He’s the quiet brooding guy who’s owned my heart since I was sixteen but has refused to claim it.
I’m the naïve woman who believes that someday our time will come.
I just didn’t realize that someday would include waking up in Vegas with a raging hangover and a ring on my finger.
If we believed in fate, maybe one of us would’ve trusted that something more powerful than ourselves interceded … ourselves interceded because our love is one of tangled vines. As twisted and frayed as they’ve become over the years, they’ve never broken.
An annulment seemed like the easy way out. We should’ve known it wouldn’t be fate that intervened, but our Italian Mamas. They can deliver Oscar-worthy performances when heaping on the guilt.
We thought it’d be easy to pretend to be a happily married couple in front of our families for three months and then say we gave it our best shot and go our separate ways.
But nothing is easy when it comes to Dominic Mancini and me. Nothing.

Not my first read by author and I have been following this series and COULDN’T wait for Van & Dominic story! There is something about a broody sexy business man and a history that always draws me. This also had me in tears a few times too!!
Now Val and Dom have known each other since they were kids, Italian life and family and all but even since their young age, say when they were teenagers, they both knew they would be together. Aaahh young love, sadly that ALWAYS turned into loss. Until that faithful night after success and happiness they ended up drunk off their asses and MARRIED! Yes, married, as in Dom was there for other reasons and also was she, when they wake up and realize they both are wearing rings….THE FUN BEGINS.
As much as neither want to admit for one another, fate had other ideas, along with their Italian Mama’s who haha the guilt-trip was fantastic. So what’s the harm in acting like a happily in love married couple for a few weeks? Well you know history, current situation and lot’s of sex & BAM, you get angst, sexy, addictive characters and story and a hint of adventure. In the end it’s really up to them to either move on past EVERYTHING or stay where they have been, get the annulment and move on with life. Simple as that, I absolutely LOVED both the characters, getting a little glimpse of the prior books and maybe even the future ones to come. It was heartbreakingly beautiful!

4.5 stars.
The last single Mancini man is no longer single! The last thing Dom was expecting to do when in Vegas was to end up married but that’s exactly what happens. Waking up wearing a wedding ring and with his new wife in bed next to him is a surprise to say the least but Don has a plan. Annulment. Unfortunately for the newly married couple their parents have other ideas and they really have no choice but to go along with their parents plan.
I love this kind of story line so I was super excited to start this and it didn’t disappoint. These characters already share a past, they are really easy to like and I have to admit I was firmly on their parents side. This is another great book from these authors that’s impossible to put down and I can’t wait for more from them.
Wild Steamy Hookup is Dominic Mancini’s story! And what a ride it is!! Talk about whiplash! Will they, wont they, will they??? I swear I was on tender hooks throughout the whole book!
What I absolutely loved was the family support!! Its so wonderful you really do wish you were a part of the whole gang!
The banter was brilliant! I found myself laughing alot and at certain moments I almost shed some tears!
All in all Val and Dom’s story will keep you on the edge of your seat! Be prepared that the road may be rocky but there are definitely some good surprises in store! A story so worth reading! A definite must read and a great addition the the series!! Wonder what’s in store from the authors next!!!
One word that describes this story to a tee – Dynamite! Full of humor and heart, characters Val and Dom will steal your heart, as you watch their story of longtime love materialize.
Unlike so many other stories this novel finally featured characters in their late 30’s searching for love which was not only refreshing but something I for one have craved for a long time.
Dominic Mancini proved to be one irresistible, albeit frustrating character, and one hell of a way to end the Mancini Brothers story-line. If you are looking for some good ole Italian family drama, sizzling chemistry, and a story with a roller-coaster of emotions, look no further than this Wild Steamy Hook-Up.
As Always, Happy Reading!
“5/5 Beaming Brains!” – Lit-Up My Mind
I think it’s fair to say that these wonderfully talented authors have saved the best for last.
What happens when the woman you’ve always craved is forced back into your life following one bad night of decisions? Italian parents can guilt trip like no other; I loved watching Mama and Papa Mancini bring their children to their knees. I’m clearly a masochist.
Valentina is a woman who is just trying to get through life the best way she knows. Self-employed, single mother; Valentina is organised but lacks a backbone for most of the book. She knows what she wants but just never was able to speak up for herself, before.
Dominic was always the strong and silent type, the one who held so many mysteries they could fill a Ruth Rendell mystery. In his story, we finally discovered where he kept sneaking off to in the previous book. Bella and Annie both struck that one out of the ballpark. Women’s intuition is very seldom wrong.
Never ones for the easy way of doing things, Dom and Val clash more often than not and those scenes are always the best to enjoy.
The Mancini siblings have always had such great banter and interplay. They really thrive off of one another’s energy. As much as they belittle each other, no matter what they are always there for each other.
This may be a contemporary romance based around the relationship of two people but these authors always create a feeling of family and belonging in their books. Thank you once again, ladies, for mastering the fabulous.
Val and Dom…Dom and Val…their story is like nothing I’ve read from Piper Rayne so far. An emotional, little slower second chance romance for two people that continue to hurt each other. Trust has been broken, old wounds run deep, but love flows just as strong. This dynamic writing duo crafts a come back story unlike anything else to wrap up the Mancini brothers. I loved it all – jammed packed with all the feels, Dom and Val had me laughing at their stupidity and crying the next when they realize just how much they need each other. Wild Steamy Hook-Up has something for every romance junkie. A feast for all your HEA senses, the whole family is together to finally get these two make their relationship work. The slower pace allowed me to experience their ups and downs with them every step of the way. I’m their biggest cheerleader, and that HEA is worth every page.
Like a fine wine Dom and Val only get better with time! To love each other for as long as these two have comes with so many emotions and so much history that you have to wonder if it will ever be their time.
In this third book of the series we get to see more of the quiet forever bachelor Dom. We find out his passions and what drives him. We find that he loves fiercely yet quietly and feels like he is lacking. He knows what he wants and who he wants, but there is always that but.
Valentina is a mom, a divorcée, a dancer, a dance teacher. She wears so many hats, but the hat she yearns most to wear is that of Doms’. To be Doms’ one and only, but she has always competed with his ambitions. So how do you come to terms with the love of your life can’t see what is right in front of him.
So this pairs’ story is weaves together with so many facets that your heart can’t help but be in the trenches with them at all times. Your upset that they each can’t get their heads out of the butts. You cry because they want each other, but don’t trust that their love is forever. You heart races because you feel the true love that they have for one another when they let go.
Piper Rayne outdid themselves with Dom and Valentina because they gave us a real-ness that hurt like a bitxh, but made you fall just as far. The eldest Mancini fell the hardest and it was even before he was truly a man! Insert heart eyes!!!
This is the third book in the series. I was looking forward to this one getting to know Dom through out the series and cliff hanger in the previous book. Dom is a character that I had to warm up to. Val brings out another side of him that I love to see. Waking up drunk and married in Vegas puts a while new spin on their relationship. They’ve been friend since they were kids and they have so much history. This a friends to lovers, second chance romance. Things are not going to be easy when they fight their feelings every step. One of my favorite scenes in the book is with Dom and Gia. It is so adorable and ovary exploding. This book was hard to put down. I loved the Italian families. They’re big, loud, and so great!
I loved this book. Dom and Val’s story is my favorite. They wake up married in Vegas so they decide to get an annulment. That is until their families find out about their marriage and convince them to give the marriage a shot. I love this friends to lovers story and the rollercoaster of emotions Dom and Val had to go through to get their HEA.
This is the third book in the White Collar Mancini’s Series. There will be one more. Blanca nees her story, especially after the epilogue for this book!
This is Dom’s book. He’s the oldest of the Mancini kids.
We did see that he had a regular “hook-up” in the previous books. It was just mentioned though. No details given about it then. We weren’t told who it was, or any of their history. So it’s okay if you haven’t read the other books first.
We do find out who that hook-up was and their entire history. And there’s a lot of history between the two of them.
I did love both Val and Dom. But, there were parts where I just wanted to slap them both and yell at them to tell each other how they honestly felt.
This is a great read and I can’t wait for Blanca’s book! I’m sad we have to wait until next year for it though.
This is the third book in the White Collar Brothers Series. I love this Series, and The Mancini Brothers are handsome! Val and Dom’s story is fun, sexy, and beautiful. I love Dom! He is handsome! They share a sizzling chemistry, but their story is filled with misunderstanding, and a lack of communication. Ryder, Val’s son, is a beautiful teenager. I loved see again Enzo, Annie, Carm, and Bella. I love the family spirit in the Series. I love the HEA, and the Epilogue is a great introduction to the next book in the Series, Blanca’s story. I can’t wait!
Who doesn’t love the strong, silent type? Make him a sexy Italian businessman and you have no hope at resistance.
Dom is making it even harder for me to pick a favorite Mancini. This man…I’m telling you…there’s so much more to him than the gruff, quiet guy who loves lobster mac and cheese. And once you open him up, there’s no going back. He’s simply amazing, yet there’s nothing simple about him. He definitely comes with that signature Mancini charm, charisma, and sex appeal, but he’s a complicated man who’s really good at standing in his own way when it comes to the things he wants in life. Sometimes, he’s his own worst enemy.
Val is just as complicated. Her history with Dom has shaped her whole life. She’s smart, funny, and isn’t afraid to give as good as she gets. She’s successful and independent, but there’s always an underlying vulnerability to her, one you see most often when Dom is around. Is she a pushover? Not even close. She’s definitely a strong, tough-as-nails woman who isn’t afraid to speak her mind. But that softer side we see with Dom makes you love her even more.
The chemistry between these two is palpable, to say the least. It’s easy to see why they can’t break that bond between them. But this story’s not all steamy passion and funny moments (believe me, there are plenty of both). There is some serious heart-tugging going on in this story. I promise you though, in the end, you’re going to fall in love with them both, and with the rest of this meddlesome, boisterous Italian family.
Wild Steamy Hookup is the third book in this series but it was my first ever read from these authors. Based on my reading, this could still be read as a stand alone even if its feels like interconnecting with previous characters appearing not to mention that glimpses of their pasts was mentioned on earlier books. Nevertheless, I was able to follow through the story but for best reading experience, I would advice starting from book one.
Dom and Val had a complicated past, although it didn’t stop them from harboring strong feelings for each other. And it was evident from that passionate night they’ve shared at Vegas, they still couldn’t get enough. They say what happens in Vegas, stay in Vegas but this time, it followed them back to their little hometown.
I find it hilarious the way their meddlesome mothers guilt trip them into staying married. I felt like I was back home watching those beloved telenovellas me and mom was a fan of. This book definitely gave me that vibe and I loved it! Also, even I could vouch that at some point, these kind of wily meddling happened to some friends I know. Heck, I watch it happened to one of my aunt, LOL. So, in a way, this was bringing back good old memories and that even at this age and time, even if you’re a grown up, tough person, they can still reduced you down to a fumbling teenager.
There were moments that I couldn’t help but want to smack some sense to them and yell for them to get their act together. I’m rooting for these two. They’ve wasted a lot of years circling around their feelings and it is high time that they sit down and talk about it. What happened in Vegas was nothing short of fate. This was a fun, second chance romance with a wild dash of meddling but loveable second characters. Can’t wait to read the story of the baby in the family, Blanca!
I loved Dom with his serious mysterious ways but his younger brother still holds my heart. Dom and Val have some Steamy Hook-Ups but the lack of communications and their stubbornness; I wanted to smack them silly. There is a lot of history between these two. Dom and Val made some mistakes in the past that they both wish they could take back – if only we could go back to tell our younger self what not to do. As always Piper Rayne books has me glued to my kindle and wanting more.
We’ve all been waiting for Dom and Val’s story… and it did not disappoint. Second chance romances are one of my favorites!
I literally finished this book in one day. Started it as soon as I saw it hit my kindle yesterday morning and ended up staying up til almost midnight because I just had to know how it ended. Not may books do that to me, so when I say this was a great book, it was a great book. SO full of angst, sexual tension with obvious love chemistry going on even when neither main character will admit it to anyone- even themselves. Piper Rayne had me hooked from when I first started the Blue Collar Brothers series, where the White Collar Brothers were first introduced and it just kept getting better and better!
This book will make you blush with all the dirty thoughts running through Dom’s mind and even the way he talks to Val.
Dom is the eldest Mancini brother who has never been interested in being tied down to one woman-except her. But he gave up his chance twice. But when one drunken night leads to both Dom and Val waking up with silver bands on their left ring fingers, and then you throw in both their Italian mamas finding out, they are forced to see where their “relationship” could go for a few months before deciding if they really want to get an annulment.
Both of them finding themselves falling even more for each other than they thought possible, they don’t think they want to annulment anymore. But when history repeats itself, Dom finds himself trying to win the only girl who could ever make him want to change his ways back, he pulls out the big guns and and is determined now more than ever to make Val his, and his forever.
Who’s been waiting on Dom’s story? Me, that’s who!
And it was everything I wanted and more. These ladies know how to give you a great read. And this was well worth the wait.
Val and Dom are perfect together. On again and off again for years they finally get their story. A drunken night ends up being the best thing that could happen to these two. And yes, they set sheets on fire!
Loved this just like I loved the others in this series. All the Mancini brothers have been great but up next we get Bianca’s story, and I for one can’t wait!

*Review by Michelle
Iv been patiently waiting for Doms book and it was worth the wait. Man this one was emotional. We know they have history but not how much and boy was it a doozy. I felt for both characters but poor Dom. You’ll soon understand!! Loved the read and the epilogue.
I did enjoy this one overall. I’m giving it 4 out of 5 stars. This review is for an ARC, and reflects my honest opinion.
Based on snippets we saw of Dominic (Dom) in the last book, I kind of knew what was going to happen. Not completely, but I had my suspicions. I did like Dom, but I’m still not sure if he was my favorite Mancini man. He was a sweetheart, but also very reserved and closed off for the majority of the book. That ending was beyond adorable, and I was so happy to find out Blanca’s love story will be told.
I liked Valentina (Val) a lot, and also Ryder. I don’t want to spoil anything plot wise, but this book featured one of my favorite tropes. I loved how much both of their families made appearances. Usually I’m not a huge fan of flashbacks, but it only happened a few times, and I thought it was nice to see their past. I think they made an amazing couple, although I was expecting more steam while reading. These two had to fight for their happily ever after, but it was so worth it in the end.
I can’t believe another trilogy is completed by this amazing duo of authors. That being said, I’m super excited to get back to The Baileys. If you haven’t tried reading anything by Piper Rayne yet, what are you waiting for? They write amazing contemporary romance, and I’m always here for it.
