Wild, Crazy Hearts is an emotional roller-coaster ride. I loved Brindle and Trace’s story. This is definitely one you don’t want to miss.
This is the book I had been waiting for on pins and needles to release and all I can say is #TEAMTRINDLE ALL THE WAY.
If you’ve met Brindle and Trace in any of the other books in the series – you know how combustible these two together have been. And now that Brindle is back from her time in Paris – she has a surprise for everyone in her family… especially Trace. But as always, things blow up before they even could get started.
I loved the growth of both Brindle and Trace. And let me tell you, Trace will make you swoon over and over again. That boy knows how to ROMANCE!! Brindle made me laugh and also want to hug her so much. Being the baby of the family and also being the free-spirited girl she is, it can play with your self-esteem in big ways. But with Trace’s help and the help of her family and friends, Brindle has come to accept and learn to love in a new way with Trace, in ways that made my heart explode.
Another FABULOUS read from Melissa and I think Trace and Brindle have been my absolute favorite so far.
#TeamTrindle for the Win!!
Trace and Brindle story took on a journey that we having been waiting for since Embracing Her Heart and it was worth the wait. Can time apart really make the heart grow fonder? Everyone in their small town knew these two were meant for each other, but between the fights and trying to make the other jealousy, it took Trace and Brindle a few more years to get there.
Another amazing story by Melissa Foster but I never had any doubt that it was going to be a bad one. Melissa knows by now just how to get her fans to fall in love with any book she writes. You just need a sexy romantic man with a dirty mouth and even dirtier bedroom moves.
Wow, I love this series by Melissa, but this one has just become my favorite! 5 cowboy hats for this one!
Meet Bridle, the baby of the Montgomery family. She’s been dancing around Trace Jericho for most of her life. These two have something that most will never find. They love each other, but as per Brindle, she’s not looking for more, till she takes a trip to Paris, to come to terms with her feelings for Trace, and while there discovers they will be parents. She truly loves him, but words get said, feelings hurt, true Brindle & Trace fashion. Can these two learn to not hurt each other too attain their happily ever after?
This story had me turning the pages, I didn’t want to put it down! Grab this one now!
I don’t think I have ever read about two more wild and stubborn people who loved to get into mischief! They both want their independence–or do they? Brindle took off to Paris to figure out what she really wanted–and found out she was pregnant. Home again and lied to her on again off again boyfriend and her family. Trace. said boyfriend was understandably upset when she told him that the baby was not his. He had always loved Brindle but knew better then to rush her into anything!
Eventually Brindle realizes that she has to tell him and her family the truth about just who the baby’s father was.
Lots of drama with these two–and lots of Brindle trying to learn about happy relationships from the females in town including her Mom.
I particularly liked the ending—-I think I now know where Brindle got her temperament!!
I just love that Melissa can continue this series in multiple sub-series that all intertwine and keep the stories going! Picking up where the last book ends, we find that Brindle is pregnant and feeling unsure of her feelings towards Trace after their longtime relationship and how her life is going to change. After taking a longer than anticipated vacation to sort through everything, she arrives back home ready to talk to the father of the baby, Trace. What she doesn’t expect is that he assumes and accuses Brindle of being pregnant with someone else’s baby, taking all those feelings she sorted through moot point. The bulk of the book’s storyline is the two sorting through their feelings while also preparing for the birth of their child. Overall it was a really cute book, especially finally seeing the two of them end up together and happy after the back and forth for so long! Love this series, love this author and can’t wait for the next installment!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Wow! Trace and Brindle have always been steamy and you would expect their story to be hot and Ms. Foster certainly didn’t disappoint getting them to their HEA. This group is always good for laughs and some serious watery eye moments! I always enjoy the way they bond together to get through tough spots, have each others backs but also tell it like it is. The way Brindle’s sisters help her and then help Trace and at the same time his brothers help him or secretly work with Brindle to surprise Trace are great. The support of the families and the entire town as they work through their relationship to finally get together forever is very awesome. A definite page turner as you have to see what happens next with these two! I read an ARC and am voluntarily leaving my review.
Wow! What a great story! Brindle and Trace have been like oil and water for so many years. They fight as passionately as they love! They are on again and then they’re off again!!
Brindle is the youngest of seven kids, so the others made a path for her! She pretty much does what she wants. She decides to take off to Paris for a bit and while she’s over there she discovers she’s pregnant. She has so much mentally to work through and extends her stay. Once she returns it’s discovered she’s pregnant and she lets everyone believe she met someone in Paris and he is the father. Trace is like a mad man, he loves her so much and is so upset she could sleep with someone else so quickly. He’s such a good guy he decides helping her is better than being her enemy. So, he steps up to help her. Little does he know she’s been deceiving him. What will be his reaction when he learns who the father really is?
I loved this book so much! Brindle is such a strong, opinionated character! She doesn’t take anything from anyone! Trace is such a great guy! I absolutely loved the reason he calls Brindle “Mustang”!
Wow what a great book. I am so glad this story was a explosive and wonderful, I don’t think any thing else would have done Trace and Brindle justice. Trace is a wild Jerico who is dominate, loving and hot and loves hard. Brindle and Trace both had a lot of growing up to do in order to get to place they needed to be to take on the responsibility of a baby. You can’t help falling in love with all the characters in this story, they are loving and very supportive of Trace and Brindle. This adds another great story to Melissa long list of great one.
Brindle and Trace. What a story and one I couldn’t put down from the second I opened it. These 2 have a relationship…sort of.. brindle takes her self to France to explore and finds out a few things while there, Trace is home pacing like mad til.she returns and their fun can continue. When she does it’s not worth out a bump!! Brindle makes a decision that not ok only effects her but Trace aswell. To find there way back to each other they have to face facts and grow up a little. This is a fantastic read.
You can never miss with a Melissa Foster book and this one is definitely no exception!!! I can’t wait for more!!!!
Wow!
I’ve been waiting for this book for a long time and it did not disappoint! Trace & Brindle are combustible when they are together!
This story has so many things: first (and only) love; stubbornness, angst, lack of communication, happily ever after.
Trace & Brindle have to tread carefully and learn that above all, to make any relationship work, you must have trust and communication.
I love that Ms. Foster makes her stories seem so real; even though they are romance fiction, she includes so much real world things that happen in every day relationships.
Wild, Crazy Hearts (The Bradens & The Montgomerys: Pleasant Hills- Oak Hills #4) by Melissa Foster is Brindle Montgomery’s story. She had gone to Paris on a vacation where she learned she was pregnant by her on again off again sex partner Trace. Their relationship is hard to define. They do not go by boyfriend and girlfriend even though they have been together since teenagers. They definitely care for each other. When Brindle returns home and shows up at a gathering at Trace’s family home where everyone is in attendance she is floored when she sees Trace and he insinuates she got pregnant in Paris. This is where one lie turns not only her and Trace’s life upside down but the whole town. Their journey to each other was not only emotional but funny and of course sexy as hell. These 2 have had their share of problems. They do love each other but have issues to work through. Another enjoyable journey of love I was taken on by this author. This author writes love like no other. Once again my emotions where strummed in the song of a love I could only hope for. Loved the ending. Real love. 4.5 stars.
I absolutely love these Oak Falls stories. Trace and Brindle embrace the title of lovers/fighters. They fight and then fall apart and find their way back together. When Brindle runs away to Paris to find out who she is and what her feelings for Trace might be when he isn’t around, she finds out she is pregnant. And that’s where the story begins. Can they learn to love each other and stick around and fight for what they really want without pushing the other away? Because the love is already there. And this story is about discovering who they are together and how they will embrace each other fully and add to their relationship when they bring a baby in to the mix. Wonderful!
When the mustang takes the cowboy for the ride of his life !
The only person that could understand Brindle and complete her could only be her hot, passionate cowboy.
Brindle and Trace have been an item for so long without even realizing it that when life takes them for a wild ride they are blown away. Loved Brindle’s untamed character and fell for both of them. It’s a really crazy wild love story and as usual Melissa finds a way to surprise her readers! I was cheering for #teamtrindle all the way even thou I would have smack them both a couple of times! A non-commitment relationship that hides a long lasting love affair packed with tons of raw emotions. If you’re looking for an exciting story you’ll be served; nothing is ever boring with the Love in Bloom series !
I’m sooo ready for the next Montgomery sister; bring it on !
GAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! It was everything I was hoping it would be and SO MUCH MORE! If you read TRAILS OF LOVE, you know Melissa gave us QUITE the shocker at the end of the book, and I was WAITING ever so patiently (NOT) for Brindle and Trace’s story, WILD, CRAZY HEARTS. Well, it’s official, my HEART IS GOING WILD! I will not give anything away, BUT, I will say that I laughed, I cried (a lot), my heart ACHED for these two on-again, off-again lovers and I LOVED getting to watch them grow! THIS BOOK WAS EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!
I’ve been waiting to see what was next for Brindle Montgomery and Trace Jericho and this book did not disappoint. It was hard at times to see the way these two were treating each other but it was a serious matter and emotions were all over the place. There was a time or two I wanted to have a chat with Trace. I’m glad that they finally had the discussion and Trace found out the truth and they both decided to take the next step and actually date. I loved everything about this book from the disagreements to the two of them making an effort and finally coming out the other side in a better place than they started. I really liked how Brindle’s parents were so supportive from the get go and how everyone rallied around them. When the hashtags came out, nothing could have been better for this couple and the turkey trot with the gender reveal, perfection! I am so glad that these two finally came together and I am so excited to see what comes next for them. There was a line in this book I thought was great, “It’s fate! You and Trace have annoyed the universe into taking steps beyond your control.” #TeamTrindle
Wild, Crazy Hearts is entertaining, fun, sexy, and all heart. Brindle and Trace have been best friends forever and both are passionate and stubborn which is how they ended up in an on-again off-again relationship. They have amazing chemistry and know each inside and out, but they can’t move forward. It all changes when Brindle comes back from a trip to France and pregnant. The baby forces them to change their thinking, habits, and priorities when it comes to their relationship. Melissa Foster definitely shows another side to the wild and free-spirited Brindle and her alpha cowboy. Great character development, humor, family, friendships, surprises, and an over-involved small town make for a great read.
4.5 stars
Book 4 of this series is about Brindle and Trace. Brindle is the definition of a free spirit. When Brindle went to Paris to get away no one thought anything of it, until she extends her stay and comes back pregnant. Needless to say everyone was shocked! What was more shocking was that Brindle told her family and Trace, her off/on boyfriend that the baby wasn’t his. Well I guess that’s what happens when you accuse the woman you were in love with of sleeping with anyone.
Trace though shocked about the pregnancy and upset that the baby wasn’t his, got over his anger and sadness and remembered that he and Brindle were always best friends and that he wanted to be with Brindle every step of the way even though Brindle told him the baby wasn’t his.
Trace is what men should aspire to be. Trace has known he’s wanted Brindle since they were kids. He is strong, knows what he wants and goes after it.
Trace and Brindle lack communication with each other but work through it. Melissa has a way of making her characters human and relatable. Love them!
Every time I read a book by Melissa Foster I love it and never want to put it down. She always has the best blend of heart, steam and laughter in each book. I have not read any of the other books in this series but as she always says you can read her books as a stand alone. I was able to just jump right into the book and not feel like I was lost reading it. I fell in love with Brin and Trace. They are such the perfect couple and I love how they grew up in this book. I mean that they finally decided to act like adults and work things out as adults and not teenagers. I can’t wait for more books from Melissa.
