Introducing the Rough Riders’ Hockey Series. “The intense, tight-knit men of the Rough Riders’ hockey team will win readers over in a heartbeat.” ~Marina Adair, #1 Bestselling Author Tate “The …
Tate “The Saint” Donovan’s jaded outlook really makes him more of a devil’s advocate. Ever since he discovered his ex-wife doing more in their bedroom than rooting for the home team, he’s given up on finding The One. In fact, he’s given up on finding Any One. So he isn’t surprised when his teammate’s engagement party is one mishap away from going up in flames—until a sexy, free spirit whisks in from Paris and drags the party from the fire. She’s whimsical, wild, and oh so wrong, but her breezy, freestyle attitude makes her utterly irresistible. Tate’s halo slips. He takes a walk on the wild side. And discovers wrong has never felt so right.
With big plans on the horizon, Olivia’s laissez faire attitude toward men is a perfect pairing. She’s drawn to Tate’s wounded soul, and the protective warrior beneath his brooding mask intrigues her…right into bed. Olivia quickly realizes the possessive passion he brings to the bedroom is like nothing she’s ever experienced, and her feelings for Tate turns her take-it-or-leave-it style love life on its head.
With her return to Paris imminent and his grueling hockey season approaching, Olivia and Tate must face the possibility that they are destined to be nothing more than star-crossed lovers.

In Dirty Score, Tate came across as the overbearing, overprotective big brother and quite frankly, a jerk. BUT….in Wild Zone we finally learn why. When you marry someone and then they practically crap all over you and make you question everything about yourself, yeah, I’d be a little jaded when it came to women and love as well.
Meeting Olivia for the first time took him by surprise. There was instant chemistry between them that literally set the room on fire. For the first time in over a year, Tate actually felt the urge to get to know someone. The vulnerability that Skye Jordan brings about in Tate makes him one of the most endearing characters I’ve read in a long time. He’s always been a relationship kind of guy, but those have never been Olivia’s forte, but he’s willing to give it shot just to be with her. Olivia is one of the strongest female characters I’ve ever read, but so very vulnerable at the same time. I loved watching their relationship unfold and seeing their struggles as they try to find their way. There was just enough family drama without being too over the top, but her mom and sister deserved a knock up side the head for sure!
I have loved every single one of the Rough Rider’s so far, but I do believe Tate has won my heart at this point. I can’t wait to see who skates into our lives next! If you love a good hockey series, then you shouldn’t hesitate…#oneclick the Rough Rider’s series today.

Another awesome story for this series.
Tate “The Saint” Donovan, hockey player on the Washington DC Rough Riders meets Olivia, a beautiful young woman with a carefree attitude toward life and they each find the balance in the other to start a relationship.
She has family problems with her twin sister and her mom; he has insecurity issues from the fall out of a divorce. Together they find the foundation for a relationship and although the time is short they develop an understanding for a future.
Tate was featured prominently in the previous Rough Riders book as the grumpy, growly brother to Mia (Dirty Score’s heroine) and the teammate/best friend to Rafe (its hero).
I can’t wait for more of this series. (I really hope more is to come) I highly recommend this book and series.
So excited to read Tate’s story. He’s the overprotective brother, strong team captain but his love life has been non-existence since his divorce. Tate never expected his wife to cheat on him and doesn’t know how to trust love again. This has made him kind of grumpy. His teammates and friends keep pushing him to have a one-night stand, do something to lighten up. Olivia Essex is a free spirit, she is seeking her true passion, to be a chef. After her father died, she left home to travel the world and cook. She comes back to D.C. to help her family but is dreading being home. Her first night home, she lands in a bar to blow off some steam. Olivia and Tate have an incredible hook-up with the intention of it being one night, Olivia doesn’t do relationships. When Olivia and Tate cross paths at his friend’s engagement party, the sparks continue to ignite. I was totally pulled into this romance. Both Tate and Olivia are dealing with a lot of emotional pain, I couldn’t help rooting for them to overcome their past hurts to find love. There is added depth to this journey as Olivia has to face the issues she has with her mother and sister. I have loved every story about the Rough Riders, each story stands by itself yet you get to revisit all the characters and see how they are a family that supports each other. Add in Skye Jordan’s signature sexy style and you have the perfect escape.
4.5*
I wasn’t sure what Tate’s story was going to be…he didn’t make such a good impression on me in Dirty Score. He was the protective big brother, but he was just a little over-the-top. But I’m so happy to say I think he’s my new favorite Rough Rider! He’s so sweet and caring, and flat-out loveable.
I just love me a vulnerable, slightly damaged hero; who, because of circumstances beyond his control, has been left feeling somewhat insecure about himself. Tate hasn’t been the same man his friends and family knew him to be since his divorce. He just seems to be going through the motions until a chance run-in with a woman who will make him realize all he’s been missing.
Tate and Olivia have a really awesome connection. I loved how they complemented each other so perfectly. She brought him back to life and out of his shell. He made her stop and think about how she’s been living her life. I was so anxious for them both to understand that there didn’t have to be an expiration date to their relationship!
There’s so much more to this book than just Tate and Olivia’s love story, although that is the best part of the book! Olivia has a lot on her plate, with worrying about not only her future, but her mother’s and sister’s as well. There was quite a bit of family drama between the three, and both mother and sister needed knocked upside their heads. At times I was completely frustrated by what was happening, but Olivia is a better woman than I am and handled things so gracefully.
Overall this is a really terrific addition to the Rough Riders series. I love getting to know each of the guys individually, and seeing what makes them tick. They all have such distinct personalities, it’s fun to see where Skye takes each of them.
