Wild Ones Tip #349If you don’t understand what’s going on, it’s because you haven’t been in Tomahawk long enough. My sister and I decided to go to Tomahawk to learn more about our estranged grandmother and spend some time together doing something other than networking. What we expected was some quiet town, a peaceful escape, and a little downtime. What we got?Two sexy mountain men…who actually … got?
Two sexy mountain men…who actually wear a lot of flannel, bring fresh kills on first dates, and gripe about screaming a lot.
Hypothermia, a broke arm, a possible concussion, and more reckless fun than we’ve ever had.
And a stoner town that prides itself on its weed, crazy challenges, beards, and bizarre character.
Our trip started a little like a horror film…including bad cell signal, spotty internet and womb snatchers. Long story.
Fortunately, it changed pretty quickly.
I actually ended up not spending much time with my sister, but I did spend a lot of time with Kai Wilder. He’s the single most unique, easy-going, and…oblivious man I’ve ever met.
Welcome to Tomahawk. Home of the Wild Ones.

Holy freaking Wilder!!!! Wilder is brilliantly hilarious, laugh out loud funny. Hands down the best of the Wild Ones. I seriously have a lady boner for Kai, always have. He is so wild, so sweet, so adorable( dont tell him that). It was so endearing to read all about him. It was everything I always wanted his story to be. Ioved it, i laughed, I even felt all his heartache. And now I want my own Cougar!!!
Laugh Out Loud Funny & Cute As A Fluffy Kitten!!
You just can’t go wrong with a book from the ‘Wild One’s Series’ it seems!! They’ll crack you up laughing at the ‘Four Corners’ antics and then melt your heart with how they rally around each other in a time of need!!
This book concentrates mostly on Kai Wilder, the oldest & wildest brother in the Clan! He rescues clueless and out of her depth, literally, Piper – from dying in a frozen pond, when she goes through the ice after saving Bambi!! She’s in Tomahawk with her sister Reese to check out their late Gran’s cabin. They’ve both become disillusioned with their lives in the spotlight & the way they’ve been as people up until now. They’re hoping to make some changes in their lives!
The situations these sisters find themselves in are true laugh out loud, belly laughing, fun to read! The first dates with Mountain Men are some of the funniest pages I’ve read in a while. The zip line & bubble wrap had tears rolling down my face too But what is never far away is the kindness of the people, the cuteness of the guys – they’re so weird but sweet – and the absolute crazy that is the Wild One’s, no matter which Family or age group they’re from!!
Seriously, buy the books and fall in love I don’t see how you can avoid it!!

Another fun read! Quirky characters and strange shanigans! This has been a great addition to The Wild Ones series!
Another 5 laugh my ass of stars!! This series is incredible!!
This is book three in the “Wild Ones” series and can be read as a stand alone. Sadly once I started this series the author announced she quit writing and pulled all her books. I couldn’t give up this series because it is probably one of my favorite rom coms of all time but I am not sure if you will be able to read these books anywhere.
This book has me laughing so loud. I think even more then the other books. I don’t even know because I am head over heels for ALL of the books in the series.
Kai is so perfect. He is definitely one of my favorite males but with that being said the twins come in a close second. I love the shit out of them. I am sad they won’t ever get their book. Kai is so much more then I thought he would be. Damn is he perfect.
Piper is a city girl not meant to be out in Tomahawk. But like it does to all the outsiders looking for their place in life, they fall hard and never want to leave. But sadly does Piper even have a choice in the matter?!
This is another amazing book with superb writing and excellent character development. Props to the author for killing all three of these books!!
So far this has been my favorite Wild Ones novel! I found it absolutely hilarious and could not stop laughing. I loved the main characters as well as the rest of the wild ones!
Anything from this author is awesome.
The town of Tomahawk has such a great way of making you forget your troubles and remember to just enjoy yourself for a little while. I did not enjoy this story as much as the first two but it does keep those characters somewhat involved in this story. Still looking forward to the next one in the this series.
C.M. Owens has done it again. Honestly, this whole book sucks right now because once again I’ve had to leave Tomahawk. I actually dragged out this book as much as possible because I knew the end would eventually come.
Wilder is the story of Kai and Piper and it is one that you don’t want to miss. It’s really hard to describe this book because of all the craziness that goes on, but epic is definitely a word I would use. If you have not read Becoming a Vincent and Going Wild I have two things to say to you: 1) why?? And 2) make sure you read those two first to gain full appreciation for this Wild Ones book.
This series has quickly made it’s way to the top of my romcom favorites list and I highly recommend it to everyone!!!
I was so excited for this book because I absolutely loved the first two books, but this one fell short for me.
I loved the town craziness and the past characters. They were my favorite part of the book.
I also loved Piper and Kai separately, but I didn’t feel their connection. I felt like their actions and thoughts didn’t match up very well. I also was disappointed at how tame Kai was in comparison to his description in the previous books. I felt like I was missing out on something.
Overall it was a good read, but wasn’t what I have come to expect from the Wild Ones. I still can’t wait to see what CM Owens has in store for the rest of the series.
You really need to start with books 1 and 2 to understand where this 3rd book fits into the story line. It did not disappoint but was much more angst filled than the first two. Still fantastic and at times uproariously funny! I really want CM Owens to continue this series. There is no way it can end after the 4th book. I must have more “Wild Ones”!
I made the mistake of starting to read this while in a plane. I thought security would be waiting for me at the gate thinking I had a mental breakdown I was laughing so much. Cm never fails to bring the comedy and fun times. I liked how Piper struggled with her self confidence as not all women are the aggressive type. There was a vulnerability and realness to her. Kai was just so sweet, sexy and oblivious. There were times I just wanted to smack him upside the head. I love the underlying story between Hale & Reese and the other Wild Ones. I can’t wait for the rest of the books.
Kai Wilder saves Piper’s life after a disastrous rescue of a deer goes awry. Piper awakens in a compromising position with Kai and is mortified. The city girl meets one of the Wilder boys who have quite the reputation in Tomahawk. Piper quickly believes the town is full of crazies and she seems to be dating in one of them.
Kai realizes Piper is not in Tomahawk to stay, but a fling is ok and he makes sure the locals know she is his. However, this dating gig is a lot more work then he thought and mixed message lead to confusing feelings on both parts. Could Kai be wrong about Piper being there to stay though?
This was so much fun, each chapter has funny little tips. I thought the characters were a hoot and you get a side romance with Piper’s sister too. This has some laugh out loud moments and definitely one to pick up if looking to put a smile on your face.
OMG I loved revisiting the Wild Ones and all that book three has to bring. Kia and Piper’s story add a whole knew level of cray cray (yikes). The internal dialogue of these two kept producing bouts of uncontrolled laughter all throughout this read. Piper’s disbelief and feelings of being in an alternate universe as she experiences the madness of the town of Tomahawk are some of the funniest things I have ever read. Kia sleighs me. I love living in his brain and all the over-the-top, backwoods thinking that goes on. Going into this book I expected all the humor (it is C.M. Owens after all) but what was a pleasant surprise is how beautifully touching this story is from the beginning. The Bambi scene represents this well, that’s all I am saying (wanting to say more but I won’t). The theme of finding and becoming your best self, might have brought a few tears to my eyes (eek). Yes I am THAT girl. Don’t judge me (haha). The injustice of this book is the teasing this author did with Hale and Reese’s story. WTH! SO MEAN… UGH I need to know all NOW! I guess that isn’t happening (boo hoo). This definitely is a recommended read. It has all the elements I love; funny, sweet with just right amount of naughty (wink wink). Lastly, being a small town Northern California gal, I loved and appreciated all the redneck hilarity. SO GOOD! Happy Reading Everyone!
Another wild ride with this gang. You probably should read books 1 and 2 so you can get the feel of the flow of these books. These books are just fun to read. Piper and Kia are an interesting pair to say the least. Dual point of view. No cliffhanger.
cm owens is by far the best!!
