She’s a sexy gamer in danger. He’s a bodyguard with a secret.
Ex-Army Texas boy Owen Harding fears only one thing—his inner beast. A year in Agent Smith’s experimental cages has changed his wolf into something monstrous. But a hate group is hunting the Wilding pack, so Owen’s serving again, this time as bodyguard. If only the girl he’s protecting wasn’t so damn sexy… and completely off limits.
and completely off limits.
Nova Wilding’s father was assassinated, leaving her a gaming company to run, a new game to release, and a pack full of wolves who want her for a mate… including a beta who’s determined to have Nova and her company. When a bomb goes off in her car, Nova finds herself in her sexy bodyguard’s arms… but he’s absolutely the wrong man at the wrong time.
While Nova fights to keep her gaming company afloat, and Owen fights to keep her alive, the hate group circles closer and closer… until they both find that falling in love might be the most dangerous game of all.
WILD GAME is a complete novel with HEA, the first in the Wilding Pack Wolves series. All stories are standalone, but for maximum reader enjoyment, start with the River Pack Wolves trilogy.

What a great story. It was nice to see some of the River pack and some of the other characters make an appearance. I was so glad that Owen was able to find his mate and find his true self.
Nova is perfect for Owen. Very self reliant and will not just let any alpha male walk all over her. So smart and able to pull her pack together for herself and them.
Can’t wait for the next one. Nice twist and turns to keep you on your toes.
Nova’s father, the leader of their pack, was murdered by a group of shifter haters. An anonymous man posts videos on the web, inciting fear and hatred of all shifters. He breeds animosity and encourages people to not only hunt them down, but to kill them. He found the names and locations of members of Nova and Owen’s packs and leaked it to further his cause. Nova is in just as much danger as her father was and Owen is the man determined to protect her. Sparks fly and chemistry abounds, and while these two easily fall in love, Nova is supposed to find a mate within her own pack and Owen believes he isn’t destined to have a mate. Forced experimentation made him into an unknown entity. He doesn’t trust his animal and has no idea what he’d become if he were to shift. How can he put that on someone else? And what will he do when he’s left with no choice?
Although it was immediately obvious that many of these characters shared a history I wasn’t clued in on because I haven’t read their stories yet, I wasn’t lost when reading this. Kudos to the author for making this first book of a new series stand on its own. The undercurrent of suspenseful tension will probably run its course through the other books of the series, but at least Owen and Nova’s story felt like their own. I’ll definitely be reading on!
Part of a really good series
A MUST READ LADIES !!!
Love it
Such a great spinoff and it’s great that you feel like you’ve just continued on in this world, just with another family. Plot continues, conspirancy abounds, true mates blossom, it’s a great story. Can’t wait for book 2.
Really enjoyed this book. Pick it up, you’ll be glad you did.
Heart thumping good
Awesome book, Alisa Woods! Enjoyed this as much as I did The River Pack Wolves series also by Alisa Woods! Glad to read Owen’s story & see him get a HEA. These characters in this story are very likable & the story flows fast & smooth in typical fashion for this author. Amazing how all Alisa Woods’ wolf series inter-connect a little. The connecting world building thru all the werewolf series is outstanding. Great book!
I really enjoyed reading this book. So much so, that I read the whole series!!
I would recommend it to people who like mystery, romance and shifters.
Have fun reading…it’s kind of like potato chips…can’t have just one! Lol!
Fully enjoyed
Amazing characters and writing.
I enjoyed this book thoroughly.
Great
A page turner that you wont put down. One original story line that has great action from start to finish with great characters. A must read.
A little short, but not bad
An awesome start to a spinoff series! While I loved the River Pack series, this one goes to the next level! No matter what your pleasure, Alisa Woods rocks the PNR world.
I didn’t like Nova Wilding as a character. She needed to stand up for herself more.
I will have to say, I got mad at a character in the book. Had to stop reading for a bit. But of course, I had to see what happened.
The story flowed with good entertaining content and was engaging to see how Owen handled himself even though he felt scarred and changed and even if this group was hunting the Wilding Pack
