He was my salvation…Addalyn “Addie” BlackfootI was somewhere I shouldn’t have been, doing something I shouldn’t have been doing. As Tyler Blackfoot’s daughter, I know better. There are expectations to being who I am, but I’ve never fully lived up to them.Adoption.It’s supposed to be the answer to prayers – both for the parents and the child. Me? I’ve always felt a little out of place, like I … child. Me? I’ve always felt a little out of place, like I couldn’t settle down, a flower blowing in the breeze, waiting to be uprooted.
Until the moment he stepped in front of me, taking the blade of the knife meant for me. I didn’t know his name, but the way he looked at me, it was like he knew all my secrets, but didn’t care. It was reckless and passionate, and I never thought of the consequences.
I figured after I got what I wanted from him, I could break it off and never see him again.
I was wrong.
Wilder “Wild” Evans
She came into my life when I least expected it. Strong, fearless, and ready to take whatever the asshole holding the knife was going to dish out.
For months after, I couldn’t get enough of her. Her joy in life, the way her eyes lit up when she saw me, and the smile that popped dimples in her cheeks when she wasn’t paying attention. She calmed every part of a man who’d never had steady and I craved it.
Then it was gone. She became a different person, left without a trace, and ignored my texts.
Fate intervened, and I found her again.
I’m her calm…
She’s my wild…

Wild was a great 5 star read and book 2 in the Heaven Hill Generations series.
Laramie has once again pulled me right in with her writing. I love how this series is the children of the original MC members.
Addie was adopted by Tyler and Mer, she is struggling with fitting in. Wild didn’t have an easy life, when fate brings him to the club things take a big turn for him and Addie. Wild and Addie connect on so many levels and were perfect for each other.
Can these two have a HEA?
I went through several emotions while reading, I really felt for Addie and all the struggles she was having around adoption. The secondary characters were great. This book is definitely going on my top 2018 reads. I can’t wait to get to the next book in the series. I highly suggest you 1-click and get started today.
This book is a spin off of sorts of the Heaven Hill series – which I admit I have not read. But that fact didn’t detract me from really enjoying this story. Sure there were gaps for me with the backstory, but Laramie shares just enough info to make sure you’re not lost.
This story revolves around Wild and Addie – two outsiders looking to fit into and find their place in the world. Fate brings them together and a shared feeling of abandonment keeps them together. Wild is a sweet love story about the angst of growing up, figuring out who you are and letting yourself be vulnerable. I really enjoyed it. If you’re looking for an easy to read, sweet story with some steamy scenes, you will enjoy Wild.
Laramie takes us on an emotional journey as we travel along with Wild and Addie. Wild is lost without any family while Addie feels lost with while surrounded by family. Together they find what they both were searching for. A very heartfelt book with lots of emotions and love. I highly recommend this as well as the other books in this series!
Defintely one of my top favorite couples in Heaven Hills but unfortunately that bumps Tate & Remy down.
Addie had realistic issues of someone who was adopted. Her scenes with her Dad were especially emotional at times but so well written.
Wild and Addie just fit together—they became each other’s family.
He understood her and noticed things others didn’t and she took care of him in a way that only his grandfather had done for him.
Tate was a pain in the ass—and that kinda killed my view of her and Remy as a couple— but I get that adult relationships are hard to transition to from being childhood best friends.
In summary, another great read from Laramie!
Wild by Laramie Briscoe is another amazing book in this series. Addy and Wild story is great. Addy is having feelings that are not true and Wild makes her see she is wanted by him. But will him beeing a prospect in the club tear them apart? Or will some stuff with the club get them hurt? Make sure you one click if you love the Heaven Hill series because this is a great book in the series. Laramie does amazing job with the characters and the story line.
I guess I never really thought about how it would be to follow in Tyler Blackfoot’s shoes. Addie being the oldest child, she comes with a lot of emotional baggage.
“This dark cloud hanging over me, I’m not sure it’ll ever let up.” She opens up so much but her emotional walls are so high.
Enter the new guy in town, Wilder aka Wild. He is alpha enough to push beyond her boundaries.
This starts as a simple fling but slowly grows the more time they spend together.
It’s raw emotional material that dives deep into feeling lost.
Another great read from this talented author…
This is what happens when two lost souls find each other. You get a gritty, gripping emotional drama that left me fighting my tears at the same time as I was sighing for the sweetness. On the surface, Addie looks like she has everything she could possibly want. After all, she’s a Heaven Hill Princess. But what if that one thing she needs is the one thing no one around her has been able to give? Until a stranger rolls in to town. One who’s just as scarred and broken as Addie is. And in many of the same ways, too. Wilder has no one left on Earth he can call his own, but the pain he sees in Addie is familiar to him. It calls to him. These two battered hearts just might be the salvation of one another. Grab the box of tissues and settle in for the long haul. Once you get started reading this book, you’re not going to want to stop. Not for food, work, sleep, nothing. Now that I’ve finished it, I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book.
This is the second book in the Heaven Hill Generations series and can be read as a standalone. It follows Addie and Wild’s journey of finding both themselves and love.
Wild isn’t the typical MC book, but if you’re looking for well-written characters inside an emotional read, then this one is for you.
This is the second book in the Heaven Hill Generations series and this can be read as a stand alone.
Addie is the daughter of long time MC member Tyler (who I’ve always loved) and even though she comes from a loving, supportive family she’s struggling with her feelings. Feeling lost, alone and confused Addie starts acting a little more reckless than usual. Going out to a club one night leads her to meeting Wilder and when he steps in to help her, she can’t help but want to spend more time with him.
Wilder ended up involved with the MC by accident but it turns out to be exactly what he needs. Meeting Addie adds complications to his situation but he can’t resist the pull between them. I loved Wilder. He sees something in Addie and he shows her that not only does he understand but that he’ll always be her shoulder to cry on.
I really enjoyed Addies story. Her confusion and emotional turmoil are easy to understand and her friendship with Tate made me like her even more (although I can’t say I feel the same about Tate). Overall another enjoyable story from this series that’s left me eager for more from the Heaven Hills men and women.
“None of us ever know how life is going to change”
When I started this story I had no idea what I was going to experience. I don’t think I have ever been so inside the heads of main characters. I wanted to grab both of these characters and hug them. This was a story I felt and I absolutely love it.
Wild is the Second book in the Heaven Hill Generations series. It can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend reading book one. This is Eddie and Wilder’s book and the journey that shaped their lives forever. I loved reading this book so much and I absolutely love this author. I recommend this book to everyone.
I Voluntarily Reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book!!!
Laramie Briscoe shines in the second book of the Haven Hill series. This book was a beautiful collection that included veteran and new charachters. It was a fabulous story about second chances at life and the meaning of unconstitutional love. Even though this story has a love story, the true love was between parents and child and it was so profound and heartwarming.
Wilder “Wild” Evans takes off on his Harley and leaves the only home he knows for a place yet to be determined. Showing up in Bowling Green was not his plan originally. But sometimes in life plans change, destinations change and a sense of peace you never known start to surface. Aside Blackfoot is also not a part of those plans. However, one look and its all Wild knows in order to become intrigued. She might be one of the princesses of Bowling Green, but he never said he was a prince. This one girl just might be the death of him.
Aside Backfloot is tempting fate and causing trouble. She stated she wants to find herself but the measures she takes could hurt everyone around her. One bartender becomes the thorn in her side and then he becomes something she never would have imagined. Is she really going to be lonely? Or is she going to have a little fun being bad. If only that was her notice. Her pain of abandonment issues takes form and it could hurt all the close relationships she has. Including one with a man that lights her fire and makes her question everything.
5 STARS
This book was titled appropriately for the second installment of this series because it was such a wild ride of emotions from the start. Both Wild and Addie have a ton of emotional baggage to sift through and at times their issues were tear jerking as they worked through them. The entire read was an emotional roller coaster ride that had me hooked from the start. Their story moved along well and it was nice to see how the two generations have come together. I also liked how Addie and Tate’s stories were taking place at the same time so some of the events made more sense. I enjoyed their story from the start and I felt that the manner in which the deep issues were addressed was done well. I would recommend this book to others.
I can never resist anything written by Laramie Briscoe. Wild is yet another in a long list of books by her that stole my heart. There’s romance that blends together serious heat and serious swoon, tight knit family that fills your heart, and the ups and downs of life that we all relate to pulling you in even closer to these characters. From start to finish I couldn’t put this one down! Addie and Wild had me hooked to every page.
I love how these two manage to have such a feeling of sweetness about them even when going through seriously emotional things. It was like you could just feel the love they had even before they admitted it to themselves. Wild and Addie’s story is just as much about the love between them as it is the hurdles of growing up and feeling alone. Both of them working through and overcoming the things life has hit them with on a level I feel like so many people can relate to.
Just as things come together with their relationship there’s a twist with the MC I did not see coming that amped things up to a whole new level. I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book in this series!
Addalynn “Addie” Blackfoot doesn’t feel as if she fits in. She has a friend named Tate. If you want to know more about her, check out the book that started this series. Wilder “Wild” Evans is eye candy when it comes to the ladies. He seems to be a man who is trying to find a purpose as well as where he fits in.
I liked the family unit that can be found here. It’s a little quirky but you can tell how much they all care about each other. It was interesting to see how an inanimate object could play such a roll in some of the scenes. This story shows a much different side to an MC. Part of that is seen in the pet project that Addie’s mother started. And for those that want to know what her parent’s story is, you can find it in the book titled Out Of Darkness. It’s something worth thinking about because it’s a way of getting a little history of the Blackfoot family.
I’m a fan of this author and I enjoyed how she quietly takes characters from another series and integrates their story here. It’s like the to be continued part of a previous book. You won’t need to read it first in order to enjoy Addie and Wild’s story. But it does become hard not to want to know more about the secondary characters that are so important to Addie. It also fits my need to know more about the characters our author has created.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
In Wild, the second installment to Laramie Briscoe’s next generation Heaven Hill Series, we meet the daughter of VP Tyler Blackfoot, Addie. The longtime readers of this series know Addie’s background and where she comes from. Due to that background she is searching for something, but she doesn’t really know what that it.
What she finds is Wilder Evans – a guy who has lost everything and more importantly, someone who has lost himself along the way. He too is searching for something that will give him a sense of purpose and belonging.
As someone who is currently searching for that unknown something in life, this book spoke to me in several ways. It made me cry, think things over, and appreciate the family and friends I’m surrounded by.
Seeing Addie and Wild get together, and help each other come into their own was a joy and and sometimes very painful. All in all Wild was a great reading experience and deserve 4 stars.
This is the second book in the Heaven Hill Generations series but can be read as a standalone. Two souls who feel alone and abandoned until they find each other. Addie and Wild have issues they need to overcome but together they deal with them and become stronger together. Laramie Briscoe has a unique way of drawing her readers into every story and keeping us captivated until the very end. I definitely recommend reading this book along with the other books in the Heaven Hill series. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
First off, this is part of a series, book two to be exact, and this series is a spin off: my point being, you should really read the original series and then book one before even thinking of diving into this. This is one of those books that you will be very lost and confused as to how many characters are mentioned and things are mentioned from previous books and what not… I have read them all, and I was a bit confused since it has been awhile.
Addie feels a bit left out, Tatum is now doing her own thing, and Addie feels like she is being left behind and lonely, which at this young age is natural. So she makes a not so wise choice and goes to a bar (still unsure how she got in, or even was able to order a drink). Wild is down on his luck, having just up and left Mississippi since there was nothing left for him, his only destination is north. When his bike breaks down, he gets a bit of luck, as two guys stop and help, and not only do they help with his bike, but they end up helping him with a room for a bit, and a job working at the bar. When Addie strolls into the bar, everything in Wild takes notice. After flirting for a bit, Addie takes her leave and Wild is hopeful he will see her again, he never thought it would be first thing in the morning coming to get rent from the guy Wild is staying with. From that point on their paths keep crossing, but will Addie open up enough to let Wild in, or does she see him as just a fun time? How will the MC deal with someone taking up with a Princess when they are not part of the MC?
Every series has books that knock it out the park or the ones that are a bit of a miss, and for me this was a bit of a miss. Not saying this wasn’t a good story, just that I know the author has done better and this was not IMO one of those better efforts. I felt that Addie was way to young to be in this type of relationship, proof was how she was acting over the Tatum/Remy thing. This was more a of build up for the next book than it was about Addie and Wild. There was drama, a few naughty bits, and the promise that the next book will be action packed. I give this 3.75 stars.
Loving when a author can transport me into their worlds with characters that have the strength to carry me with them as this author does. She uses the daughter with one that is brought into the fold so to speak with them each seeing through to the soul. Addie and Wild were strong enough to take us on their ride with their story forgetting what is happening around us. Sometimes it is good to just disappear in someone else’s world watching and feeling their lives as this author can do to us. The heat that comes forth also warms the soul with all you wanting is to see it to the end but not wanting it to end.
Addie and Wild are just trying to find a place where they “fit” in life. Addie was adopted and Wild was just kind of drifting, not feeling like he had a place where he fit in. They met when Wild shows up in Addie’s little town and they meet, finding the missing piece to their puzzle and finally feeling like they fit somewhere in the world, with someone. There was a lot of drama between Addie and her BFF Tate and that was a little distracting, almost like high school drama, but hey, the girls are still relatively young and not sure how to handle being in relationships and having a strong friendship too. I have had the HH books on my “to read” list for ages and now I will make sure to go back and read them all. I have a huge fan of Laramie’s and look forward to her future books!
