She’s about to walk on the wild side . . . While filling the display case in her bakery, the bell over the door sounds and Tessa O’Hara looks up to see the man of her dreams. Within thirty seconds he asks her out for a beer. But after four months of dating, she discovers he’s an undercover DEA agent-and he’s investigating her possible role in her ex-husband’s drug business. For Tess, this means … this means their relationship is over.
Brock disagrees. He’s committed to his anti-drug mission, but he’s fallen in love with the beautiful woman who’s as sweet as her cupcakes-and he’ll do anything to win her back. Standing between Tess and Brock are their own exes, one of them a drug lord who’s determined to get what he wants. Now as danger threatens, can Brock break the rules he’s lived by and let loose his wild side to protect the woman he loves?

I don’t think there’s a book by Kristen Ashley I wouldn’t recommend. She’s just an amazing writer that makes her romances realistic. Every character has flaws. You just wish you could be in their inner circle to either give them advice or comfort them, laugh with them, throttle them! LOL Wild man was the beginning of one of my favorite series …
Do not pass up this series, you will regret it. Hot steamy sex scenes, great characters, good story building. Don’t read if you’re afraid of sex!
Love Tess and Brock these two are meant to be. 4 times reading this one too!!!
Audiobook edit: I just love this series. This book was a fun listen as well. Really all of Kristen Ashley’s audio books are excellent. Some are definitely better than others, but they’re all good.
As always, especially in this series, Kristen Ashley does not disappoint!
This story straight up gave me a huge book hangover and I loved every single second of it!
Brock and Tess are an amazing couple. Both have a heck of a lot of history they carry the brunt of on their shoulders, and yet, that’s a weight they can share together if they were to allow it to happen.
Brock is something else! A hard man, a man set in …
One of my favorite KA series.
Love her books
It was a wonderful book. I enjoyed the main characters and how they reacted with each other. It was beautiful to see how it all came together. All the additional characters were amazing as well. I definitely recommend this book and this series.
I didn’t particularly enjoy the first book in the Dream Man series, and sadly this one didn’t get much better. I usually love books that have a tough alpha male character, but for some reason I find it difficult to connect with the characters in this series. Even though, I’ll still probably give the third one a shot.
Great book! I love Kristen Ashley! I love this series!
Shaking my head at the hero. He may be cute, but he is not forthcoming with info to the sweet baking heroine. Like his name. Or that he has kids.
My big complaint is how easily Tessa forgave Brock for a serious infraction and violation of trust. She is a real sweetheart though and Brock, the H, really appreciates her. Of course, how could he not …
Oh my word Brock Lucas is something else, “no,” he bit off. “I was angry with you, seein’ as I effed my woman for the first effin’ time, she made me a promise when my cum was still inside her and then just hours later she reneged on that promise. Now I’m here ’cause there’s a goddamned for sale sign planted in your front lawn and I walk in here …
