’t wait to read about Lily now. Not sure if I want to know more about Crow though.
Wildfire (Men of Inked: Heatwave #3) was another great read by Chelle Bliss. Tamara is a Gallo who feels as though she is missing something in her life. She goes to the Disciples Compound to look for a good time with a biker. Mammoth isn’t the biker that she was looking for but he is everything that she wants. He is tasked with keeping Tamara safe while the club is on lockdown. This was another great read by Chelle Bliss and I can’t wait to read more in this series. Callie Dalton, Jacob Morgan and Samantha Brentmoor did a great job of narrating the characters.
I would give this book 10 stars if I could.
This has to be the best yet of Chelle Bliss.
Once I started it, I could not put it down.
Tamara definitely has a wild streak that comes out 100% in this book.
Going to the compound to meet back up with Crow was a bust.
Now, Mammoth (HOT Damn)!!! He has to be the epitome of all that is bad in a very good way.
The dynamics they have working, sends this book up in flames to burn wild.
Can’t wait until the next book Blaze comes out.
How can I say I loved it in a new and exciting way? How about freaking fantastic! Gallo Glorious!
I don’t care how many books I have read by Chelle Bliss, she never drops the ball. Tamara and Mammoth are such a perfect fit I cannot imagine them with any other mate.
I love how her firey butt almost got her in major hot water but got her the perfect man instead. I adore how well he blended into her families. Like he belonged there, which he does.
Chelle, you keep pumping them out and I will be right here to read them!
I really was into wildfires I really love it from the the voices to the actual book. you have a very sexy bad ass biker to finding tam-tams man. there is a lot of action. it will take your breath away to getting into trouble with her parents. you will love Mammoth he is someone you would love to have for yourselves. Will tam-tam go for the darkness with mammoth?
Fun Fact: I did not know a single Gallo nor had I ever read a Men of Ink story when I started this series, and with every book I read, I get a little more desperate to make the time to #binge every single one of their books! This family is fabulous!!
Tamara Gallo just made me all kinds of happy. JD “Mammoth” Saint made me swoon like crazy. Together they made my heart explode!
Their story was fast-paced and one I would consider to be sexually driven. I could have read these two for hours on end. They matched so well that every page was captivating to me. Even tho the story itself doesn’t have a cliffhanger/pause moment to it, I wish the book had been written in two parts. I’m not going to give you a play-by-play/plot point of the situation(s) I think could have been explored in more depth because, spoilers. Don’t get me wrong, this story was enjoyable as is, I just wanted to enjoy them more. I wanted to enjoy their exploration more. I wanted to know a lot more about the MC that had their hooks in Mammoth. I just wanted more *shrug*
Even with all my wants, I still give this story an outstanding 5 star rating. I can’t even with myself for not reading about this family before now!
Gallo Wild child Tamara took off looking for an adventure with Crow instead what she found was love with Mammoth! I devoured this book quickly and cannot wait to read more from this couple, along with the rest of my favorite family! Chelle once again sucked me in .
WILDFIRE is the 3rd book in the “Men of Inked: Heatwave” series and can be read as a stand-alone. If this is your first venture into the amazing world that Chelle Bliss has written, I would not suggest starting with this one. The Gallo Family is HUGE and wonderful and so fun to read – start at the beginning and enjoy the journey.
The Heatwave Series is about the next generation of Gallos – Tamara is the oldest child of the oldest child so she was bound to have some boundary issues from the very beginning. I’ve never quite warmed up to her (maybe because I’m also the oldest of the oldest??) and by the end of WILDFIRE I appreciated her a little more.
Once again I wonder if the author found the cover and modeled the character after him or searched high and low for a model to math the character because it is SPOT ON what I imagined “Saint” to look like. The story is set in a relatively short timeline so there is quite a bit that happens from beginning to end and there are pieces that aren’t resolved (I like them to be tied up neatly in a bow). I mainly listened to the story on Audible and had to go back to the print version a few times because I thought I spaced out while listening.
I am looking forward to this series continuing and having some things answered (like what does JD stand for?).
WILDFIRE (Men of Inked Heatwave #3) By Chelle Bliss
This is the delicious story of Tamara Gallo and her biker by the name of Mammoth. I don’t have enough words to describe how much I loved this book! Chelle hooked me from the start. Tamara is the Gallo wild child who is looking for adventure when she shows up at the Disciples MC house looking for a biker she had met. When that blows up, she gets handed off to Mammoth to protect her and keep her out of trouble. Their story has everything we have loved about the Gallo family. The crazy banter, the love, the combustive sexiness, the camaraderie, the family dinners, literally everything that makes a Chelle Bliss Men of Inked book such an addictive read. This is a 5 star read since I can’t give it more!
Oh how I love this group of people in this series! Family is so close that they are always in everyone’s business and yet they all are happy to have it that way. These two are really fun to listen to and see their relationship grow as they come closer to each other. I loved this book and the preview to the next has me begging that it comes out in audio soon!
This is the third book in the Men of Inked: Heatwave Series. While it can be read as a stand alone, I highly suggest you read them in order.
This is Tamara’s book.
We do see some of her with Crow in the previous book.
If you have read the previous books, you’re going to be in for a surprise.
This wasn’t what I thought it would be, so it’s a good surprise.
I do’nt want to say too much and give anything away.
This is a great read.
Tamara was a little annoying at times, to me. But not enough to take away from the story.
I can’t wait for Lily’s story!
