I am wildly successful in my career. Everyone knows Graham Frazier, soccer club owner, is a winner. In my love life? Decidedly less so. But just because I’m divorced doesn’t mean I can’t throw my best friend the wedding party of the year. Even if marriage is a mistake.I hadn’t expected the long hours with Lori to make me wonder.Wedding planning is Lori Connor’s favorite thing, a vicarious escape … a vicarious escape from her life as a single mom. I doubt she’s ever had a client fluster her like I seem to. She says she’s supposed to keep my sarcasm in check, but I keep finding her eyes on my abs more than my best man’s speech.
Maybe that’s how her guard got lowered enough to end up spending the night with me.
I was already pursuing her relentlessly before I met her son, but damned if that kid doesn’t have me wrapped around his finger even faster than his mother did.
Lori seems charmed by the bond forming between her little guy and myself. They’re rapidly consuming my every waking thought—but can I truly rekindle a belief in forever?

Another great Layla Hagen story! Loved it!
This book was on my reading list this weekend. If you’ve not read Layla Hagen, then start.
I love escaping into a Layla Hagen romance!
Layla does it again in Wild with You! She never fails to bring the heat and the heart!
I got swept up in this single mom romance. Lori has built an amazing business planning weddings and parties, creating a wonderful life for her son Milo. She has the help of her siblings, the Connor family, that have an incredible bond following the loss of their parents as children. When she is asked to plan a wedding on short notice for her brother Jace’s team owner, she jumps at the chance, always up for a challenge. Graham doesn’t believe in relationships but when he meets Lori, he is captivated by this woman’s strength and confidence. She shows him someone that isn’t attracted to his bank account, she actually doesn’t appear to be interested I him. Well, Graham loves a challenge too so he pulls out all the stops to get under Lori’s skin. I loved the connection between Lori and Graham as professionals first, there is a true respect for each other’s jobs as the work on the wedding. Add in the sexual tension and all the family drama, and well, I was completely sucked into their romance. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
Lori is a sister in the Connor clan and Graham is the owner of a soccer club, the same one that Jace, her brother plays in. Lori, an event planner, is doing a wedding for one of Graham’s best friends and that’s how they meet. As per usual for Layla Hagen books, immediate sparks are seen and through the book, their relationship develops with minimal angst. I personally love the continued peek into their family and, as with the Bennett family book, as I read (or listen, as the case may be) to more of these books, the more invested in the family I get. if you’re looking for a low angst, sweet romance, I’m finding that Layla Hagen delivers!
I listened to the audiobook, narrated by Sebastian York and Andi Arndt and it was well done as usual. These narrators are some of the most consistent performers out there and I really enjoyed the way they read the story.
Graham Frazier, Owner Of A Professional Soccer Team, Gets Swept Away By His Best Friends’ Wedding Planner
Graham Frazier, the hot thirty-two year old owner of the LA Lord’s, a professional soccer team, is immediately drawn to wedding planner Lori Connor. He had only casually dated since his divorce two years earlier, opting to keep emotionally unattached rather than face another failure. His father and grandfather had been cheaters, and although Graham was determined not to follow in their footsteps, he had felt inadequate to please his ex-wife, and presumed he was incapable of pleasing a woman long-term. But there was something about Lori that made him unable to resist her.
Lori Connor, single mom to Milo, age seven, hasn’t been with a man since she had her son. She had quit medical school when she found herself unexpectedly pregnant, opting instead to start up an event planning business instead of facing the long hours away from her child that a medical career required. The father, Jeff, told her he was focused only on his medical studies and would not participate in the child’s life, leaving her alone and pregnant.
Lori recently expanded her business to include weddings, so when Graham agrees to be best man and to host his two best friends’ wedding at his home, he takes up the the suggestion from Jace, his star player and brother of Lori, to call Lori for help putting together a wedding in one month’s time.
Graham can’t stop obsessing about Lori, and each time they meet he gets pulled in further, until finally he kisses her shortly before the wedding. The wedding night leaves Lori free overnight, as her son is with relatives, and Graham and Lori give in to their attraction to one another.
Graham soon falls in love with both Lori and Milo, but the past haunts them all. Graham’s strained relationship with his father and Milo’s non-existent biological father both emerge to cause trouble, creating strain on the relationship.
This was a short, sweet story – the second in the series about the Connor family. It was easy to see how Graham fell for both Lori and Milo. Lori was the committed mother that he never had, and Milo was a child who felt abandoned by his father, similar to Graham himself. Lori was a strong women, doing everything on her own for years and always prioritizing Milo. Together, they make a wonderful family. After a few bumps in the road, Graham and Lori finally earn their HEA.
So Enjoyed
Lori was raising her son Milo without his dad but that’s ok she has siblings to help. Graham owns the soccer club Lori’s brother plays for. But when Amber & Matt decide to get married, Graham offered to pay for it. And that is where they meet, the single mom afraid to date and the divorce who has issues.
I liked It.
This one has the same problem Landon’s book does. I’ve never read a Bennett book. I don’t know any of them, but they are included in this book as if I should. A second book in the series should only have future characters and one past couple. Not a whole cast of characters from a previous series. I hope that Graham figures out how to talk to her, and that their relationship isn’t just hot sex.
I’m falling big time for the Connor family and one again Layla Hagen has given me a heart warming romance to indulge in, this time it’s Lori Connor, single mum of Milo and Graham Frazier’s story.
Lori loves everything about her life, she lives her job as events planner, she loves her family and she loves her adorable son Milo but when she meets Graham the best man at the next wedding she is planning she feels things she hasn’t felt before, an instant attraction with sizzling chemistry……
Graham has been sworn off woman he is still reeling from a bitter divorce but even he can’t ignore the mutual feeling this pair have for each other.
This book ticked all my boxes, it has characters I feel for big time, I loved how both Lori and Graham considered Milo in everything they did, I loved the banter and the loyalty this family share with each other and their friends and I can’t wait to pick up book 3.
I’m playing catch up with Ms Hagen’s stories and with everyone I read I find myself loving her style of writing more and more, she is fast becoming a go to author for me and I’m sure if you pick one of the Bennett or Connor series up you will feel the same. Highly recommended
I loved Wild With You by Layla Hagan. Wild With You is the second book in the Connor Family series. It is an outstanding story and Layla Hagan is an amazing storyteller. I only recently discovered her writing and want to read the entire Connor Family series. I love the characters, who doesn’t love big families, and the setting. Love how she describes the different locations in L.A. Wild With You is the story of Lori Connor, event planner and single mother to Milo, and Graham Frazier, owner of the L.A. Lords, a soccer team. Lori and Graham meet because Graham is the best man in his best friends, Amber and Matt’s wedding. Amber hires Lori as her wedding planner and Graham has agreed to pay for parts of the wedding and is involved in all the events leading up to the wedding. The sparks are flying between Lori and Graham, but both are cautious. Lori’s top priority is being Milo’s Mom and has not dated since he was born. Graham is recently divorced and is not certain he is willing to out himself out there again. Jeff Finn, Milo’s biological father contacts Lori because he want to meet up with her when he comes to L.A. Lori assumes it is just his normal booty call email and ignores it. Love all the plot twists, bittersweet moments, and surprises in Wild With You. I am glad that everything gets resolved in the end and all the really special things that Graham does when he proposes to Lori! It was truly one of the best proposals that I have read recently. So glad that Lori got her happily every after.
Stayed up all night reading this fab book! I just adore the Connor Family and all the new members they are taking in. This book kept me smiling throughout most of the shenanigans. It pulled at my heart, had me laughing, crying, cheering, frustrated, squirming and just wanting to hang out during a Friday night dinner with all of them. Can’t wait to dive into Meant for You!
Lori and Graham tell an amazing story. I love it
When single mom, wedding planner Lori Connor meets Graham Frazier at a client meeting, she’s a little put off by his cynical tone. Sure, he’s obviously got a generous heart (he’s hosting her clients’ wedding who happen to be his best friends), and he’s seriously hot; but his seemingly cynical tone doesn’t sit well with her. She doesn’t recognize him at first, but he owns the soccer club one of her brothers plays for, and she soon realizes that she’s heard he’s divorced. That must explain his cynical tone during their meeting. A woman who plans joyous days for happy couples shouldn’t possible be attracted to a cynical divorced man, should she?
Graham is drawn to the gorgeous wedding planner, and he plans on bringing her into his life as more than just his friends’ wedding planner. His plans are slightly derailed by finding out she’s a single mom, but soon, her son is charming him more than he ever would have expected. Can these two manage to mesh their lives and become one big family? Or will Graham’s tendency to take over and fix things without taking Lori into consideration be too much for Lori to handle?
One of the things I love most about Layla Hagen’s writing is that her characters feel real. Even when they’re richer than the average person, their behavior and the depths to their characters are realistic. I loved Graham and Lori together, especially when Milo charmed Graham so effortlessly. And when he met her big, rambunctious family and he charmed them, I fell even more in love. So if you’re looking for a heartwarming, sexy romance with wonderful, layered and realistic characters, look no further than Wild With You. And now I can’t wait for Lori’s brother’s Will’s story, he’s as intriguing and real as his family.
As she did so well with the Bennett family, Ms. Hagen has continued to create great stories about members of the close knit Connor family. The story of Graham and Lori tests their insecurities and self doubt, but will they allow those things to stand in the way of their HEA? Filled with humorous banter and fierce sibling loyalty, this is one of those books you hate to see come to an end.
Beautiful story about 2 people who meet while planning a wedding!
Pure amazing writing by Layla in this story about Graham, owner of the pro soccer team, and Lori, event planner, whose brother plays for Grahams team!
Follow their story, as the attraction between them sizzles! Watch their relationship grow as these two come together and face the demons of their pasts!
5+++++ stars for this! I love how Layla includes her previous characters in her stories, and I can’t wait for her next book! Grab this when it becomes available!

I was sporting a grin that took up my entire face—the kind of photo dentists might display in their waiting room.
We’re not doomed to repeat our parents’ mistakes, you know. Or I’ll end up with a bad perm after the age of sixty, or a slight wine addiction. Or both. Imagine the horror.”
My Review:
I adored this couple, and what a treat to read a story where the characters aren’t in constant conflict or turmoil but are happy and playfully enjoying and supporting each other instead. It was gratifying and a welcome respite for my bruised coronary muscle. The storylines were engaging and relevant while the characters were endearing, enticing, and bright and shiny. The writing was entertaining and delightfully amusing with witty and bawdy banter. The pairing of Lori and Graham was dynamic and vibrant as both characters were independent, strong, and successful and secure in their careers although lacking in their social lives. Their attraction was instant, their chemistry was unmistakable, their passion was volcanic, and their story was pleasantly enjoyable and oh, so, sweet. I am simply loving her new series and can’t wait to see what this crafty scribbler does with the rest of the large Connor clan.
This was another amazing book by Layla Hagen. Layla Hagen is one of my favorite writers who know how to write wonderful family-oriented books and I love how she always surprises me with family cameos. Lori Connor is a single mother party planner; when her clients bring their best man along its all Lori can do not to stop thinking about Graham Frazier. Lori and Graham were the perfect balance for one another and Lori’s son Milo was just so cute with Graham. I loved the Bennett family but I think the Connor’s are becoming my favorites, can’t wait for Detective Connor’s book.
I can not put into words how much I adored this story. Graham and Lori had me in all the feels. Especially Graham. He is everything any single mom, let alone single woman, would hope to find. The way he is with Lori and Milo makes it impossible not to turn into a swooning mess. He’s sweet, caring and fiercely loyal and protective. Lori is strong, resilient and determined to give her son the most of everything. As a single mother I found myself relating to Lori on so many levels. I could really understand her emotions and thought process when it came to Graham and dating and her ex. This was just such an incredible read. I enjoyed it from beginning to end. I’m looking forward to more from the Connor family.
I could write long and use a ton of smart words… if I would be some literary critic, who I’m not.
I’m just oridinary woman, who can tell that Wild with You is a really good book.
I enjoyed it BECAUSE I find here love, crazy family, single mom, steamy moments and what’s the most important ??? There was not too much drama.
I hope that I won’t offend Layla now, thanks to that last reason Wild with You is really refreshing in love-books-world this days.
Lori is independent and hard working single mom. When she meets Graham everything in her life changes , as it should be in a good love story.
Lori and Graham are soo sweet together. When I started to read I would never thought that this couple will be so hot together.
They made me forget about daily problems and helped me to relax.
Every single word, page and chapter give me really good time, so I want more Lyla.
