He was my salvation…Addalyn “Addie” BlackfootI was somewhere I shouldn’t have been, doing something I shouldn’t have been doing. As Tyler Blackfoot’s daughter, I know better. There are expectations to being who I am, but I’ve never fully lived up to them.Adoption.It’s supposed to be the answer to prayers – both for the parents and the child. Me? I’ve always felt a little out of place, like I … child. Me? I’ve always felt a little out of place, like I couldn’t settle down, a flower blowing in the breeze, waiting to be uprooted.
Until the moment he stepped in front of me, taking the blade of the knife meant for me. I didn’t know his name, but the way he looked at me, it was like he knew all my secrets, but didn’t care. It was reckless and passionate, and I never thought of the consequences.
I figured after I got what I wanted from him, I could break it off and never see him again.
I was wrong.
Wilder “Wild” Evans
She came into my life when I least expected it. Strong, fearless, and ready to take whatever the asshole holding the knife was going to dish out.
For months after, I couldn’t get enough of her. Her joy in life, the way her eyes lit up when she saw me, and the smile that popped dimples in her cheeks when she wasn’t paying attention. She calmed every part of a man who’d never had steady and I craved it.
Then it was gone. She became a different person, left without a trace, and ignored my texts.
Fate intervened, and I found her again.
I’m her calm…
She’s my wild…

Love this 2nd generation MC story. The author has a magic touch when it comes to writing alpha male stories and getting down to the nitty gritty, especially when she lets the reader see their softer or more vulnerable side. This is just the case with “Wild”.
This is Addie and Wilder’s story. They are two young adults that are feeling lost and alone, even in a crowd or around family. Wilder’s grandfather has died and left him alone and broke. Feeling lost, he packs his saddlebags, hops on his bikes and heads out looking for a fresh start. Fate lends a hand when his bike breaks down just outside of Bowling Green and two of the Heaven Hill MC members show up to help him. He gets a job as a bartender at one of the local bars to earn enough to pay off the repairs to his bike before hitting the road again. It’s at the bar he meets Addie and she literally takes his breath away. She is the MC VP’s daughter and supposedly “trouble”, but Wilder can’t stay away from her. Especially when he sees a kindred spirit of loneliness in her eyes.
Since finding out she was adopted, Addie feels like she isn’t worthy and has no clue where she fits in the world. She is attracted to Wild but pushed him away out of fear of not being enough or rejected. Little does she know he needs her as bad as she needs to feel like she belongs.
When lives are on the line, can these two learn to trust and rely on those around them as well as each other? Is Addie enough to keep Wilder in Bowling Green? Is Wilder enough for Addie to let her guard down and confide her fears? This is a wonderful love story as well as an exciting action packed MC story. I highly recommend grabbing this one up ASAP and this reader is anxiously awaiting the next book in Heaven Hills MC, the 2nd Generation.
this has to be one of the best books to date.. Addie has now become my favorite Heaven Hill person.. I laughed, cried and wanted slap both Addie and Wild…… loved getting to.see Tyler again.
I had mixed feelings going into this book. I love Laramie Briscoe as an author, but her Heaven Hill Series isn’t my favorite. I’m more a Rockin’ Country or MTF girl. But I’d heard great things about the topics discussed and I know she does a great job with her characters so despite a bit of trepidation, I thoroughly enjoyed Wild.
This was a fascinating tale of two young adults coming into themselves. Finding their way in life. Dealing with their pasts to make good choices for their futures. All with the creative backstory provided by the previous books in the Heaven Hill series. I enjoyed how Addie and Wild’s story played out; just when you thought you might have their story figured out, a well written twist plays out and your emotions are all wrung out again.
Addie is the daughter of Tyler and Meredith Blackfoot and at first you get the impression she’s going to be a Motorcycle Club spoiled princess. But she has an emotional past she needs to deal with along with some normal struggles of being a young adult. She’s a good person, but had to make some mistakes to get it right in the end. Wild is the bad boy who breezes into town…a drifter who Addie thinks she can manipulate… But his actions show his true colors and when fate pushes them together, they fit in ways I couldn’t have imagined.
Heat – Was the heat in the book good? Did it seem organic or forced? Did the characters have chemistry? (If the book is not supposed to have heat, skip this paragraph.)
As always, Laramie Briscoe writes a great relationship. These two young adults start off a bit rocky and cocky, but they share some great emotion before sharing bodily fluids. I love how they make such a huge impact on each other and then some space. When they come back together, despite the circumstances, they hit it off as friends and lovers. They both needed each other, but were afraid to hope for so much in a partner. Also, Wilder is one hot motorcycle man!
I loved the way this book was written. It was so much more than a MC love story. It’s a inspiring adventure of these characters and how we all need to be honest and truthful and communicate. Laramie Briscoe was able to write about some very sensitive subjects with the utmost respect and honor, covered in a a healthy dose of sexy motorcycle men and one skull mug. At different points in this book I was so mad at different characters, then going “aww” or even crying my eyes out due to all the emotions.
I was pleasantly surprised at how much I loved this book. The first few Heaven Hill books weren’t my favorite (but later ones were my jam-Layne and Jagger…hello hotties!). Wild is a lovely addition the Heaven Hill club. Addie and he work well and I’m looking forward to seeing them in further books, which I now need to read due to how this book ended!

What a truly amazing story between two broken souls. Addie and Wild are both feeling lost and lonely in their life. That is until they meet each other. Together they feel a little less lonely, and a little more like they belong. This story pulled all my emotions out, I cried and I laughed. I can’t wait for more next gen heaven hill.
Wow, what an emotional journey this story take you on. Wilder and Addie’s paths cross because of fate and a kindred felling. As Wild integrates himself into the HH family, Addie sees him as her future and she must face up to some real truths about her life. Wild is badass and a gentleman at the same time. Addie is just trying to find her pace in the world. Together they will forge a life built on their love.
“if there’s something worth fighting for, I’m going to fight for it. She’s worth fighting for, and I’ll be damned if I let her think she’s not.” Wild
Omg, I have had many favorite couples in this series of books, but Addie and Wild take it hands down. Two people who need each other so much. They are soulmates that found each other in the worst of times and places in each other’s lives. A love that was almost hard to realize because of pasts. I love this couple in a special way because as a mother of an adopted child, I see Addie in her. Well done.
Omg,must read loved every minute of this story, Friendship trouble, Speaking your mind all hard to do when it comes to people you love. Finding your place in the world not settling to be second best. This story has it all. The writing was great!!
Talk about a forbidden romance here. Addie and Wild are just chemistry even if at first they are quic to deny it. The past that does not let go, but the future that seems so far out of reach. I love Laramie Briscoe books. She puts a lot of heart in her characters that you can’t help but get attached too. I have been sick at home and while I read Wild, I was so stuck in their world that I forgot how yucky I was feeling. So if you are ready to get lost in an amazing world, this book will take you there. The heat factor was yummy and has you sweating! The story line was just enough that will have you asking for so much more. I cannot wait to continue with the Heaven Hill Generations series.
Worth the buy !! A+++
I shouldn’t be surprised that I loved this new Heaven Hill generations novel. The feelings and thoughts are so real and resonate as you read them. Pack your tissues for this because it is so wonderful. I can’t wait for the next one!
Addie doesn’t know why she can’t let go of the feeling that she doesn’t belong. Being adopted has started to warp everything; how she sees herself, her family, her life. The loneliness drives her to hang out at a new nightclub that the men of Heaven Hill, including her father warned her to stay away from. Wild didn’t know what he was looking for, all he knew was that he couldn’t stay in Mississippi anymore. Fate led him to Bowling Green and Addie. Now he knows where he belongs, will Addie find the same with him?
Laramie Briscoe is an amazingly talented writer! She knows how to wrap you up in her characters and their lives until you can’t stand the thought of leaving them alone for a second. She writes the kid of stories that you read romances for, amazing men and awesome women that you want to see live happily every after. Addie is going through what a lot of adopted kids go through, wondering about their birth parents and if their adoptive parents are happy they chose them. She is isolated and adrift when she meets Wild. He has been beat down by his circumstances but it hasn’t hardened him. He wants a family and a place to belong. When he finds it in Addie and Heaven Hill, he will do whatever it takes to keep them. Ms Briscoe is one of my favorite writers and she just keeps getting better! Ten stars for Wild!
Wow! I have loved all of the Heaven Hill books but I think this may be my favorite. Wild is a guy who has no one and nothing- no family, no friends, no job and gets stuck when his bike breaks down in Kentucky. Addie we all know is the adopted daughter of Tyler and Meredith Blackfoot. But that’s the problem. She feels lost because she doesn’t have “real” family. This story has so much packed into it- romance, mystery and ALL of the FEELS! It brings out all of your emotions! Get your tissues ready!
Laramie Briscoe does it again!! I loved this book! Wild and Addie were so great together. It’s a story of two lost souls searching for something. Wilder, who has never really had a family, and Addie, who was adopted, trying to find out where she fits in the world and her adopted family. Addie is really having a hard time also with her friendship with Tatum since Remy has come into Tatum’s life. I loved how all the Heaven Hill characters took Wilder in and gave him the family and love he had always been looking for. When Addie finally talked to her adopted parents about what she was dealing with, I loved how Tyler and Meredith explained to her how they “chose” her and that she was very much part of the family and they loved her as much as their own son. I really enjoyed this book and couldn’t put it down. Now that the two generations have come together and the second generation is taking over, it will be exciting to see how the Heaven Hills MC develops. Highly recommend all of the Heaven Hills MC books!!
Wow this one is emotional and you better have your Kleenex at the read and well don’t be at work reading unless you want your co workers looking at you either funny or cuz they just want to hug you and see what made you cry.
So there’s the disclaimer of sorts *giggles* but really your going to get sucked right in to addie and wilds story. Plus reading this you get your Tyler fix and well can’t forget the scull cups very appearance 😉
There’s so much for me to say that I don’t have the words to form to tell you more, but don’t worry where I lack words Laramie has put them to paper or e form for you and your going to be jonesing for more of the heaven hills generation kids to come!
omg Laramie Gutted me with this book. I dont know why but it was so emotional for me and I cried through it.. it took me two settings to get through it. such strong emotions in this one. but I loved it! but I cant wait to see what happens next and who is out to get the club! Bring on more Heaven Hill I love this series and I recommend it to anyone who wants to read it but I recommend that you read them all in order!
I’m a difficult reader. After a while with the same characters, no matter how fabulously written, I tend to get broad. With the exception of a select few authors, Laramie being one, second generation books are usually meh for me. I don’t invest myself enough in the kids to want their stories…but something about Addie, how little we saw and knew of her made her a fantastic read. Throw in Wild her veritable Lost Boy and together you have a most beautiful story full of hurt and regret, insecurities love and danger.
Wild is definitely not a second chance love story but in a way taking a step back and getting out of her own way allows Addie a chamce to be with Wild and the club encompassing Wild, bringing him into the club, they allow for him to have a fresh start.
I really enjoyed the emotions. I’m not a particularly emotional reader so that fact that I cried a little at one point says a lot about the topics in Wild. It’s not just a sexy MC book full of bad boys and bad*ss chicks. It’s real. And heartfelt. There’s hurt and anger and confusion. Basically there’s page after page of life and I adored every minute of it.
Bravo Laramie, fanfreakingtastic as always.
