In my Wildest Dreams, I never imagined I’d see him again. The night I gave my virginity to Preston McConnell was the last night I ever saw him. Six years later and broke off my ass, I take a job at the best special feature magazine in the southern United States. It’s my dream job, and I’m more than happy to take on my first assignment that includes a one-way ticket to South Africa, where I’m … where I’m supposed to follow a veterinarian who has made a name for himself as the lion whisperer.
I haven’t dated anyone since Preston, and the bitter, broken-hearted girl I used to be is ready to pack up and quit the very second I see him again. It’s only the soft words from Preston’s best friends, Jay and Wren, that stop me in my tracks. Encouragement and a way out presents itself in the form of the two hot as sin safari guides. I can’t let Preston get to me like he used to. I’m here to do a job and nothing more. If he wants to rekindle anything, he’ll have to get used to competition because, in my dreams, I’m no longer flying solo.
No. I don’t want one man. I want three.

This novella was such a great read, I did not want to put it down. It had the steam and romance I love as well. If you are looking for something fast paced this is definitely a go to read!
I’m usually not a big fan of novellas because I feel like there’s just never enough time for everything. BUT…Lucy worked some word wizardry and knocked this one out of the park! I loved that it was sweet and steamy, but also had a plot with some action and adventure. It definitely surprised me in the best way possible and ends with a happy for now!

Standalone novella
I really enjoyed this novella. It’s a quick read and moves fast but will keep you entertained throughout. Jen is searching for her dream job when she is sent to South Africa to photo a vet and his friends. What she doesn’t realize is the vet is the man she hasn’t been able to get over in six years. I liked all the characters and their openness. Jen will have what she couldn’t imagine in her wildest dreams.
I really enjoyed this book. I don’t usually read many contemporary stories, but this one had plenty of mystery and excitement. It was a quick and steamy read, and the only reason it’s 4.5 instead of 5 stars for me is because I would have liked to see the effects her decisions had on her career at the end as well. The writing was excellent!

That was… wild. Ha! I found the story line interesting and well informed. I loved the twist that was thrown in with the third and most known vet. I truest hadn’t seen that coming. I felt the story line progressed quickly in fact a few points I found myself rereading to make sure I hadn’t missed something. There most certainly was sex. The scenes were well written and formed an image perfectly in your mind. My favorite line in the entire book was the one about shucking corn. Lol. Overall I felt it was an excellent and quick read especially after she made it to Africa.
It was a very good story line with likable and relatable characters. Lucy does a great job at setting the mood. In this quick paced novella. I feel as if this book was too short and a lot of the story went untold. I think it would have been great as a full length novel. Lots of spunk and sweat in this novella. Worth the read!

Loved this concept, felt refreshing after the last 10 books I have read and definitely took me out of my hangover! I actually liked the length and thought it suited the story really well. I pretty much recommend all of Lucy’s books, but definitely pick this one up if you want something hot and not a long book/series. It was the perfect length for me to read during my lunch breaks this week at work (even if my face got red with some of the scenes hehehe).
This was such a sweet easy read! Lucy Smoke did a great job with writing this characters! I haven’t read anything that takes place in anywhere in Africa! I loved it!
When Lucy told me about this story she was thinking about writing I got extremely excited. As a South African who lives in the bushveld I fell in love with it immediately. She touches on the harsh reality of poaching in our little country that devastates the wild life population daily. But with that she also tells an AMAZING love story where she shows that true love can stand the test of time and heartbreak.
This RH story will pull you in right from the start and will make you fall in love with every single character and the beauty that is South Africa.
Thank you Lucy for revealing the true beauty of the little country I love

Hot, steamy and is the perfect way to pass the weekend!
Great getaway read! Quick, easy read you can really sink your teeth into. An escape to another country that is realistic to the issues occurring there. Get comfy, make sure you have snacks as you will not want to stop once you start reading.
This is a fantastic stand-alone reverse harem romance novella. I absolutely loved the storyline, it was fresh exciting with drama and romance. I found it was very well written and I was hooked from the start. I was almost watching it play out in my head. I love the characters, I found myself indignant on Jen’s behalf! I highly recommend this fabulous read
