Bishop, Kace, and Misael promised to protect me.But after what they did, can I protect them?In the aftermath of a single gunshot, my life seems to be splitting apart at the seams. Nathaniel can never discover what my boys did, but keeping it hidden from him may be harder than we hope.Especially since I’m still being pulled between two loyalties, two halves of myself. Between duty and love.Between … halves of myself.
Between duty and love.
Between my old life and my new one.
My father still insists he’s innocent, and even though the Lost Boys despise him, I’m determined to prove he doesn’t belong in prison.
I want answers.
But if I start pulling at these threads, will my life unravel entirely?
This is the second book in the Slateview High series, a reverse harem bully romance. It contains mature themes and steamy scenes.

Rating:
Definitely a steamy reverse harem romance!
Despite this book being set in a high school it is definitely one of the steamier reverse harem books. I have read a few of the reverse harem books that are set in high school and they may have a girl that is in love with multiple guys and they with her but they really are just good friends, not a true harem. This one gets pretty steamy in a few scenes and it goes as far as saying the main characters all kiss each other in school and the entire school knows about it and is ok with the situation and just sees it as normal. So they are basically out as a polyamorous relationship.
The heroine Cora is no longer bullied by any of the students at the public high school where she goes to school and her three guys, “The Lost Boys” Bish, Kace, and Misael all have feelings for her and protect her against any and all threats against her. Including a new kid who works for a rival of their boss, who is a crime lord named Nathaniel.
Cora is still trying to find out who framed her father and put him in prison, if he was in fact framed, or if he actually committed the crime he was put in jail for. However it is pretty dangerous because the last time she tried to find information, she almost got herself killed.
Cora is also trying to figure out how her Mom got that new car and where she has been going all the time. She keeps telling herself that maybe her Mom got a job but it really doesn’t make sense. So she doesn’t really want to think about what her Mom might be doing. But every time she asks her Mom, she tells Cora not to worry about it and it is all taken care of.
I love all the mystery and suspense in the storylines, how you don’t know much about the boys jobs but you know what they do is illegal and that it could possibly have something to do with why Cora’s Dad is in prison, but you hope not. Then there was the huge cliffhanger at the end of the last book which was awesome and what’s even better is that it doesn’t get resolved in the first few paragraphs of this book. It actually takes ¾ of the book before it gets all the way resolved and there is another even better cliffhanger at the end of this book.
Some people really hate cliffhangers, and I do as well when the next book isn’t out yet but when the next book is already out and especially when I already have it or it is on Kindle Unlimited. I actually love a really good cliffhanger and this one is really juicy! I can’t wait to dig in to the next book. I only wish I didn’t have to sleep tonight.
Coralia wants his father to be released from prison because she believes him that he was framed as she has a hope that he’s a good man and he’ll be better with his business practices and not destroy lives of people like Bishop anymore .
Will she succeed in her mission with the lost boys knowing anything about it ???
What if the lost boys came to know about her plans for redemption of a man who doesn’t deserve it.
This book is gets ahead in making bond between cordiala and the lost boys stronger and more loving as the book move forwards .
It perfectly showcases how trust is important in any relationship combined with steamy sex scenes it’s a treat to read for every bad boy romance lover . Eva Ashwood
Well after that cliffhanger of Lost Boys. Wild Girl picks up where it left off. Coralee as her boys call her has a whole new dilemma to deal with after what her boys had to do to protect her. She realizes that she is in love with Bish, Kate and Misael and now its her turn to protect them. She is getting more mature as the story goes on and comes into her own and stands by what she believes in. She gets her self into some trouble trying to find info that proves that her father was set up. Her mother makes me mad with how she acts and what she does. Then her father is finally released and all charges dropped then they get their house and everything back that they lost. Sent back her to her old school and missing her boys her parents throw another bombshell at her. She is now engaged to Barrett King the creep she meets in the beginning of book 1. Can’t wait to read the 3rd book. This is a good series and you won’t be disappointed!
5 stars for Wild Girl by Eva Ashwood. This is book two in the Slateview High Trilogy. I am loving Cora and her Lost Boys. “I’m yours. I belong to all three of you, and I always will, and you’re mine.” This book is fast paced and filled with action. This book starts right where book one ended. The relationship has changed between Cora and her Lost Boys. They each depend on each other. More truths have been revealed. This book does keep you guessing. I am starting book three now.

Holy amazeballs, this book was so freaking good. I am still trying to get my bearings from reading this book. I was literally on an emotional rollercoaster with this book.
Cora, Bish, Miseal and Kace pick up where they left off in Lost Boys. Their relationship changed after that night. It seems that it has deepens with each of them. Their chemistry is off the charts and is freaking hot. Cora is still trying to deal with her father being in prison. She also stumbles on other information that almost destroys her. So what is she going to do with this information. Does she finally tell the guys about what she is doing about her father. Does she get help? What will happen?!?
Well if you want to know you will need to read it. It does leave in a cliffhanger so be prepared to do some yelling. This is the second book and it is awesome. You will not be disappointed with this book.
Overall I enjoyed the book.
Ava has definitely come into her own. And the guys of course protect her at all cost. I can’t believe the cliffy and I’m excited to see what comes next!
I absolutely loved this book. Eva has a way of sucking you in and not letting go until the very end! I loved how Cora and the guys got closer on a more intimate level in this book and it showed how much they do care for each other. We also find out some things that we may of had question for from the first book and also we get wondering about new things. Cora’s mother definitely acks more strange in this book and that alone leaves with some questions but those seem to get answered as we get furture in the book. Cora and the guys also finds out the consequences of their actions since the death of the bosss sidekick. In the end Cora gets the one wish she wanted most but at what cost does she receive it. You’ll have to read the rest of the book yourself to get all the details I don’t want to give away too much but this is definitely worth reading
Ending of book one shows the Lost Boys’ devotion to Cora and now all four are tied together with a potentially damning secret.
Cora is quickly finding herself. The loyalty to her boys and determination to help her father is inspiring. Of course her methods in getting answers for her father are also ill conceived and already shown to be deadly.
I love her boys and they are just a little too perfect. Hot, dangerous and protective. Yet they don’t smother her in attempts to corral her stubborn personality. They compromise! *swoon* Granted, mistakes are made but no deal breakers in sight.
That ending. I saw two different possible outcomes coming with her father and of course it went the complicated way. The last three pages left my heart stuttering. After everything, that betrayal will cut deep. A fight is most definitely coming.
Still claiming rights to Kace. No touchee.
Just when i think ive gotten this series worked out im thrown for a loop and shocked as hell! This happens at regular throughout this book (and the series in general) and its certainly keeps you on your toes. Love the relationship between all the main characters – Cora (FMC), Bishop, Kace and Misael. I also love how Cora has come more into her own in this book. It shows a different side to her. I couldnt love these books more and all the cliffhanger endings are bad for my nerves, lol. Just a fan-flaming-tastic read
A bit unexpected but good
After the shocking ending of the previous book,
now Cordelia and the lost boys have a lot of things to do,
Flint’s gone and the more they have problems
I liked Lost Boys then this book was no disappointment to me either,
although I liked Cordelia’s first book as a character more.
It was interesting exciting violent, secrets, trust,
unexpectedness and of course hot scenes and love
But unfortunately, the book ended with such a turn
Thank you!
