One is new to love.
One is bad at love.
One denies love.
Twenty-one-year-old, foul-mouthed Olympian, Sullivan Meadows, just made a huge mistake. She told her bodyguards—her buddies, her pals—they could take her virginity. Words forever engrained in her brain.
And theirs.
Akara Kitsuwon & Banks Moretti are best friends, sworn to protect each other and their client Sullivan. But upon hearing … protect each other and their client Sullivan. But upon hearing her confession, their reactions aren’t what Sulli expects.
They’re all friends anyway.
Just friends.
Solid, good friends.
Right?
As the three embark on the road to Yellowstone, tension builds and close quarters leave no secrets behind. Feelings for her childhood friendship with Akara—that teasing, flirty leader—grow hotter, but so do her feelings for Banks, the rugged, heart-melting Marine.
While Sulli is out west to free-solo her dad’s old climbing routes, the only true destination the three of them are certain of is Yellowstone.
Love & romance are totally up in the air.
Wild Like Us is an MFM Romance and Book 8 in the Like Us Series.

Wild Like Us is Akara, Sullivan, and Banks’ first book! We meet these characters in the prior books and to closer we got to this book, the more excited I was to finally have their story.
Sullivan Meadows is a character I will always love. Not only because of who her parents are, but because the way she’s always herself. I love her personality. She’s the type of person to say what’s on her mind and love with all her heart. She’s strong for doing what she coed and for believing in the endless of possibilities.
Both Akara and Banks were characters that surprised me. To finally know more about their personalities was really interesting. Akara has this tough interior and exterior but when he feels this types of emotions, it’s felt deeply. I loved seeing his character development. Banks has this soft side to him that always showed more when it came to Sulli. I love how he believed the things she did and supported her through everything. I also really liked his friendship with Akara. They have the type of friendship that’s worth having around for life and learning more about each other throughout the way.
I have been waiting to read this story until this trilogy within a series was complete, but I just couldn’t wait any longer. There was just so many elements to this story that intrigued me. A strong woman falling for her two bodyguards? Yes, please!
Sullivan ‘Sulli’ Meadows, an Olympic swimmer, may be a strong, accomplished athlete, but inside she just wants to find herself and embrace new experiences. Sadly, (or not) the Meadows family name means her next big adventure/road trip includes her long-time bodyguard Akara ‘Kits’ Kitsuwon and his partner Banks Moretti. The relationship between this trio was complicated before the trip, so you can only imagine what happens on a crisscross trip to Yellowstone. Delicious angst, that’s what!
Sulli’s vulnerability is a big part of this story for me. Sometimes I cringed at how open she was with Kits and Banks, but I definitely admired her courage to admit what and who she wants. Now out of the two men in Sulli’s life I was drawn to both Kits and Banks. I just have to say, Sulli is one lucky girl!
This is actually the first book I have read in this series. I definitely should have read other books in the series first to help me understand Sullivan’s large extended family, but this didn’t ruin the story for me at all. Yes this ends on a massive cliffhanger, but I think waiting anxiously for the next book is worth reading this story now.
I didn’t see it coming when I first found out that Sulli would be paired with Akara and Banks but I was pleasantly surprised. I have read and loved books where there are three people in a relationship together, so I was looking forward to seeing how the authors would tackle it with these characters. I knew that this throuple would get three books in total so I knew the pacing would be slower. I actually love that the authors take there time with their characters and don’t rush through it. It helps me in connecting to the characters more. Sulli is the daughter of one of my all time favorite characters Ryke, who you may have met if you have read the Addicted series. I really loved that she’s athletic and doesn’t fit the stereotypical image of a woman in most romance novels. She is self conscious about her looks and body. Every character that Krista and Becca have created are so unique and imperfect.
Sulli has had a crush on Akara for a long time, and has been catching feelings for Banks since he been transferred to be one of her bodyguards. These two bodyguards aren’t indifferent to her as well. I enjoyed the pacing of the relationship. It helped me in believing that these three were a good match for each other. I loved seeing them opening up to each other more and creating a stronger bond between them. Banks and Akara were just so supportive of Sulli and reassured her when she was doubting herself. I also loved the bond between Banks and Akara, they were loyal and honest. Their unconventional situation is going to have people talk and judge in the upcoming two books, and I really look forward to seeing how they will handle everything. I specifically look forward to Ryke reacting to this news. PS: The scenes where they were intimate were very hot!
A HEART WRENCHING MFM EMOTION-FILLED STORY
Sullivan Minnie Meadows, Sulli, is a six-foot twenty-one-year-old Princess of Philly. She is athletic and has been in love with her bodyguard, Akara Kitsuwon, since she was a teen. She has also developed feelings for Banks Morretti, her floating bodyguard and Akara’s best friend.
The three embark on a trip to Yellowstone after Sulli makes an embarrassing declaration to the two about her virginity.
I love the way that Banks is the voice of reason throughout the story, even though there is an underlying physical and mental problem from his past. He lets Akara know that Akara is in total denial of his love for Sulli.
The thoughts and actions of the two men pulls at the reader’s heartstrings when both are willing to sacrifice for the other, no matter the trials they have gone through.
Wonderful characters. I know some fans didn’t want the relationships to fall this way, but Akara was never going to make any advances on his own if the writers wanted to keep him in character.
Some of the writing was still a bit unrefined, that really isn’t how the word crave should be used, but I enjoy the characters and interesting plots enough that odd word usage doesn’t detract from the story much.
I am looking forward to the next book.
Sullivan Minnie Meadows has finally arrived. Her story has been a long time coming, fans of the series and the Meadows family in general have been waiting for years for her time to shine. And let me tell you, the girl did not disappoint.
Sulli is a 21-year-old virgin who just told her bodyguards she wanted one of them to take her virginity. Yes, it was as awkward as it sounds, and now they’re all going on a road trip together. Stuck in a car and tent for hours, just the three of them. Yikes.
How can I put into word what I’m currently feeling? I can’t tell you why I relate to Sulli so much, I can’t tell you why I was so enamored with her story, but the feelings are there. Sullivan owns my heart and soul. I love everything about her, flaws and all. I love her passion and drive. I love that she speaks her mind, even when it’s embarrassing and ends in misery. I love that she takes no crap, even from people she loves. Not to be dramatic or anything, but I would die for her.
What all of this means is that I went into this expecting the best for her. Because that’s what she deserves. She deserves everything she wants, she deserves the romance, the good times, and the passion she craves. And I wholeheartedly believe that Akara Kitsuwon and Banks Moretti are what makes her happy and what’s best for her.
It’s definitely an unconventional romance. It’s not something she pictured for herself, or what Akara and Banks pictured, but hey, it works. Even with their doubts and fears swirling in their heads, at the end of the day, there was something so effortless when the three of them were together.
I loved Sullivan’s relationship with Akara, the tension has been building there for years after all. And her relationship with Banks was different but just as satisfying, it was sweeter in a way. But surprisingly, I really adored the relationship between Akara and Banks. While they aren’t together romantically, the bond was just as strong and pure. They loved Sulli with everything they had, but they also appreciated and respected each other throughout it all. It transcended a regular friendship.
Now the only thing I can think of is, how will three books of them be enough? This was just the introduction. How can only two other books capture everything that need to be shown? There’s still so much to learn about this triad, especially Banks and Akara. I know I’m just being greedy, but still. For now, I’m just going to bask in the perfection of this story and start counting down the days until book 9.
There’s a lot more I could say, this in no way encompasses what this story gave me. I haven’t mentioned Ryke, Daisy and Winona. Or Sulli and Beckett repairing their friendship. Or how Charlie is kind of a d**k, but in a sweet way I guess. But honestly, Akara, Banks and Sulli deserve their moment. They deserve their spotlight, and all the attention I can give them, so that’s what I’m going to give them.
Loved the characters and the story. These authors never disappoint!
I was really on the fence with this book. I was weary of how Banks would fit with Sulli and Akara. Obviously we saw Sulli and Akara getting together but I felt like Banks came out of nowhere as there wasn’t much buildup in the previous books. I am also not a fan of love triangles. I’ve seen people say that this isn’t a love triangle but I think it is. Sulli even compares their relationship to Elena, Stefan, and Damon. The love triangle evolves over the course of the book into a V Triad. There is only a little angst and jealousy which is why this book is different. Banks and Akara have a strong relationship with each other and I think that really helped. Overall I think that the Ritchie Twins pulled off another hit! I cannot wait for the audiobook and who the narrators are.
I trust in Krista and Becca Richie and when I heard about this book because I love the series so much I knew that it would be epic and it exceeded my expectations.
Banks stole my heart in this book I used to think Thatcher was my favorite Moretti Brother but I think I may have switched it up! He has this soft side that we had not seen very much of and when she shows emotion it is everything.
Akara always seemed like this hardass but inside he is actually this big ole teddy bear especially when it comes to Sulli!
And Sullivan, I always thought that she might be awkward when it came down to the steamy stuff but that girl held her own and is tough as nails but I think we always knew that.
I am excited to see where this story takes them! As a Triad they actually make sense. And they make it seem like it it could work for them. I was very emotional with this story, Krista and Becca always know how to pull on my heartstrings in the Like Us series. Every emotion I could have had during this book I did! AND I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT! The title of this book is actually perfect for the 3 of them! I literally just finished this book about 1 hour ago and I had to get my thoughts down because this love story is going to be epic!
This book is not a love triangle is is about 3 people that are in a relationship together, all three of them together! It’s 2020 and we find relationships in every different shape, size and number!
Thank you Krista and Becca for giving us this epic romance and I cannot wait to see where book 2 and 3 take us in the Banks, Akara and Sulli story because honestly they all deserve the very best!
I LOVED Sulli, Kits and Banks story! K&B blew all my expectations out of the water and this book was so much better than anything I could have imagined. The tension, chemistry and love between all three of these characters is amazing. Yes this book is MFM, a V Triad, but regardless of that, the love between these three extremely amazing characters was one of my favorite books of 2020.
I’m still wrapping my head around all of my thoughts and feelings after having finished it, so my review isn’t complete. I’ll be adding more to it after I do my re-read, I loved it that much.
