“The story flows so seamlessly that readers will dread putting the book down and will be disappointed when it finally ends.” –RT Book Reviews, Five Star Gold review The Men of Haven: fierce passion, unyielding loyalty. Especially when it comes to their women. Zeke Dugan is not a man who walks the straight and narrow. He may have sworn an oath as a trauma doc, but he has zero problem … a trauma doc, but he has zero problem leveraging his medical skills outside a hospital if it means giving the Brotherhood–the group of men he calls family–an advantage. Blood before business. All that changes when shy Gabrielle stumbles into his life and ignites his protective instincts.
Mechanic Gabrielle Parker prefers the complexities of an engine over men. Her life wasn’t always quiet and well-ordered, but now that it is, she finds peace in the solitude. When a robbery in her neighborhood forces her out of her safe bubble, she never fathoms that a dangerous, cocky trauma doctor will fix more than her injuries.
Zeke doesn’t play by the rules that Gabrielle follows but knows that he’s exactly what she needs in her life. He’ll show her the fierce and uncompromising protection that comes from belonging to a man like him.
When tension outside the Brotherhood threatens Gabrielle, Zeke will do anything to keep her safe, and damn the consequences. No one will hurt his woman, even if it means putting the very men who saved his life at risk.

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads, so here is my review.
The Haven Brotherhood saved Zeke Dugan from going in the wrong direction in his life 10 years ago. After meeting Danny Parker, he wants to help Danny in the same way and bring him into the brotherhood. Being a trauma doctor, Zeke needs something to help with the nerves and to calm him down. He would do a lot of things that others would call risky but to Zeke it was his way to deal.
When Danny got a call from his sister, Gabrielle, telling him she had been attacked, the doctor in Zeke kicked in and he needed to check her out and make sure she was OK. When they arrived at Danny and Gabe’s house, she was refusing help from the EMT’s and Zeke’s heart skipped a beat. At first he thought it was just attraction but as he got to know her, it became so much more.
Gabe is someone who doesn’t meet people easily. Everything and everyone new scares her, change scares her. Her past is what has shaped her into the person she is today and because of that, she knows that at some point everyone leaves.
Meeting Zeke and the brothers has her scared that Danny will leave her too. Can she trust Zeke at his word? Will the Brotherhood be there to protect her and Danny when they need them most? Can she let Zeke in and learn to love? Will Zeke have enough patience to help Gabe through her fears?
I loved the first book and this one was even better. You can’t help but fall in love with Zeke & Gabe. I can’t wait for the next book in this series.

Loved it
I enjoyed the first one by this author, but this was a miss for me in my opinion. Took away 2 stars because it was exhausting reading the whole book until almost the very end how Zeke did everything possible for her, to her, with her to gain Gabe’s love and trust. I mean, really, I thought relationships were with 2 people not 1 doing all the work. I wanted Zeke to friend zone her and find a strong woman for himself, not a girl, yes girl, who is still has issues from high school. I think I’ll pass on the rest of the series, if it continues to be the guys working to an extreme while the girl sits back and lets everything else take precedence.
Sweet, sweet S W E E T read…with a whole lot of Wild 😉
I loved the first book in the series and could not wait to read the second AND now I can’t wait to read the third…wonder just how long I will have to wait? There were two then eventually six and by the end of this book seven men in the Haven Brotherhood. What is the Brotherhood? It is a group of men who have chosen one another to be brothers of the heart – not necessarily of the blood. They are there for one another no matter what. If there is a problem – they will find a solution. If the solution is within the gray area of legality – they still just might go there BUT they never hurt innocents and anyone claimed by a brother will be protected. I love the premise, the brothers and so far both of the books.
Haven brother Dr. Zeke Dugan, Emergency Room medical doctor and adrenaline junkie has just come off a shift when his friend Danny’s sister calls – there is a problem – she has been hurt. Danny, Zeke and a few of the brothers head off to see what is what. Gabrielle Parker is leery of strangers and has quite a few questions after having her injury treated. Well, questions are and are not easy to answer and she is not the only one doing some questioning. Zeke has been poleaxed by this latest meet-up with Gabrielle. It takes him a bit of time to come to terms with his feelings but then he is all in and the story takes off with activities, dates, meeting of brotherhood members and more. Add into the plot some nefarious and deadly characters, and things get a wee bit tense for a chapter or so. By the end all is well, a new brother has been added and a woman has been claimed. I am EAGER to see which man finds his woman next! I kind of wonder if Gabrielle’s new friend might end up with one of the guys or if she was just there to become a friend of Gabrielle’s.
Did I like the book? Yes
Will you like the book? I definitely think you will
How was Zeke as a book boyfriend? Dreamy
What did I think of Gabrielle? She was unique, a fighter and willing to grow
Do I want to read more in the series? No doubt about it – I do indeed
Thank you to NetGalleyl and Carina Press for the ARC. This is my honest review.
The entire Men of Haven series is freaking awesome, but I have to admit, I’m #TeamZeke.
***5 ‘Untamed and Beautifully Innocent’ Stars***
I loved Rough & Tumble (Book 1 in the series), the romance was smexy as hell and I the need to get to know the men of the Brotherhood and those they call their own better had me wanting to dive into Wild & Sweet sooner rather than later and I wasn’t disappointed. The romance was just as smexy, but with a touch of sweet that had me swooning and the need to sidle up to the brothers and find out just what makes them tick has been kicked up exponentially.
Zeke’s life could have gone in a very different direction had it not been for Jace and Axel’s interference and subsequent offer of joining Haven and has never looked backed. This man is all kinds smexy, determined, cocky alpha male without the asshattery, has the patience of a saint an iron clad code of honor and a compassionate heart which makes him all kinds of swoon worthy – panty melting goodness.
The trauma and fallout from a situation that occurred when Gabrielle, aka Gabe, was a young girl has sent her on a path where she has constructed walls so high that not only keep people out, but has trapped her inside her own tumultuous head. It’s funny, normally I’d be at my wits end with a character like Gabe no matter the events of that character’s past, horrible to admit, but true regardless, but that wasn’t the case here. I had my fair share of frustration with her where I wanted to Gibbs smack her, but despite her issues she is a sweet woman with a heart of gold that’s a bit bruised but not broken who does want to live, but doesn’t trust herself to let go. Her journey was a large part of what held my interest throughout the book and I really like where she was at in the end.
While there is insta attraction between Zeke and Gabe, their road to their HEA is a slow, sweet one with a lot of smexyness woven into it. The bumps in it aren’t surprising given Gabe’s frame of mind, but I loved how the were worked through with Zeke leading the way. His patience and honesty brought out Gabe’s true nature which in turn actually gave him an anchor that he never knew he needed. Their interactions were a bit awkward to start, but I loved how they grew more comfortable with each other in every way and though they do have a blowout, the end result brings them to a solid starting point for both of them and how they want their futures to be intertwined.
As always, the writing was engaging and the 3rd person POV was done very well. My one issue comes with the pacing and more specifically with the suspense aspect of the story. I loved that it didn’t overtake Zeke and Gabe’s budding relationship, that it was a true secondary storyline, but even though I figure things out long before the ending, I do wish it had been a little more present in the story. It took awhile to finally get to that moment where the pieces come together and then the resolution was, not rushed, but quick in the big scheme of things. It’s not a bad thing, I just wish we’d gotten a little more out of it. I loved getting to know Danny better and I’m really hoping we see more of April as the series progresses. As for the rest of the brothers and their family, I loved spending more time with them and wish I could be apart of their family. Axel is still my fav, but Knox is a very, very close second with Beckett not far behind, though after one particular scene Trevor is very much on my radar, so bring on Claim & Protect!

I’m not a big fan of MC books, but man..Rhenna Morgan has written an enticing group of devilishly sexy, attractively intelligent and uber protective guys I’ve fallen in love with! I devoured WILD AND SWEET in one sitting it was soooo good! The story was a scrumptious mix of sexy and sweet with a unique heroine, strong hero, and a delicious band of brothers who were positively drool-worthy! Definitely recommend reading<3
Super fan of the Eden Series and now joining the band wagon for this well written series and characters!! Morgan does steamy so very well!! On to Book 3!!
I love this book. Still miss the characters
Very enjoyable book.
Excellent read
OMG I have a new favorite series. Contemporary Romance is not my typical read or one I fall for, but WOW have the Haven Boys hooked me.
After finishing book one, Rough & Tumble, I new I was going to continue the series. I went out and bought book two, Wild & Sweet. I couldn’t resist buying. And, so after finished book two, I bought three, Claim & Protect. Do you see what’s happening? Ms. Morgan has acquired a fan and one who will be complete the collection for the Haven Brotherhood series as they come out. Now let’s get to the novel.
Zeke, oh my darling doctor. He is so sweet, understand, and patient with Gabrielle. It was so endearing to see how wonderful he was with Gabe. I loved that he has a plan. How he takes his time, notices when she’s having trouble in certain environments and situations, and then he helps to make it easier for her.
Gabrielle is the adorable in a tomboy/girl next door way. She’s got some issues and one is anxiety. It’s affect her life in a big way. I like how the author incorporated this issue into her character and how it was talked about. Haveing anxiety is tough and many people can relate, so when Zeke shows up and doesn’t give up on her, but helps. It truly is sensational and will melt your heart.
Their romances was so wonderful. Little by little Zeke breaks her down and helps Gabe to blossom and in the process Zeke finds the calm and quiet he’s been searching for.
Besides the romance we have a little action suspense when things in Danny and Gabe’s neighborhood start to happen.
This novel is swoon worthy. It’s emotional, captivating, and heartfelt. I highly recommend picking up this series.
