A hot new standalone in the series that’s been called “A total, utter must read.” – Book Fanatic
He’s growly. Grumpy. Stubborn.
And now, my new roommate.
Walking away from my disastrous last relationship was an easy decision, but moving in with a friend-of-a-friend hockey star who’s rarely home? Not quite as simple, because Grant makes me feel all kinds of things I’m not prepared for.
… not prepared for.
Protected. Desired. Unsteady.

She’s beautiful. Smart. Tempting.
And a little fragile.
I’ve never been anyone’s knight in shining armor, but when Ana needed a place to stay, it was easy to offer her a room with me.
Not so simple, though, is keeping my hands—or my mouth—to myself. And the night she crawls into my bed and shares her body with me? Heaven.
But she’s not looking for a relationship, and to my surprise, I find myself pissed off by that idea.
They say my heart is broken, that I’ll never settle down. I used to think that was true. Now, though? Hell, your guess is as good as mine.
First, she took my bed.
Then she took my heart.
Then she took my everything.
Your favorite hot jocks are back with an all new standalone novel. If you like sexy, confident men who know how to handle a stick (on and off the ice), and smart women who are strong enough to keep all those big egos in check, this series is for you!

Grant & Ana…these two are probably my new favorite Kendall Ryan couple! I loved how careful Grant was with Ana while she was getting over her break up, and while there were moments that she made me crazy, I loved how she when she opened herself up she was all in!
I’ve been loving this series and Wild for You was another great addition!!
Fantastic hockey romance in the Hot Jocks series-this one is about Grant, captain of his pro hockey team and Ana, a massage therapist. This story, it is intense. At the beginning of the book, Ana is the partner of Jason Kress (one of Grant’s teammates). There is no cheating-there is simply the matching of a wounded soul and a protective, decent human being. I loved watching Ana unfurl, with Grant along for the ride-until their underlying desire for each other burns too brightly for them to exist. Ana needed Grant’s patience and unconditional acceptance of her decisions, even though it was hard for him, and to me, it’s not sexy but it’s soo romantic! One of my favourite aspects about Ms Ryan’s books is the well-developed secondary characters (including Hobbes the dog). Grant & Ana’s story is my favourite of the series.
I received a copy of this book. My honest opinion is voluntarily provided.
I have to confess this is the best book in this series so far!!! It is the surprised book on Grant, the team captain. Ana is in an abusive relationship and the only person she knows she call is Grant. They set up house together until she can stand on her own two feet and fend for herself. Grant is a protector and their friendship soon turns into more, but Ana is not ready to take it further and Grant wants more from her. But with patience and tenderness they might have a forever. I loved this story and the characters are so endearing and the subject is one that very few will include in their books and Kendall did it with brio!

I love this series… *sight*
I can’t believe this book! It is so good and so well written. Grant is the ultimate hero. I feel bad because all of these hockey players in this series are the ultimate heros! I don’t know who is the best. But I will tell you what… This book, Grant and Ana, is one of the best couple ever. They are not suppose to be together, she had an abusive boyfriend and he is the surly, brooding, lonely bachelor. However, life happens and they are stick together and growing a relatioship that it is so beautiful to read.
Ana has been through a lot and compreensively has trust issues and Grant has also been hurt by the death of his biological parents.
Kendall Ryan has created wonderful, beautiful and caring characters that suppress romance, they are almost our best friends that we slowly watch to fall in love.
I loved this book!
I absolutely enjoyed this story. Of all the Hot Jocks books this is one of my top favorites. Ana and Grant are amazing. Grant may seem like a rough and tough guy on the outside and a man who keeps his distance. On the inside when it comes to Ana he is a gentle giant. Willing to stand up for her and keep her safe. Ana is a sweet and caring woman who followed her boyfriend(now ex) when he landed a spot on the hockey team. Grant has his doubts about the relationship Ana and Jason have. When Ana finally decides to leave Jason, Grant offers to let her stay at his place. Ana and Grant begin to spend time together and discover they are attracted to each other. Grant is so sweet with Ana and doesn’t pressure her. He wants to protect her. This is a wonderful story and the chemistry between these two is unmistakable. There is some drama in the form of Jason that is quickly resolved. I could not put this book down. I loved the HEA. Looking forward to the next and sadly final book in the series.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Ana needs a place to stay after leaving her ex boyfriend. Grant is friends with a hockey star that Ana knows and he offers her a place at his apartment. He figures why not? he’s never at home much. Ana finds Grant attractive but isn’t looking for a relationship after getting out of one. Grant would normally be on board with a hookup but finds himself wanting to try for more with Ana. The two are good together in bed and out as friends. I loved this steamy story.
4.5 swooning stars
I am absolutely loving this Hot Jocks series from Kendall Ryan. I have devoured each and every one in one sitting soon as I start it. Even though this is a standalone you will honestly want to read the others too.
Be still my swooning heart! Grant is everything. The hot and sexy hockey team Captain. Been waiting for his story
Wild for You is full of Kendall’s trademark humour and emotion that makes her books so appealing.
The chemistry and intense connection in this story is everything! Wild for You is Grant and Ana’s story that is full of emotion, heat and a friendship that becomes so much more. I’ve loved every single book in this series but this one just grabbed my heart and wouldn’t let go. I fell hard for swoon-worthy Grant and I loved that even though Ana pushed, Grant stood by her no matter what. This is definitely a must read book for any Kendall Ryan fan!
There’s always some kind of comfort for me in reading a book from KR. I know I’m going to get a cute couple and a sweet romance. That’s what I got with Wild for You. I enjoyed Grant and Ana’s story of romance. I did have some issues but, it was still a solid read for me.
Ana was in an abusive relationship with Grant’s teammate and he ends up helping her out and they end up as makeshift roommates. I was really loving the set up of it all. Two people who had chemistry together under one roof. I couldn’t wait for the tension to spill over. A little over 50% is when I started to find myself getting annoyed with Ana.
I get that she has just got out of a relationship but so many choices she made when it came to Grant didn’t really seem right. Especially in some moments, I felt like she took a bit too much of Grant’s kindness. She knew what he wanted and where he stood.
I did enjoy most of this book, but not all. It doesn’t mean it’s a bad book, it just wasn’t my favorite from this author.
TW: domestic violence
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy.
The sixth book in the Hot Jocks series a well written story with a very good storyline. I enjoyed seeing Grant and Ana’s story come together. I want to read the next book. This is a new Author to me. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This story shows every cloud has a silver lining. Ava is the damsell in distress and Grant the Knight in shining armour. He saves her from her abusive boyfriend and let’s her stay with him untill she gets back on her feet. But then a surprise they both didn’t expect but what a look on Grant. The soft side of the huge and bulky hockey player.
A hot and steamy but also lovely romance novell again by Kendall Ryan.
* Contains Spoilers*
Ana’s relationship with Jason implodes, which then leads her to Grant. Grant is a good guy and let’s Ana stay with him after she leaves her abusive boyfriend. The two end up sleeping together fairly quickly, which becomes an issue when Ana finds out she is pregnant. Who is the daddy? We never find that out for sure, but we do see that Grant doesn’t care either way. He is such a good guy that he will love the baby as his own no matter what.
This wasn’t my favorite book of the series, but it really is a good addition to the series.

I so enjoyed this book! This was such a sweet, swoony, feel-good read!! Grant helps Ana in a time that she most needs it. Is he attracted to her? Sure, but he doesn’t want to push anything. He just wants to be a shoulder when she most needs it. I enjoyed the friendship these two have and the budding feelings that arose. Grant is definitely a book boyfriend I enjoyed having! This guy is a keeper! And Ana is a lucky lady. And the heat between these two is combustible. It was a nice slow burn and when it exploded, WHEW! Be sure to grab this book now.
Omg this book was absolutely amazing! This set of hockey players are amazing and I have loved their books, but I was most looking forward to Grant and Ana’s book. I just wanted the insite to him because he was always quiet and stayed in the background mostly in the previous books. I will say the second half of the book shocked me, I totally didnt see that coming but it was so amazing and I loved how everything worked out towards the end. I loved the end, course I want more but I always want more, if I enjoy it I never want the book to end. I know I will get a little more story about all these amazing characters because we still have Jordie’s book next, and with that nugget at the end I absolutely need the next book asap lol. Luckily I dont have to wait too long since it comes out the beginning of June. Now go read them so you can enjoy Jordie’s book in June also, I promise you will love all of these books also.

Grant is one of the most formidable players on the hockey team, but once he opens up he is nothing but a softy for Ana. This book was wonderful in dealing with so many different characters and issues that relevant in present time. I was very pleased in the way Ms. Ryan portrayed these characters not only in their strength but also the care in continued growth throughout this series of books. I was a little shocked about Jason, but understood the reasoning the author had for this character. The epilogue was great and so looking forward to wrapping up this series and visit these characters one last time.

Good tender romance
Very tender romance, which begins with a problem of violence against women and which also raises the question of reconstruction after this violence. The story has some hot scenes, but the whole thing is very tender and gives the heroine time to make her decisions.
Grant comes to the rescue of Ana, the girlfriend of one of the players on the hockey team of which he is the captain, because her boyfriend spoke to her badly, shook her and left for the night. Grant leaves his number in case she needs help.
Very quickly, Ana needs to flee and she calls Grant, who, to protect her, welcomes her in his condo. Slowly, they are getting closer, but Ana’s life is changing and she needs to rebuild herself from what she has been through.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
Kendall said that we would fall in love with Grant, and she nailed it! I loved this book a lot, and I had a lot of feelings including love, joy and compassion. The author managed to balance heavy topics such as domestic violence and at the same moment how to move on with life after some trauma.
Don’t we just love a man that is strong, handsome, muscular, a force to be reckoned, grumpy but also caring, protector, respectful, patient and lovable? I don’t know if a real man like that exists, but Grant is all that and more! I’m in love. He was always attracted to Ana, but never acted on it because she was his teammate girlfriend. He “rescue” Ana from Jason and give her and Hobbes (her dog) a home, where fear wasn’t near, only love and protection.
Ana… this girl is strong and I was so proud of her! She went through a lot difficult times in her life, with her mom suddenly death some time ago and now the abuse and violence at the hands of Jason. After she is safely guarded by Grant, they had a passion and now she was pregnant (she actually didn’t know who the father was).
With this baby growing, she decided that she needed some space and to be able to be and raise the baby by herself and also wasn’t ready for a relationship. And seriously, I was on board with all of it. However, as the book is evolving, I was getting upset. She lived at Grant’s home for 6 to 7 months, depending on him, saving money and breaking his heart epically every single day.
He was always very focal that he wanted her, but gave her space and respect her wishes. I just wish that she would also see how much she was hurting him the one person who was always there for her. For me it felt like she was using him to get better, kind of selfish.
That being said, I loved the ending. How Ana finally came to her senses and how selfless Grant was. How he loved Ana and the baby was incredible, you can only wish that someday you will find a guy like him. Grant will be on the top chart for being one of the best of the Hot Jock Series!
I was so waiting for this book after that scene at Down and Dirty. Grant and Ana complements each other he was her strength and she was home for him. It was slow and I hated their time apart but you can’t fault her for wanting to stand on her own to feet.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I loved Grant’s book. He was a character that I wanted to know everything about. I think the thing that stood out for me was he loved to take care of people. Once you have secured a spot in his life, he will always be there for you. I hated that Ana was putting up with Jason’s behavior. I hated what became of his character. Ana needed to stand on her own. She needed to take charge of her life, but I was so glad that she allowed Grant to help her… I loved this book. There is so much I need to say, but spoilers… Grant… sigh…
Grant is the strong silent type, as team captain he watches out for the guys but is never really a part of them. Ana has been walking on egg shells for so long she has forgotten how to be happy and herself. This book touches on abuse, healing, determination, being a true friend and falling in love slowly. I could not put this book down, it is so engrossing and intense. I am so glad that Grant got his story and Ana is the perfect compliment to his quiet demeanor.
