“I’ve heard that boys with motorcycles have less-than-noble intentions.”“Not a boy,” Beck said. “And you heard right.”Luna da Rosa is America’s Vegan Best Friend. The self-made billionaire is a flower-crowned hippie whose Instagram feed is as popular as Wild Heart, her vegan makeup company. When she’s not changing the cosmetics industry, she’s dazzling her online fans with kombucha recipes—until … she’s dazzling her online fans with kombucha recipes—until Wild Heart is caught in a scandal, destroying her reputation as a cheerful do-gooder.
Beck Mason is the prodigal son of Miami’s most notorious biker gang. But Beck left his criminal family to start Lucky Dog, rescuing dogs who need the most help… except the surly ex-outlaw never realized leading a struggling nonprofit with a ragtag crew would be so damn hard. They’re in dire need of cash—and fast.
Luna believes working at Lucky Dog will fix her image problem and get Beck the money he needs. It’s a win-win, right? Except Beck doesn’t like the sunny, free-spirited—okay beautiful—billionaire. He sure as hell doesn’t trust Luna not to use him just to make herself look good.
Sure, Beck’s grumpy, stubborn pride and meat-eating ways irritates Luna. Even though his big-heart-and-big-beard-combo is dangerously sexy. And they really shouldn’t have shared The Kiss to End All Kisses on the back of his motorcycle one night…
But as the bohemian billionaire and the burly biker give into their electrifying attraction, will their differences keep them apart? Or will they finally learn to trust their wild hearts?
Author’s Note: Big, grumpy, bearded hero. Happy-go-lucky hippie heroine. Snarky banter. Opposites that don’t so much attract as combust. Motorcycle sex. Steamy Miami nights. Four lady billionaire best friends. All the rescue dogs. Major heart-feels.more
Do you love dogs? What about hippie chicks with hearts of gold who want to make the world a better place? How about tough, grumpy motorcycle-riding dudes who are secretly soft and squishy on the inside? If so, Wild Open Hearts is absolutely for you.
This is definitely a case of opposites attract, but also…not. Externally, Beck and Luna couldn’t be more different. In reality, they’re two sides fo the same coin, and that becomes more apparent as the story progresses. I loved getting to know them as characters, observing their growth as they got to know each other and themselves better, and watching their love story unfold.
Nolan does a brilliant job bringing each character into the other’s world as they figure how they fit together and why they belong together. And this happy reader is grateful to be along for the ride.
We meet the 3rd Billionaire from Bluewater in Kathryn Nolan’s book. Luna da Rosa enters into a scandal that the vegan/animal lover needs to figure out how to get of. We find out that the manufacturer that she signed off on tests the products on animals. Luna has to fix her image FAST. Her team decides that she needs to work and donate to a non-profit company to help her image.
Enter Beck Mason, former prince to a MC empire which he left. He now runs a non-profit animal rehabilitation center for abused dogs. He wants nothing of the limelight that comes with a billionaire he believes that is using his non-profit for her own benefit.
When they say opposites attract. They are not kidding with these two! Luna, or rainbow billionaire vegan, as Beck likes to call her and the tatted up meat eating former prince to an MC empire are as opposite as you can get. Luna realises that she moved away from what her core beliefs were when she started Wild Hearts cosmetic company. She let the money start to control what she did with her life. As she immersed herself in helping Beck, she goes back to her true self.
The chemistry is HOT between these two! Kathryn blows me away with the characters that she created. I didn’t want the story to end! I can’t wait for book 4 so I can meet these two again!
Another fabulous book in this series!
Luna is a self-made billionaire who made a big mistake! A scandal related to her cruelty free makeup line is what prompts Luna determined to make things right and bring her back to the principles and mission that started her on the road to success. She decides she should volunteer at Lucky Dog a facility that brings in strays and finds them good and loving homes. She learns that Beck (who runs the shelter) is in need of funding to keep their doors open. And the fact that he was a “bad-boy” who got out of the Devil’s motorcycle club makes Luna want to help even more.
When a stray dog both Beck and Luna have been feeding arrives at the shelter, Beck finally agrees to allow Luna volunteer, but with stipulations.
I really love these characters and the way they both needed each other to make their (and the animals) lives complete. I can’t wait for Daisy’s story! I hope these authors consider extending this series or start a new series once this one has been published!
I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
