International Bestselling Author Ava Miles kicks off her new series with an irreverent hero, two well-intentioned matchmakers, and a heroine as beautiful as a wild Irish rose.
Trevor Merriam doesn’t like being ordered around by his older brother, much less to a sleepy Irish village to complete a business deal for their family company.
Worse: the owner of the land he needs to buy doesn’t want … needs to buy doesn’t want him there. In fact, Becca O’Neill loathes him so much that she won’t even serve him the award-winning scones her famed Wild Irish Rose Bed and Breakfast is known for.
Even worse than that (and not getting scones is bad in Trevor’s book): Becca has an ornery cat, a mischievous Irish setter, and a lovesick alpaca that delights in chasing him around. Then there’s the woman herself. If she weren’t so indignant about his business offer, they might have a good romance budding.
Worst of all: his Uncle Arthur and Aunt Clara Hale show up from Dare Valley hoping to help him get hitched—not exactly the help he was looking for.
How in the world is he going to make this deal with his heart—and his dignity—staying intact?

An enduring family story.
Loved every word every page. Unhappy when it ended wanted more Irish Rose!
The Merriams take the world by storm but one women will not be deterred by their might as she displays remarkable inner strength to overcome many obstacles and fears. Intrigued by how the entire town rallied around her and her secret.
I really enjoyed the story and the characters; plan to get others in the series now!
This was an excellent read. A book of true love and devotion. The characters are interesting and yet you can not help but feel sorry for Trevor and predictment he finds himself in.
Loved it. Loved it. Loved it.
I enjoyed this book. I liked the characters. I loved ‘traveling’ to Ireland, Ava Miles made me feel like I was there.
Great story & romance, well written
Enjoyed the interplay of characters going from serious to playful with Buttercup, the alpaca. A unique story line from agoraphobia to tough business.
Good fun book well written
Trevor is an oil magnate who plans to buy Becca’s property to start onshore oil rigs.
Becca is an agoraphobic but high functioning individual. She manages a B&B, she has animals, creates yarn, starting a high-end craft operation. I liked the fact the Becca was not a victim. That she was living life as positively as she could.
Trevor gets thrown out on introducing himself and then sneakily gets his aunt and uncle to spend their second honeymoon at the Inn.
Almost all of Trevor’s family are interesting characters and make for a good read.
Becca’s pets what with Buttercup having a crush on Trevor and Hatheshup stealing Trevors clothes all keep the reader engaged.
I would definitely go back for more of this author.
Wonderful examination and protrayal of a person suffering from agoraphobia.
Great story line. Can’t wait to read the next book.
A family wants Irish land and has difficult decisions regarding business to make.

Sweet romance in Irieland and family relationships
Couldn’t put it down! Trevor and Becca were perfect for each other! I loved the different ways the family members supported both of them!
