“WILD IRISH was PURE PERFECTION!! This sparkling gem, which is chock full of adventure, toe-curling swoon, angsty emotion and breathtaking passion, tantalizes the senses, tugs at the heartstrings and provides the ULTIMATE romantic escape.” Epic Romance ReviewsI went searching for trouble and I found it. I just didn’t expect to find it in the form of Cillian Gallagher. The gorgeously tatted lead … gorgeously tatted lead singer and guitarist of Wild Irish, Cillian is everything I’ve always tried to stay away from. He’s wild and dangerous. And exactly what I need to cross off number four on my bucket list.
Kiss a complete stranger.
It should have been that simple. But I wasn’t prepared for the scorching heat that would ignite a passion, leaving us both gasping for air.
It was never meant to be more than a fling.
I didn’t expect that when I left Ireland, I’d be leaving a piece of my heart, or how our lives would be intertwined even when we were thousands of miles apart.
One last request.
One life-changing list.
One month of no regrets.
I ran from my boring, simple life, straight into the arms of trouble.
The thing with trouble is that it has a way of finding you, no matter where you go.

Short but sweet. This story just pulls you in. Has all the feels. Delaney is touring Ireland after a major loss and another betrayal. Trying to complete a bucket list of sorts. Where she meets Cillian. They seem to rescue each other out of their darkness and have an instant connection. I like the story. Relatable about trust issues and finding love and fighting for it.
C.M. Seabrook is my latest go-to author when I want a steamy, satisfying love story with a touching HEA. This trilogy includes three standalones featuring Cillian, Owen and Shane, three members of the fictitious band Wild Irish. My personal favorite was Owen’s story, Tempting Irish, because of the second-chance trope.
This author writes from the first person dual POV perspective, which immerses the reader into the story. Her alpha heroes ride the line between crazy-in-love and just-plain-crazy with heartfelt aplomb.
Delaney travels to Ireland trying to fulfill her dead sister’s buck list. She is devastated by her sister’s disappearance. She is not sure she can live without her.
Cillian is devastated for his brother’s treason. He is the lead singer of and Irish group called Wild Irish. He is stubborn and headstrong. When he is angry, he doesn’t listen to reason.
I have to say that I’m not very fun of rock or film star romance so when I got the opportunity to read this book, I had some doubts but something in the cover talked to me and I decided to give it a try and the most important thing is that I don’t regret it even a little bit. I did love the story, the raw feelings of both characters, the need of support for each other, the emotion and connection, and the calm and peace they feel when they are together. I could feel all the emotions so deep in my heart. I smiled, I laughed, I sighed and I cried and cried some more.
Probably 4.5 for me. Really nice story – a little self-doubt, a lot of angst, and love that shows up unexpectedly. Well edited.
Delaney has come to Ireland to grieve the loss of her sister. She is determined to fulfill her sister’s bucket list – most of which involves visiting places in Ireland. Just as she is starting her journey, Cillian comes barreling into her life. He has his own grief – most of which involves a perceived betrayal by his brother. Cillian feels some obligation to help Delaney, as his recklessness, in part, caused her accident. Their physical attraction to each other is instant and combustible. Both think it will be a one and done situation, but this is a love story right? As they uncover the deep emotions the other is hiding, they begin a whirlwind tour of Ireland together. Their feelings grow, but as always, there is a little bump along the way. This one involves the fact that Cillian is part of a wildly popular band, which means things in his life tend to get photographed or recorded and posted online. Which means people see said photos and videos, and one of them shows up claiming to be Delaney’s fiancee. At the same time that this explodes in Cillian’s life, his estranged brother is injured and in the hospital. Cillian leaves to be with his brother and Delaney takes the opportunity to return home. Will this be the end? Will Cillian turn his back on love? Or, will he learn from his mistake and claim what his heart wants? Will Delaney forgive him and open her heart to love?
This was quick, enjoyable read. Nice plot, good movement of the story, and not to many bumps in the road. Enjoy.
Chantel has done it again – and this time there are super sexy Irish accents so YAY!!!! Delaney and Cillian are absolute treasures both running away from something not realizing that they are actually running towards something even greater. Who doesn’t love a destination HEA! Enough steam to fog up any Irish moor and heart stopping love story to make you think oh wow these 2 are just perfect! Couldn’t put it down which of course no leave me wanting more – always a Catch 22 which reading authors we adore. But I will just have to anxiously await the next missive from Ms Seabrook.
Delaney is on a mission to fulfill her sisters bucket list, It takes her to Ireland, where she knows no one and she is in a bad place, lost her sister/best friend, caught her fiance cheating, and recently lost her job. She has no idea how she is going to mark off all the items she just feels compelled to do it. On her way to the first place she gets ran off the road crashes through a fence, by some manic who was driving crazy. No she has no vehicle, no idea where she is, and her phone is broken in the crash, oh and their are sheep everywhere.
Cillian Gallagher is a brooding bad boy, he is angry at everyone and everything , but he feels compelled to help Delaney after he made her crash, he offers his place to stay until she can call a tow truck. These two broken people are beautiful together, they start as acquaintance and then become more. He shows her all around Ireland and she helps to make him happy, which is not something he’s used too. Let’s not forget he is the lead singer of the hugely popular Wild Irish, and is trying to quit the band. Delaney’s ex fiance shows up to try and get her back. Cillian doesn’t trust anyone and pushes her away.
I was a sucker for Cillian he made me so mad but then his Irish accent melted me, He was so angry about life and you could feel him start to thaw when he was with Delaney, all the feels in this book. Delaney, that woman had a beautiful soul. I loved this story and I am fangirling all over Wild Irish.
I am addicted to this author and jumped at the chance to read this ARC.
****4.75 Wildly Spectacular Stars****
Wow! I don’t know if I can put into words how much I loved this book! So much so that I read it once on Sunday and again on Monday. It was Spectacular!
A little background:
Cillian began turning inward after his mother left the family. He trusts no one, especially after he thinks his brother slept with his girlfriend. He’s closed off and broody to hide his soft center. He has been running for three months, avoiding the band, who now threatens to sue him if he doesn’t fulfill his contract and his brother who he thinks betrayed him.
Delaney is trying to heal from the death of her sister. She wishes it had been her to suffer from CF and die, feeling her sister deserved to live her life instead of her. Now she has traveled to Ireland to fulfill her sister’s bucket list…with not one item on there that she really wants to do.
We have the gorgeous, tatted, sexy and tempting Cillian Gallagher who is the lead singer of the Irish Rock Band ‘Wild Irish.’ He’s had a rough go and left the band. By all appearances, his brother had bedded Cillian’s girlfriend but looks can be deceiving. But he is stubborn to the extreme and refuses to listen to anyone.
The beautiful Delaney is on a mission. Kiss a complete stranger. Her beloved sister, Mauve, has just passed away from cystic fibrosis. Find her Happiness. You see, she promised her sister that she would travel to Ireland where their grandmother was born and complete the sister’s bucket list. Have a soul shattering O. It is there that she runs into Cillian…or should I say he barely missed running into her with his car and ran her off the road. They are instantly drawn to each other when he goes to see that she is not injured.
She has a month, no regrets allowed, to complete the bucket list before she has to head back to the USA. But her ‘run in’ with Cillian seriously changes things. They fit like puzzle pieces and fall in love. When her ex fiance shows up and approaches Cillian he quickly convinces him that Delaney is his fiance and he has come to take her home. Let me just say that Cillian didn’t take that well and jumped to all the wrong conclusions while shattering her heart.
What a ride!! Loved it!!
A broody Irish Rocker, a grieving American, and a list. Sometimes it takes something extraordinary to bring two people together. This is the first book that I’ve read by this auhor. Cillian and Delaney are Amazing together. They meet courtesy of bad driving and sheep, and spend some amazing time together. But hurt feelings, miscommunication, and mistrust get in the way. I love how they feel so real together, and how she has no clue who he is to begin with. This is a beautiful story of instalove that gets denied but eventually wins out over the obstacles in their path.
