A hot new standalone in the series that’s been called “A total, utter must read.” – Book Fanatic
He’s growly. Grumpy. Stubborn.
And now, my new roommate.
Walking away from my disastrous last relationship was an easy decision, but moving in with a friend-of-a-friend hockey star who’s rarely home? Not quite as simple, because Grant makes me feel all kinds of things I’m not prepared for.
… not prepared for.
Protected. Desired. Unsteady.

She’s beautiful. Smart. Tempting.
And a little fragile.
I’ve never been anyone’s knight in shining armor, but when Ana needed a place to stay, it was easy to offer her a room with me.
Not so simple, though, is keeping my hands—or my mouth—to myself. And the night she crawls into my bed and shares her body with me? Heaven.
But she’s not looking for a relationship, and to my surprise, I find myself pissed off by that idea.
They say my heart is broken, that I’ll never settle down. I used to think that was true. Now, though? Hell, your guess is as good as mine.
First, she took my bed.
Then she took my heart.
Then she took my everything.

Sweet, passionate, and hopeful!
Wild for You is a steamy, heartwarming story about the troubled, hardworking Ana who needs a little tenderness, sympathy, and a safe place to stay and the broody, sexy, man of few words Grant who’s more than happy to help out someone in need.
The writing is smooth and sultry. The characters are kind, dependable, and supportive. And the plot is an engaging, slightly angsty tale filled with life, love, family, friendship, vulnerability, chemistry, tension, attraction, emotion, and romance.
Overall, Wild for You is a charming, absorbing, seductive tale by Ryan that comes complete with endearing characters, a lighthearted storyline, and a swoon-worthy, happy-ever-after ending.
This is another story in the Hot Jocks series. This is Grant’s story – the strong, grumpy, silent team captain. While this book in part of a series, it can be read as a standalone. Characters from prior books reappear and readers of other stories get a little recap of things.
As expected, the writing flowed smoothly and the dialogue was natural. But I had a tough time rating this one. The story seemed to lean more toward Ana and her discovery of self during a tough situation. I get it, but it wasn’t what I had expected going into this story.
Grant was a screaming loud and proud 5+ stars. He is the textbook strong protector who needs and wants someone to care about. I absolutely loved him. Loved. Him. The author has written a strikingly beautiful man who is strong yet vulnerable, but never weak. Ana, well, I understood the source of her trust issues. Her abusive relationship with Jason left her second-guessing her instincts and fueling her need to stand on her own two feet during a major personal milestone. But often times, I felt she took advantage of Grant’s generosity. And I struggled with that. In the end, I was happy to see they finally had their happy ending.
/I received an advanced edition of this book. This did not affect my opinion of the story or content of my review./
Ryan has a constant habit of gracing my MUST READ list. Wild For You is just the most recent reason why. Grant and Ana are a match made in chaos. She needs a shoulder to lean on. His heart needs a wake-up call. What happens when a helping hand presents a chance at forever? Ryan has the magic touch. Her expert delivery and sense of humor will have readers laughing through their tears and forever craving more. The sweetest escape is only a page turn away.
The book is a good romance read. The story has a good story line. The characters are good, and they have good chemistry. The story is an enjoyable hockey romance read.

Wild for You was an amazing read by Kendall Ryan. This was Grant and Ana’s story and Grant just makes you swoon. Could he be anymore perfect! Grant is captain of the hockey team and Ana is dating one of his teammates. When Grant learns of the abusive situation Ana is in with Jason, Grant is quick to come to the rescue. Grant goes from living alone to living with Ana and her dog Hobbes. He has always been the quiet, moody type but living with Ana he realizes he may be ready for more. Ana is not looking for a relationship and for the first time Grant is falling in love. Their story draws you in from page one and refuses to let you go.
I think this book is my new favorite in the series. You can’t help but fall in love with Grant. He’s the perfect guy; sweet, kind, thoughtful, sexy and the total opposite of Ana’s ex, Jason. Ana and Grants chemistry is off the charts. I think they are my new favorite couple. As with the other hot jock books we get glimpses into the past characters but they appear less and less in the books, maybe because Grant was always an outcast.
This book was amazing and a must read
Wild For you is book six in the Hot Jocks series and follows Grant and Ana. When Grant realizes just how bad Ana’s situation is her rides to the rescue and gives her a place to stay. But what he didn’t expect was for her to steal his heart. I love the fact that each book is part of this series, but they can be read as a standalone. I’m super excited to read more from this series.
What an amazing story. I loved Grant and Ana. Their story is heart wrenching, loving, caring and full of conflicts. Grant knows Ana as Jason’s girlfriend and has always wanted her, but no way would he ever come between a teammate and his woman, unless she’s in need of help. Ana has been living a lie, Jason is not the man everyone thinks he is, and she needs to move on. When she reaches out to Grant for help and sees the damage, his protective instinct takes over and he will do anything for this woman. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot, and they feel comfortable around each other, but Ana is conflicted about her feelings for Grant and the independence she wants so badly. Will Ana realize that Grant is what she really wants? Such a great read, I found this book on BookSprout.
I love Grant and Ana. This is a story of finding what you need when you least expect it. Neither was looking for love, for their own reasons, but the chemistry was palpable. I was on the edge of my seat just waiting for when it combusted. I couldn’t put this down.
Kendall Ryan has written a deliscious story that is both heartbreaking and sweet. Of all the stories in this series I enjoyed this one the most.

This book is fabulous, it features Ana and Grant. Ana is in an abusive relationship with her boyfriend who is a teammate of Grant, he just happens to find her bloodied and bruised on evening. The subject of domestic violence is sympathetically covered, Grant is a complete gentleman and the way the wags rallied round was handled well. An excellent book.

Book 6 in the Hot Jocks series and each book can be read as a standalone. This time, it was Grant’s turn to have his story told and let me just say that Grant and Ana’s story was amazing. Grant was there for Ana when she needed a friend after her relationship turned bad and she needed to leave. The way he stayed there for her even when she kept him at a safe distance was a little frustrating to watch because you can see the love he had for her. He wouldn’t let her push him away. Loved their whole journey from friends to lovers. Great read and I can’t wait to read what is next in the Hot Jocks series.
I read an early review copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
This story truly surprised me. Grant is the captain of the hockey team and he takes that job seriously, looking out for the other players. He truly has a heart of gold but he remains a mystery. Rescuing Ana from an intense situation with one of the other players just seems natural even if Grant is the strong silent type. Ana never expected to find herself in a volatile relationship but having Grant to lean on helps her find her strength to move forward. These two find themselves unlikely roommates which provides a fabulous foundation for the build-up to a fabulous relationship. Learning about Grant is incredible, his childhood wasn’t perfect so he doesn’t know how to be open to love but yet he wants it. Ana is a beautiful light which just might find a way through all of Grant’s walls. I love the journey that this couple took me on. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
I so excited to finally reads Grant’s book and it was my absolute favorite. Dealing with something like domestic violence is never easy if a book but it was handled well and with respect. The way Grant took are of Ana melted my heart. There was definitely a little twist in the book I was not expecting. I don’t want to give anything always so I am just going to say this was such a sweet addition to the Hot Jocks series !

This is so gorgeously romantic. My heart bloomed and squeezed in rollercoaster waves with this beautiful story. Oh, Grant, for a grumpy hockey player, you are a true hero for a damsel in distress.
I have read several books in this series about different hockey players and their women, and let me swear to you that this one is swoon-worthy.
Grant and his big physique, his reserved personality, his generous heart and chivalrous concern, and above all his protective nature. He is so lovable! My heart was at his feet in no time
I wanted to read his tale when it was hinted at in the previous book. He steps up to offer help and shelter to a woman whose boyfriend was being less than honourable. You can’t imagine the level of sweetness these two share. They are sensuously drawn to each other, yet the pull is strong in other terms.
She is welcoming and affectionate, he is a safe harbour in the middle of a storm and incredibly thoughtful and endearing. I fell in love with their interactions as he protects and cares for her, and she basks in his emotional embrace. And oh wow when they also interact in bed. It’s melting hot.
The plot takes a turn when their intimacy brings consequences. My tender heart broke a few times when her fight for independence, totally understandable and cheered for, causes this rift between them. Oh, be still, my battered romantic side. It’s painful when characters have to go through some growth before they reach their happily ever after, right?
I appreciate all the atention and detail devoted to her situation, even though there’s an issue around it which was a bit off putting, but also rendered the story more original. Anyway, it payed off in the end because it gave Grant another chance to be supportive of Ana once more.
Friendship from the other couples filled some wonderful scenes, and the closing chapters really touch the heart. I wasn’t expecting a dramatic news, but it added an extra layer to this complicated romance that starts with a dejected girlfriend and ends with a precious forever. Dare I say it’s my favourite in the series? Oh, my.
Oh how I am loving this series and I fell hard for Grant and Ana!
Grant has got to be one of the most misunderstood character in the previous books. He comes across as stoic and hard-nosed, a real rule follower and fantastic leader of the Ice Hawks. But with this story, we get to see the real man underneath the gruffness.
Ana, this gal has been put through the wringer with her ex-boyfriend. Not a good man and not a good situation. When she has no one to turn to, Grant is there to help her. And when an unexpected surprise comes into her world, Grant is there to help her.
Grant has got to be one of the swooniest heroes I have had the privilege to read. He has the heart of a protector and his love knows no bounds.
I enjoyed catching up with past characters and seeing how their lives have moved forward. I can’t wait for Jordie’s story next. It will be bittersweet as the final book in this fantastic series.
Another fabulous book in the Hot Jocks series. I seriously fall for a new book boyfriend with every book in this series. It is too hard to choose a favorite. And Grant did not disappoint. Grant was the quiet loner of the team yet he watched out for everyone. And when he saw a teammate of his treating his girlfriend poorly Grant intervened and offered Ana a ride home. Not thinking he would hear from her again Grant was surprised to get a call to help out Ana. Ana has no where to go and Grant offered up his spare room for her to stay while she figured out what to do.
Grant had found himself attracted to Ana since he first met her but kept the attraction to himself since she was in a relationship. Ana never looked twice at another guy since she was with her boyfriend but she could admit to herself that Grant was a really, really good looking guy. I really liked that Ana didn’t want to jump into a relationship with Grant right away because she wanted to prove to herself that she could be independent. She told him they could be friends because that is all she could do right now. Grant never really hid his feeling for Ana and he found it hard to realize that they may not have a future or at least the future that he wanted. Grant was a fabulous “non” boyfriend to Ana and it was exactly what she needed. She needed to realize that she could be independent and yet still also have what her heart wanted- Grant. Ana and Grant were a wonderful couple and I am so happy that the guy who was a loner got the girl that made him happy.
Of course we got to see the rest of the team- Justin, Teddy, Owen and Jordie. Plus some of the wives- Becca, Elise, Sara and Bailey. I am super excited for Jordie’s book next and can’t wait for his happy ending. This is a fabulous series and I have loved every single book, so hard to pick a favorite!
Everyone needs a Grant in their lives. He has spent most of his adult life alone and single. Now Ana is living with him because of her abusive relationship. All she is looking for is friendship and nothing more. She doesn’t want to rely on anyone. Wants to do it on her own. Living with Grant is only temporary. But the more time she spends with Grant the more he wants her to stay. He has always felt an attraction to her even when she was with Jason, but he never did anything about it. He was raised better than that. He has opened up to her more than anyone else he knows. Has told her things no one else knows. When circumstances change he realizes that he wants her forever. But she is still adamant about wanting to be on her own. He doesn’t push her hoping she will decide that she wants to be with him also. He can only give her time.
Kendall Ryan has a way of writing that makes her characters so real. You feel what they feel, you cry for them, you laugh with them, and you feel a part of their lives. You fall in love with every guy in this series. Each has their own story but I have to say Grant is my favorite. I have waited for his the most. How could a grumpy, stubborn, single guy find his forever? Who will break through his walls? Who will understand him? Ana was his answer. She too realized that you don’t have to do everything by yourself. You can rely on someone if they are the right one. Grant was her one.
Aah, what a lovely, light, entertaining read. Book 6 in the Hot Jocks connected stand-alone series, Wild For You follows grumpy team captain Grant who it appears may be grumpy for a reason. Maybe he’s lonely, maybe the fact that all his teammates seem to be finding their forever love is actually getting to him. One teammate definitely not with his forever love is Jason, and when disaster strikes Grant is all too happy to swoop in and become the knight in shining armour. Even though Grant may not think of himself as a savour, I sure do. He’s just such a gentleman, completely chivalrous and so so thoughtful, and maybe I’m just jealous, but I’m sure that Ana doesn’t appreciate him half the time. Wonderful writing, an addictive storyline and wonderful characters that all make up the Seattle Ice Hawks family. I received an advanced copy of this book. This is my honest review.
Oh, Grant! The big grumpy brut STOLE my heart. I LOVED how he treat Ana from the start. The way he protected and cared for her will have your heart swooning. He is truly a beautiful person inside and out. The ending made my heart so full I had to reread it instantly. I definite MUST READ!!!
