Dominick rushed home after getting devastating news, but it may have been the best place for him to go.
This is a great series. The characters are all wonderful. The books are all well edited. The stories are easy to read with an entertaining storyline.
This was a great add-on story to a wonderful series. Joseph and Dominick were both so full of care and concern, and both were heroically protective of Dominick’s orphaned nephews. I loved that the nephews were connected to a very special young alpha, and I loved the chance to see the three connect after all the pain they’d gone through. Gray and Simon were a hard couple to follow, but I fell for Dominick and Joseph right away. This book had some sad moments, but there was nowhere near the level of angst and danger of the first three books. I enjoyed it just as much, though, and loved all that it added to the original tale. I want to go back and read the epilogue of book three, now that I have new knowledge of some of the characters. This series was fantastic, and I’m sad to say goodbye to all these terrific people. I loved them, and I definitely recommend this series.
This is an enjoyable, sweet & heartwarming MM paranormal romance with some heartache & a undertone of a “second-chance” The plot is quite well-written with some unexpected surprises. The characters are well-developed & quite unique with their approach to their relationship & the children involved in it.
There is: a young man (Joseph aka Joey) comes across a dying female mountain lion shifter (Krista) who begs him to take her two young children (Avery & Blake) to her older brother (Dominick aka Nicky) the man responsible for his sad memories, a caring friend (Vicky), mountain lion shifters, wolf shifters, mages, a conclave of mages, a were council, twists & turns, intrigue, suspense, drama, tragedy, protectiveness, memories, secrets, deceit, confrontations, explanations, attempted apologies, rejection, advice, decisions, attraction, jealousy, surprises, choices, indecision, compromises, some steam & satisfying conclusion
When a series finishes with an amazing epilogue usually you want to know everything you could have missed in the story. Therefore, this book 4 in the Triad of Magic series is all about closing circles. Of course you can enjoy Joseph and Dominick second chance story as part of the series but I loved that also is a piece of the puzzle. I always considered myself a completist so having a long and detailed explanation for a whole missing part of the story is priceless. I don’t want to spoil anything for you but after this book you will find that everything settled just fine. Brilliant!!
I received this book as an ARC and this is my honest opinion.
Love that this book wraps up the few questions left unanswered in Soul Magic. This was a good ending to the series. Happy that we find out how Avery and Blake survived and how they reunited with Riley
Home is where your paw is
Another whopper of a beginning that ties directly in to the end of Soul Magic. Joseph is thrust into a new world but I think he handles it with aplomb. My heart breaks for Dom and his nephews. Dom just wants to do what’s best for his nephews, who are adorable, and I appreciated how Joseph offered to help even though he’s unsure of things.
I liked the connections that were brought up via the boys and others that appeared on this story. I do wish that Dom and Joseph would have talked more instead of assuming things, but I loved how fierce and protective Joseph is and how he wouldn’t back down with Dom. I really enjoyed how this book filled in the pieces from the last story and the reunion that occurred. A sweet story of finding home in the most surprising way.
