“My first impression of Vivian Winslow’s novel, is that the tone and style reminded me of Danielle Steele or VC Andrews. High praise indeed, as in my humble opinion those are some big shoes. Particularly VC Andrews, whom I adored, and Vivian can definitely take a stroll in those shoes.” — Reads & Reels“I do not know what to say. I am an emotional wreck after reading this book. So just a word … just a word of warning so you are prepared. This book is so packed with emotions. You can feel them. Some are good but some are gut-wrenching. Make you want to scream at the book. But when an author can make you feel this way, she is truly someone special.” — Kimmie Sue’s Book Review

In the wake of the scandal, Poppy moves to Paris at the behest of her aunt, the Countess Domel, who, unbeknownst to Poppy, intends to find a wealthy husband for her niece in order to ensure her future. When she meets Henri Olin, the passionate and seductive illegitimate son of one of France’s most powerful politicians, his political and social ideology introduces Poppy to a world very different from her own. Yet, Poppy ultimately learns that everything comes at a price, even love. After suffering a devastating loss, Poppy finds herself alone and virtually penniless, and is forced to make her way back to America to piece together the remnants of her life in New York City. Throughout The Gilded Flower Trilogies and the Wildflowers Series, you’ve had a glimpse of Poppy’s many faces. Now, here’s your chance to see how her past influenced the person she’d become.
EDITORIAL COMMENTS:
“Seeing Poppy at a younger age was really different. I know her as this older, stronger person and to see her before she was that woman was nice. Seeing the pain and struggles that started out her life’s path to the woman she is in the rest of the books made me feel more connected with her . . . . This is a must read series for me. I feel invested in each one of their lives and I can’t wait for the next book to get more insight to Poppy.” — Weet Weet’s Bookshelf
“This book was just absolutely amazing. I love books where the leading lady is strong, and doesn’t just sit around for the other shoe to drop. She gets out and lives her life regardless of what’s thrown at her. It’s simply inspiring. This book will have you gripping the pages!” — Blogging with A
“What a heartbreaking, fantastic tale! Wild Poppy takes you on a wild ride with a wild girl, I could hardly keep up with her. She has some very life altering troubles, the fact that at the end of the day she doesn’t give up, speaks volumes of this girls character. I love stories where the leading girl doesn’t just lay down and give up. I was silently cheering for her from chapter one. And then just as I was getting comfortable in the story, the author went and flipped the script. I never knew what was coming next and I loved it! Can’t wait to read the next in this series!” — Books and Boys Book Blog
“Vivian has written her best book to date . . . . Poppy is amazing to say the least. The strongest and smartest female character I have read and cannot imagine finding another one like her. I could read 3 more books about her. Poppy has seemed to lived a hundred life’s and want more happiness for her. I wanted to be there for all of it. To know her every thought.” —2 Brains of Book Reviewers

Wild Poppy(Wildflowers book4) by Vivian Winslow is the fourth book in her wildflower series. I love this series and recommend if you haven’t read the first three books. I love this series a d this book like the others took me on an emotional rollercoaster ride and at times my heart was breaking I also had a hard time putting it down once I started reading. This is Poppy’s story and she finds love and also sadness. .Can Poppy find happiness? Find out what happens next. I highly recommend this book and I can’t wait to read more.
Wild Poppy is the fourth book by Vivian Winslow in the Wildflower series. This is the book I had been waiting for. We learn what happened to Poppy Baron as a child and young adult and in to turn we really start to find out why she is they way she is.
This book did not disappoint me one bit, it was even better than I expected and found myself going through all of the emotions with Poppy. I felt her pain when her heart was broken and I felt her joy when she was happy in her life.
She wasn’t perfect by any stretch but she wasn’t the cold heartless woman I got the impression she was when I was first introduced to her. She was a woman who forced herself to be strong to protect not only herself but her family
This book has a very special place in my heart and so does Poppy.
Wild Poppy is book four in the Wildflower series by Vivian Winslow and is a story not to be missed. This is one story that the whole series practically started with. In earlier books she is the matriarch of her world but in this story we follow her and the sad life she started with. Poppy is alone and heartbroken and left with no choice other than one and it is that one she will regret her whole life. Vivian has done a wonderful job on Poppy’s story and it is very moving. It was empowering to see her come from someone so broken to coming alive once again.
As with the other books in the series Vivian has done a great job and Wild Poppy should not be missed.

This is my fourth book by this author and also in this series. We first met Poppy in Blossoming Flower and her character intrigued me at that time. This story takes us back to when Poppy was younger and explains a lot of why she is where she is today. I loved her strength and she hung on when things happened in her life that would break most.
Ive sincerely enjoyed this series and can’t wait to jump into the 5th book, there are characters throughout that Id still like to read more about and hope that I find them somewhere in other books.
This author has a way of putting her words together to form a beautiful piece of work and the flow of her stories is seamless.
Although each one could possible be read as a standalone Id highly recommend reading them all in order just because they are beautiful and there are some carry overs of characters throughout.
Awesome!

Well this fourth book was quite the eye opener. This was a complete insight to how Poppy came to be the person she is and how it effected her family. This was an nice insight to the underlying plot.
It was a nice change of pace to go back into the past of this series. It was nice to see how Poppy and Gustavo’s relationship progressed and how it came to be what it ended as. I could just feel the chemistry between them and it really brought life to the book. I cannot wait to be able to read more from this series and find out how it all ends.

This is the fourth book I’ve read by Vivian Winslow in a short time span because her writing, especially in this particular series is completely addictive. Each time I read one of her novels I am impressed with how well written, strong and respectable her female characters are. Each supporting character in the books have been just as captivating.
Wild Poppy is everything I had hoped it would be, as I’ve been reading along this series I’ve found myself wondering who Poppy truly is and being able to hear the backstory of her youth was incredibly satisfying. I love that the ending left me craving even more of Poppy’s story and as if I wasn’t already invested in the series I can’t wait to get my hands on the final installment!
Wild Poppy by Vivian Winslow is the fourth book in her Wildflowers series and do NOT believe when you are told that you can read it as a standalone, well, ok, I guess theoretically you could but I would not recommend as having read the previous 3 books and met the older Poppy, it gave so much more dimension to the book that you will miss if you have not read the first books. I know that she is also majorly in the Gilded series and I have unfortunately not read the books in that series and once I have completed the Wildflowers series, I will go back to that one as Vivian is an amazing story teller!
Wild Poppy is the beginning of Poppy Koslowski’s story – she is young and formerly rich; her father is indicated for a massive Ponzi scheme and her life gets turned upside down overnight. She moves to Paris where her aunt is trying to find her a wealthy husband and she has no idea … She meets Henri Olin who is reckless and impulsive and passionate (and FRENCH) and he sweeps her off her feet – he introduces Poppy to a world completely different to hers … well, unfortunately there are no free lunches and Poppy ends up returning to New York after experiencing a devastating loss …
Still, she is young and has her life ahead of her and like all of us, she has many more choices to make and this book does end with a cliff hanger so there is no other choice for us but to go on and read Golden Poppy …

We finally get Poppy’s story! I highly recommend reading from book 1 to understand more of the story and get to know all events prior to this book.
I really enjoyed getting to read this story as we finally get to understand Poppy.
This has been a great series and cant wait for more!
Wild Poppy by Vivian Winslow is the fourth book in her Wildflowers Series and is spectacular! If you have read any of the previous books you will see Poppy pop into those books as well. Now Poppy gets her own story and I couldn’t be more excited! I love how Vivian has shown how Poppy was as a childhood and what shaped her into the woman she has become.
Poppy’s life has been turned upside down, her dad goes to prison and her family loses everything. Expectations are put on Poppy to save the family and restore the family fortune, but Poppy has her own plans. Poppy wants to become a journalist and has a certain path she wants to take. She has accepted her fate and is happy again. Then walks in Henri, who comes from a world she used to live in and from France. Can Poppy resist falling in love with Henri? When Poppy returns to America defeated, she runs smack into someone from her past. Will this be her one chance at finding love again? Or will her past relationship hold her hostage? This book had all the feels. I just love Poppy Koslowski and Vivian Winslow!
