„You fit right here with me.”
Another book, another journey and another unforgettable love story! Wild Highway is a real rollercoaster of emotions. This second chance romance swept me off my feet and it has gone straight and deep into my heart. Gemma and Easton’s story is a perfect, heartfelt small town romance!
Gemma is one of those women who’ve had a hard life, but they would not let it break them. Everything that this girl has gone through has driven her to prove to herself and to the world that she can achieve everything she wants. Gemma is strong-willed, smart and persistent. However, professional success is not fully satisfying and it will not fulfill Gemma’s biggest dream – to have a family.
Easton is the epitome of a sexy rancher – he’s rugged, hardworking and proud of his roots. He can be really mean if you’ll get on his bad side, but for his friends and family he’s loyal to the bone. He sure can hold a grudge and act out of pride, but when he wants something he won’t rest until he reaches it.
These two share a past that didn’t bring them closure. Although many years have passed and they were many miles apart, and the parting left disappointment and resentment, their chemistry is still palpable and electrifying. None of them had plans for reconnection, but the heart wants what it wants. However, Gemma and Easton have a lot to explain and forgive so that they can trust each other and heal old wounds.
Devney Perry has created a beautiful story about forgiveness and finding your place in the world. This heartwarming journey is filled to the brim with emotions and I couldn’t put it down! It’s a perfect addition to the Runaway series and I can’t wait to see what else Devney has up her sleeve.
Devney Perry absolutely knocked it out of the park with this story!
As far as I’m concerned, Devney can do no wrong with her incredible story telling. This story is no exception!
“Wild Highway” is a perfect blend of in-depth story telling, gripping romance, and fantastically developed characters. I could not put this story down! It was just the right length to be read in a day (at least for me ).
Gemma and Easton are such perfect characters. Devney always does a great job of creating amazing hero’s and heroine’s. She always makes sure that both main romantic interests are relatable and attention grabbing. You really feel like you are living in the world(s) that Devney Perry creates, experiencing everything alongside the main characters.
The entire concept of the “Runaway” series is so original! It truly catches the readers interest, hooking them from the first chapter. There may be only two “Runaway“ books released so far, but I already love this series! I have no doubt that the next “Runaway“ story, “Quarter Miles”, will be just as amazing as the first two books. I can’t wait to read more runaways stories, as well as any/all of Devney’s other future works.
Devney Perry is one of my favourite authors and I would HIGHLY recommend any one of her stories. You can’t go wrong by reading a Devney novel! Xo
Overall Grade:
Every Devney Perry book feels like a journey of the soul. She has this innate ability to encapsulate the challenges of the human spirit into 300 pages of a story. As you turn each page, you find pieces of yourself scattered within her words. When you finish the book, you feel as though the story has acted as a mirror of your own truths and a scalpel to your heart. At the most elemental level, I trust Devney Perry’s romances to both entertain me and entreat me to think more deeply about the human condition. Her newest book, Wild Highway, the second book of the Runaway series, is no different.
I adored the first book of the series, Runaway Road. For me, Brooks, the hero, was my favorite part of that book. With Wild Highway, I found a heroine who has quickly become one of my Devney Perry favorites. I tend to love broken characters because the journey they undertake holds a depth that you can’t find in a character whose parts aren’t broken. In this book, Gemma won my heart from the beginning. Maybe it’s because I too am trying to find a new place to exist. Maybe my past holds scars that make it difficult for me to connect with feelings. Maybe her struggles feel like my struggles. No matter the reason, Gemma’s evolution in Wild Highway bores deep into your soul as you empathize with her hurts. You simply want her hero, Easton, to figure her out from the start of the book and pour love into the fissures of her soul. However, that would be too easy, and Perry carefully constructs a story that allows both her hero and heroine to come to understand themselves AND develop a depth of love that feels essential, even though it might feel painful for the reader.
In terms of her hero, Easton, he too has his complications. While his struggles don’t feel as existential as Gemma’s, they also hold a similar tenor. Where do you find your place in a storied generational family? How do you break free of the bonds of family when that family is your foundation? She wraps these questions into Easton’s character while elaborating them within his gruff and temperamental exterior. This type of hero is my favorite hero because hard exteriors often portend soft underbellies. When that is recognized by the heroine, it makes for exquisite moments of connection. Wild Highway is no different in that sense. Easton’s struggle against falling illustrates Perry’s deft ability to craft chemistry. It’s why you can’t help but to fall in love with every Perry hero and/or heroine, including her Easton and Gemma.
And as is the case with her other books, Devney Perry’s style is seamless here. There is no stumbling over her words. There is no finding yourself lost in her images. Instead, there is a smooth trot through her story, finding yourself galloping to her end. She spins images with her words that help you feel the forever love of her characters, and you feel satiated by the end. Now, once this story ends, more than Runaway Road, you are left feeling bereft. Why? Because the next book in this series feels more connected than the last. I left Wild Highway mourning the fact that I don’t already have Quarter Miles. If Wild Highway is any indication, Quarter Miles story might even be stronger, if that can be imagined.
As I said at the beginning of this review, I trust Devney Perry with romance. I have read her entire book list, and time and time again, she takes little pieces of my heart and soul with her storytelling. Her characters read like real people. Their journeys are mirrors to my life experience, along with the experiences of others, and that makes Perry special. Ultimately, Wild Highway is a beautifully wrought romance about finding your place and your people. It’s about coming home and feeling whole again.

Gemma Lane is leaving behind her fast paced, business focused life in order to help deliver her friend’s Cadillac to California. From living in a junkyard, to running a multimillion dollar cosmetics company, Gemma has built her life from the ground up. But she’s taking some time to figure out what is next, and a stop in Montana to visit another old friend is a necessary part of this journey.
Easton Greer runs his family’s Montana ranch. With his father and grandfather still active in the day to day operations, he often feels like he is still taking[]\=er than the one running the place. When Gemma turns up, he is forced to face the feelings he buried when she left the ranch, besides, he doesn’t believe she’s really left the city behind.
First off, I loved Gemma. She was fierce in her determination to change her situation, though as a result she has made decisions that she regrets in hindsight — not business decisions, but personal ones where she hurt those close to her in her determination to never return to her childhood. Her side-trip to Montana is an attempt to mend a bridge with one of her best friends, running into Easton gives her a chance to make amends with a second.
These two have chemistry! Easton is the one Greer who doesn’t seem excited to have Gemma back in their lives again, but it isn’t hatred, it’s hurt fueling his anger. Even with his anger between them, there is an energy that can’t be denied. Gemma means what she says, but she has to convince Easton that she isn’t going to run off again.
This was a sweet second chance, with a lot of soul searching and reconciliation. The Runaway world is not confined to one town, and as each member of the former runaway crew is introduced and developed, I can’t help but fall further in love with this nation-wide group of people. Kat’s story is next in Quarter Miles, and the teasers dropped throughout Wild Highway have me anticipating it’s arrival!
Love this book so much! Wild Highway is the second book in the awesome Runaway series by Devney Perry.
Gemma Lane is my new favorite heroine by Devney. She’s strong even though she doesn’t think she is. But she is also lonely and just wanted to belong somewhere. My heart broke for her. She had a tough life and even though she had build an empire she felt very lonely.
Gemma is taking a car to California but takes a detour to Montana to visit a friend and ask for forgiveness for something that happened 11 years ago.
Easton Greer can’t believe that Gemma is back after 11 years and he wants her gone.
Holly Hot Cowboy!! Easton was perfect for Gemma and their chemistry was hot.
At first he was an jerk to Gemma but in my opinion it was completely justified. But then he began to see Gemma without the facade she had put on.
One scene in the final chapter was so beautiful and so wonderfully written. It was like watching a movie. Devney Perry is an awesome storyteller.
This book is beautiful and this series is becoming one of my favorites and can’t wait to read about the other runaways.
My Rating: STARS
If I had to choose one word to describe the feeling most predominant in this book it would be desolation. Or maybe longing. Gemma Lane has come a long way from the homeless teenage who left California years ago. Owner of a successful cosmetic company, she sold it for twelve million dollars and took to the road. She visited Londyn (Runaway #1), took the red Caddy and continued the trip to California. Except she made a slight detour to Montana to make amends with an old friend, another one of the homeless kids who lived in the Temecula junkyard.
“I’d spent years trying to fill the hole in my chest with money and business. But even with all the power, the prestige, the fortune, that hole was still there. The numbness remained. I was still just a runaway kid, numb to the world, searching for anything to make her feel.”
With all her millions, all her success, the security that power and position gave her, she was still desolate, still felt homeless. Her sense of desolation increases when she gets to Greer Ranch and Mountain Resort and finds Katherine, happy and secure in her job as manager of the Greer resort, and happy that she found a place within the Greer family. It drove home to Gemma that she didn’t fit in anywhere and she hadn’t found a home. And to top her yearnings, she runs into Easton Greer, old flame, as broody as always, not very welcoming.
“I no longer had anything to prove. I’d shown the world I was more than where I’d come from. I’d made my mark, my fortune and fame. And I’d learned the hard way it was just as hollow as the home where I’d been born. This journey was about searching for a real life. The life money couldn’t buy. I wanted the things I’d never had. Family. Love. Peace.”
I loved this book! I hurt for Gemma and her feelings of despair, masked by a façade of competence and numbness. She left Boston because she realized that for the last year, she didn’t feel anything except the numbness of endless, meaningless days. Her hope is to find her heart, a home, a sense of belonging somewhere along the way. And what she doesn’t realize is that everyone in Greer Ranch love her, appreciate her, welcomed her with open arms, if she only chose to realize it. I loved feeling with Gemma as she woke up her heart again, opened her heart and soul again to feelings, came to realize all she needed and all she wanted was at her arm’s reach, she just needed to work her mind to deal with her past in order to face her future.
“Every step felt heavy. Deep. Like with each one, my feet sank through the hardwood floor, past the concrete foundation and into the earth. Like a tree’s roots taking hold. A wave of emotion welled in my chest and I was crying again. Damn it, I’d cried more in the past twenty-four hours than I had in the last eleven years. Maybe that was expected when someone like me finally found it. Home.”
This book gave me so many feelings, it’s bittersweet, sexy, challenging. I loved the Greer family and the familial love they bestow on Gemma. I felt for Gemma as she saw her friend, happily ensconced within the Greer family, happy in her own space. I hurt for her feelings of desolation, but also wanted to smack her because she was blind to the love of the people around her. She was such a good person, and she deserved everything.
Truly a masterpiece of the heart, Devney Perry!
I received an Advance Reader Copy of this from the author and I volunteered to leave an unbiased review.
I was introduced to this author late last year and I’m addicted to every word I can get my hands on from her.
In saying that, I haven’t yet read book 1 in this series, but this can be read as a standalone. This is such a fantastic second chance romance and just..the emotion. It’s everything,
The writing in this is so darn good and the characters, both main and side, are incredible. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. Ms. Perry is fast becoming a favourite of mine.
“This journey was about searching for a real life. The life money couldn’t buy. I wanted the things I’d never had. Family. Love. Peace.”
Buckle up and get ready to be swept away in this romance of second chances and finding that forever feeling. With the unique story of five friends who grew up in a junkyard, this series will hit you in the feels yet have you laughing and swooning over the sexiness of the romance. After years apart, one classic Cadillac still connects all five of them, and several wild road trip adventures bring them together again.
The beautiful setting of the Greer Ranch and Resort in Montana in this book is like a character itself, I could easily imagine the picturesque setting of the mountains and sprawling hills like I was there myself. The setting plus the enemies to lovers romance of Gemma and Easton, full of delicious sexual tension and hard truths, had me rooting for their happiness and for them to finally realize they had found that forever kind of love.
“I’d stopped pretending that my feelings for her weren’t as real as the breath in my lungs or the pulse in my veins.”
I loved the fact that Gemma had no regrets about selling her whole life and redefining her happiness, setting out for an adventure with the open road stretched before her. While she was strong and powerful in the life she had created for herself in Boston, her heart and soul were still lost and wandering, desperately seeking the love of a family. So when her road trip to Montana brings Easton Greer back into her life, a man she shared one passionate night with over 11 years ago, she is not prepared for the emotions and love that comes back to her. Easton, a sexy cowboy, is struggling after taking over the reins of his family’s ranch, wanting to pave his own way and bring even more success to the business. He doesn’t need the additional distraction Gemma brings to his life but damn did these two have undeniable chemistry. I loved the push and pull between them, both sensitive to the others guarded hearts, seeing the struggles and hopes no one else seemed to get. I absolutely loved everything about this book and their love story, another fantastic romance and I’m excited to see where the rest of the series goes!
“This time in Montana had woken me up. I was feeling again. I was living. I’d fallen in love.”
I am absolutely loving this series! The idea of driving a car across country to deliver it to an old friend already had me intrigued, but the fact that each of the characters take over the journey when the friend before them has changed direction in their own personal journey, I just knew I’d love these books!
Gemma committed herself to her business, hell bent on being successful in every aspect of her life, especially after her heartbreaking childhood. But her drive and passion for leading the corporate world, left her feeling completely lost in her personal life. Needing something more meaningful, something more purposeful in her personal life, she sells her business and plans to pick up the journey where Londyn left off, promising to deliver the vintage car to their old friend.
After reading Londyn’s story in book one, I was excited to find out what Gemma was going to do. I knew her pit-stop in Montana to repair the damage she caused when she upped and left over 10 years ago would be emotional, but I wasn’t ready for the angst and major chemical reaction that fizzed between her and Easton!
These two are literally fire! There is a very thin line between love and hate, and both of them had teetered on the edge of it all these years, but the feelings that stirred in them after seeing each other again were not something either of them were ready for. What happens next is an intense struggle of letting go of the past to be able to see to the future.
I cannot rave about this book enough. Although they are each slightly shorter than your average novel, they don’t feel it at all. They’re absolutely amazing and I cannot wait to see what happens next!

The Caddie is back in book 2 of the Runaway series, Wild Highway. Gemma is now driving the restored Cadillac across the Unites States to California but first makes a pit stop in Montana to try and make amends with her friend Katherine. Apparently, Londyn (from Runaway Road, book 1 of the Runaway series), Gemma, and Katherine moved from California to Montana to work at a resort/ranch where they were “adopted’ into the owners family. Gemma left Katherine hanging without so much as a good-bye and followed Londyn to Boston. Gemma also left someone else behind: Easton, grandson of the resort owners. As Gemma begins to repair her relationship with Katherine, there is one person on at the resort that is not happy to see her….Easton. As Gemma and Easton try to move past their love/hate relationship, each soon finds themselves more drawn to each other than not and when Gemme begins to feel the pressure of not fitting-in, she is soon packed and ready to head-out once again leaving the ranch and possibly the best thing she ever had in Easton. Wild Highway is a “classic” Devney Perry book with all the feels, the hot relationships, over-the-top alpha-males and a a little (or sometimes a lot) of drama thrown-in the mix all coming together to once again create a magical story that left me wanting for me.Devney Perry
Gemma was a child runaway and she’s worked really hard to get where she is today. Rich and successful, she seems to have it all but in reality she’s still searching for that missing something. When her childhood friend and fellow runaway suggests she drive her Cadillac across the country, Gemma finds herself making a detour in Montana to meet up with another old friend. She’s not really expecting Easton or the feelings he evokes whenever he’s near. With his snide comments and judgemental remarks, he makes it obvious he’s not forgiven her. Honestly, Gemma took me by surprise. She’s built an empire, she’s loaded, successful and is a little intimidating when you think how far she’s come and just how determined she must have been to get so far. If I’m honest she wasn’t what I was expecting knowing all of this. I was expecting a cold, hard faced, bull headed, forceful woman. The kind of woman who doesn’t think about anyone else’s feeling as long as she gets what she wants. Gemma really isn’t like that though. I liked her straight away and the more she opened up, the more I liked her. She seems so confident but she’s dealing with her own baggage which make her scared to let others close to her. It’s easier to leave than be left. She’s desperate to find where she belongs and I couldn’t help but feel for her. There’s so much depth to Gemmas character that I felt everything she was feeling.
It would seem like I’m a bit of a sucker for a cowboy. Who would’ve thought? Not me that’s for sure but then I met Easton and he won me over with the first meeting. Jeez this guy. He’s hot, hard working, reliable and holding a serious grudge. He’s broody, grumpy, stubborn and a bit of a jerk (especially when it comes to Gemma). He’s not ready to forgive and forget, he’s too busy trying to remind himself Gemmas presence is only temporary. Gemma will do what she always does and will leave soon so he has to guard his heart. Sometimes though there’s no ignoring the connection and chemistry between two people and it’s not long before Gemma and Easton are heading into dangerous territory where one, or both of them, could end up with a broken heart.
This is by far my favourite so far out of the Runaway series. I found it a little slow to start but it didn’t take me long to get sucked into the story. Gemma and Easton are fantastic characters and the story is addictive. I couldn’t put it down. Now I’m even more desperate than before for book three and another runaways story.
5 Sometimes Spontaneous Decisions Have the Best Results Stars!!
AHHHHH another phenomenal book from Ms. Perry!! I absolutely loved the first book in this series, but this second book is one that I couldn’t put down… I literally read through the night because I was so in love with Easton and Gemma and their second chance!
Gemma is a woman that’s taken up the mission of returning the Cadillac to California but decides to get a detour on her trip to seek out her friend Katherine to mend some old wounds, the only problem with this plan is there’s no way she’ll be able to avoid Easton the man that has the means to break her completely.
This book has everything I love about a book written by Ms. Perry. Characters that are strong in more ways than one, intelligent, filled with grit and determination to keep their hearts safe. But sometimes as much as we try, the heart wants what it wants, add in people that think they know better than you and there’s no way Easton and Gemma will be able to ignore the chemistry that still simmers between them. Unfortunately, while their bodies desire each other, their minds may put a stop to them finding their HEA.
Seeing Gemma transform from a driven and business focused woman to someone that can see there’s more to life than what she’s had for the last several years was truly fabulous. She thinks that she’ll be able to spend some time in Montana and move on, but Easton’s pull, as much as he doesn’t want it to be there, is more than either of them can handle and they may have to give in to their desires…
“We were at each other’s throats, and it was because if we didn’t fight this attraction, if we gave in…we’d be doomed”
I respected Easton so much for not making it easy on Gemma, but there were moments when I really didn’t like him because he just wouldn’t listen sometimes…his body was reacting to Gemma’s presence but he wouldn’t let his mind hear what she was trying to say. And my heart hurt for her so much. She’s trying so hard to make a new life for herself and it’s not going to be easy. But Gemma has come from so much worse and she’s not going to give up even if her heart gets broken along the way.
And let’s talk about their chemistry. As hot as it was that one night all those years ago, this time is so much better and sexier and connecting them in ways neither was expecting. But it’s not an easy road for them because love never is!
This book is captivating in the way the story moves along. Not only are Gemma and Easton fabulous, but the secondary characters add a layer to the story that allows Gemma to see that what she’s looking for may be right in front of her even if Easton isn’t willing to admit what he wants until it might be too late.
I’m certainly not going to tell you how this book ends because it’s a journey you need to take for yourself because as I’ve come to love about Ms. Perry’s she takes my heart on the journey of a lifetime giving me men and women that embed themselves into me heart, body and soul!
Book 2 in this incredible series by Devney Perry about six teenage runaways all grown up and still looking for their HEA. Work a Holic Gemma ha spent 11 years building and empire but nothing feels right any more. So when Londyn asks her to continue her original trip to California in the Cadillac she says yes. Although along the way she feels the need to make amends with yet another member of the junkyard kids. Doing so takes her to Montana where she also runs into Easton. Easton the guy she had a thing with right before she ran away to Boston. Now she’s back and her attraction to the gorgeous, alpha rancher is still there burning hot.
I am loving this series. It is so original and meeting all the characters is so much fun. Next up is Kathryn. I really hope Cash gets his head out of his you know what. Can’t wait to meet Aria.
**I was generously provided with an advanced readers copy of this book in exchange for my fair and honest review.**
Oh my! What an absolutely beautiful, moving story of finding where you belong and second chance romance!
My heart ached for Gemma. She has had one tough life but she has not only persevered, she has excelled. I’m all about family and watching Gemma struggle with the lack of family cut me to the quick. I wanted to grab her into my arms and make all the pain go away. She was wounded, knew it, but unable to find the answer of how to heal herself.
’”What do you want, Gem?”
A place
A safe place. A forever place.
Maybe that place didn’t exist for women like me, so I stood on my toes, threw my free arm around his shoulders and brushed my lips against his before I gave him my second choice. “You.”
I had a few reservations about Easton in the beginning. He had some issues to deal with and I realized pretty quickly that they were justified. It also didn’t take me long to fall in love with him. Once he opened himself up, he was all in and that included being sure that Gemma had what she needed to find happiness. I love a protective, unselfish hero. Especially one that responded in the way Easton did. And fyi: he’s a “darlin’” lovin’ cowboy! Swoon!
This is a fast read but it is packed with so much emotion that I found myself sobbing at a couple of points, and cursing this author for her ability to make me do so. The chemistry between Easton and Gemma absolutely sizzles, especially once they get past the enemies stage. Of course, there is no denying the attraction while they’re still engaged in their arguments and stand-off.
This is a complete stand alone with no cliffhanger, but it does set us up for the next book in the series and I’m chomping at the bit to get my hands on it!
Gemma and Easton’s chemistry is off the charts. Devney Perry once again pulled me into the story with ease. I was enamored by Easton and proud of Gemma. Beautifully written, it is everything I expect from a Devney Perry book.
I hearted this story so hard! There’s just something about needing a place or person to call “home” that hits me deep down in my soul. Gemma is a hardworking, self made woman who started out as a runaway and ended up a successful entrepreneur. On a cross country trip, she decides to visit a friend from her past who she left behind. Easton liked this girl who left him behind as she ran to make her own future. Now Gemma is back and I loved how these two were fighting the pull towards one another…both afraid of getting hurt. This story is full of angst, attraction and some steamy scenes. Loved the heartwarming Greer family and their open arms. Such a sweet story and I can’t wait for more runaway adventures!
Wow! I have to say this is one of my top five for this year! This book was the same as Runaway Road in the fact that it gave me everything I didn’t know I needed in a book. This book had the angst of a second chance romance with the hurt of those who felt they were done wrong by, along with a heroine who has the strength to withstand anything (and makes me want to be as strong as she is). This book started to take me on a journey that made my heart hurt and just made me want to hug our leading lady. Too see their love play out, the enduring strength that they both possess, along with a family that I would love to claim as my own, this book made me smile and take a deep breath and enjoy how Devney Perry broke me yet put me back together even stronger than before.
I wish I had the words to better describe this book but I don’t so I’ll just say I LOVED it! Runaway Road was fantastic but Wild Highway was that and more. I loved Gemma and Easton. Gemma is so lost in life and *swoon* here enters a cowboy/rancher to be there while she finds her way! This second chance romance let’s us learn a bit more about the 6 kids from the Temecula junkyard and I couldn’t read it fast enough. So looking forward to more from this series!
Wild Highway ~ Devney Perry
“I f**king love you, woman. I am going to marry you. I’m going to have babies with you. I’m going to kiss you every morning. And show you every day that this is exactly where you belong.” …. SWOONS!!!
OMG guys! Another FANTIATIC story from Ms. Perry. Wild Highway is the second book of the Runaway series. I like the Runaway Road but I FREAKING LOVE Wild Highway. Gemma and Easton take the cake … for now This is a standalone but I highly recommend Runaway Road first just to get the back-ground story.
In the first book Londyn was taking a road trip to bring a fully restored Cadillac across the country from Boston to California but it broke down in West Virginia. That was where she met her future husband and trip was postponed. Gemma is a friend of Londyn who was at a cross road in her life. She went to visit Londyn and decided to take the Cadillac the rest of the way to California. Gemma’s trip took an unexpected derail to Montana where she visits an old friend Katherine. Gemma owes Katherine an overdue apology for an old mistake … but turns out this is more than one person she needs forgiven, namely the man in charge Easton Greer. What supposed to be a short stop turned into months at the Greer’s family resort.
My heart was breaking for Gemma and what she went through in her youth. Gemma is beautiful, strong minded who built a business empire, but despite her success she feels lost. Easton is a gorgeous, broody cowboy who lives and work at his family farm. He plants roots with no intention of leaving Montana. Easton was heartbroken and angry when Gemma left 11 years ago without so much as a note goodbye. There is no denying that his feelings for Gemma has not changed much despite the time apart. But Easton is reluctant to let his guard down considering Gemma was only plan to stay a short time. Wow! The chemistry between Gemma and Easton was palpable. So much angst, tension, emotion and feels and I love every minute of it. In fact, I love everything about this book – the scenery, the dialogues, the plot, the entire Greer family dynamics, the unconditional love they have for each other and the people they held close to their hearts.
Wild Highway is a sweet, emotional, and beautiful love story. It’s also about a young woman’s journey to find herself. It’s about redemption, forgiveness and second chance. I can’t say enough this author writing – absolutely FLAWLESS! Devoured this in one sitting! LOVE IT!
PS: I cannot wait for Katherine and a certain knucklehead Cash and his big secret. They are next on a road trip to the Oregon Coast. OMG! The waiting game is killing me … Quarter Miles can’t come fast enough!!!
