WidowIf I didn’t love her, I would kill her. I’d kill her for so much, but mostly for hiding my kid from me. For up and running, and choosing to keep my daughter out of my life. She doesn’t just belong to Melody. She’s mine too, and Melody doesn’t get to keep her to herself. She said she ran because of me, because of what I did.I can’t blame her for that.I fucked up and I might have lost the most … up and I might have lost the most important woman in my life, but I refuse to lose my daughter. Not when we haven’t even had a chance.
Will fighting for my daughter lead me to winning back my girl’s heart? I loved her for years and I always will. The only thing is, Melody doesn’t exist anymore.
Only Rebel Rose does, and she’s nothing like I expect.

Widow” is a game-changer. It didn’t end the way I initially thought it would, but then sometimes, neither does life. I know Widow is more complex than what we’ve seen up to this point and I’m sure his story isn’t over yet but only time will tell. I hope Elizabeth gives us another avenue to follow with these terrific characters.
This was a good read. I thoroughly enjoyed the storyline and warmed to the characters easily.
WOW!
I LOVED THIS BOOK! Widow is a growly smokin hot bad@ss alpha biker. He claims he did something bad and lost the woman he loved but ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! What a cheating bastard! It’s bad enough to cheat but to cheat with your girls best friend? WTF?!! But to only blame him and not Amaze isn’t gonna fly either. I have to say I didn’t like Amanda’s character. She is hard and even though there is alittle softness in her she doesn’t seem to own her part she played in hurting Melody/Rebel. When Rebel sees her in the grocery store I was so happy she stood up for herself and told Amara what she thought of her. I don’t understand how someone can claim someone as a best friend and do what she did. When Melody came home and found them together you can almost feel her pain coming off the pages, it was heartbreaking. I love the strong woman she became. When she goes off on her neighbor I was like HELL YEAH!!! I do have to say though, I thought her daughter Zoe is a was kind of a brat, she was mouthy. When Widow finds out about his daughter and confronts Rebel making demands I wish she would have bitch slapped him. I’m still not real sure what her Rebel’s employment was. Lol. Was she an escort and a model? I’m not sure what a social media model is? Now Niko was alittle scary but Oh Lawd! He rocked her world. He may be a big bad@ss but he also had a soft mushy center when it was needed and he definitely loved Rebel. The sex scenes were so smokin hot I almost had to douse myself in ice water. Lol. The addition o the Jackals was a surprise. When Widow meets Sphynx, Holy Crap! Bad boy meets Bad girl? Lol! These two go at it like wild rabbits on steroids. Lol! And on the pool table he pounded her like a jack hammer and she wasn’t the least bit shy about it. The excitement and suspense had me chewing my fingernails. At times Cobra’s character had me chuckling. I hope he gets a book. Elizabeth always leaves these books on a cliffhanger which has me cussing. Lol. The introduction of Demon has me wondering what hell is gonna happen next. My only complaint about these books is the endings seem abrupt to me. Just bam! The End. But I’m lovin this series. I highly recommend this series to everyone.
Widow read 1st -2nd Dec
Some suspense and action in this story. I couldn’t decide if I liked Widow, Amera or Melody to be honest, I don’t think any of them behaved that well to each other either in the past or the present. I found it slightly confusing. The plot was a continuation of the build up for the MC, so that was fairly good and the saving point of the story really. As much as I want to find out the outcome of the battles I just don’t know if I want to invest more in the characters, some in the earlier books had strength and the plots were more gritty but this one had me thinking they needed to grow up. Widow seemed so uninvested in either of the two he had long term relationships with and treated them like crap for the most part and then changed focus out of the blue. I just didn’t find it held my attention that much, though I did love Zoe. This book completes the box set I was reading it as part of so prices on future books possibly define if I continue or not.
This one totally threw me for a loop! I went into this thinking okay, I kinda know where this is going and then Boom! Plot twist!! This one gave me whiplash! And in amongst all that the MC has its own shit to sort out too!!
Widow and Rebel have an unconventional story, that’s for sure. I am a sucker for a second chance romance, and I have to admit I didn’t care for the plot. I know a lot of reviewers have given the story away, but I’m trying not to do that here. This book was more about Widow and Rebel, rather than about the side stories with Tania and Nikolai’s characters. It seemed that there were parts that felt rushed, especially the involvement of Tania. I really love a good gritty romance, but I didn’t get that sense here. It was more about the two main characters trying to get past the pain they caused each other and moving on, so my impression was that this was not so much of a romance story as it was a co-parenting story. Not my favorite of the Reapers MC books.
So there is a happy ever after without the one you lost. I have read a few books this week that everyone ends up back together this one was one of my favorites. I have found another author to be put in my top favorites.
I can’t put into words how much I loved this book. I desperately wanted Rebel and the Widow to get back together for the sake of Zoe. I know they were volatile together but, I was hoping for a second chance reunion. This book was so beautifully written. I can’t wait to read the next book. Elizabeth is fast becoming one of my favorite MC authors.
OH MY GOD! Y’ALL THIS BOOK! Such a unique and different love story, but in the best way! It was a breath of fresh air. Yes, I will tell you right now to ease your questions – it does have an HEA, it’s just not a typical love story. But it is worth it, I promise!
OH AND! NOT TO MENTION, SHE’S A SINGLE MOM! This is my CRACK when it comes to books. If a kid is involved or a pregnancy, I’m all about it!!!
“”You’re beautiful inside and out, but the most beautiful part of you Rebel is the fact you’re a mother.””
I have become obsessed with the Reapers MC gang!!! I have been curious about Widow since he was introduced. I wouldn’t necessarily say he’s my favorite member, but I really enjoyed getting to see his past and who he really is!
“What our enemies don’t realize is that when they hurt one of us, they hurt all of us. We’re like a pack of wolves. One won’t come for you. The entire pack will.”
If y’all have not started this series, you must! I recommend reading Blackjack first and reading in order. This is one of those series that is preferred that you read in order.
Widow is a member of the Reapers MC and was involved in a relationship with Melody until he decided he wasn’t good enough for her and got caught cheating on her with her best friend, Amara.
Melody was shocked to walk in on Widow and Amara together but she decided to fight for herself and she left town pregnant and decided she needed a fresh start.
Now 7 years later fate has brought Widow and Melody back together but they are no longer the same people that they were back then. Melody has become Rebel Rose, who works for Crave, LLC as an escort as well as selling her image. She is a single mom to Zoe who is her whole world.
When Widow discovers that he has a daughter will he make an attempt to get Melody back? Has time let them heal the wounds of the past or are they bound to carry on to the present?
This was such an amazing book for making me flip my opinions so many times!
At the beginning I was so mad at Widow for cheating on Melody/Rebel and I knew he was trying to push her away by hurting her and he definitely did a great job. Then I was mad at Amara for a certain action she did as it really hurt Widow and wasn’t fair to him.
Then I began to really like Widow again and I wanted him to have a chance with Zoe and I found myself mad at Rebel for pushing him away. I felt like no matter what happened in the past that he deserved a chance to get to know his daughter.
Then some things happened with Widow and Rebel with relationships and I found myself mad at both of them for everything that was going on. It didn’t make sense to me in the book what was happening and I was getting super frustrated.
Then suddenly a light went on and I was like OMG – the writer has done something unusual and it was so awesome and worked. It was so realistic and it surprised me from the beginning of the book to the end but I literally jumped for joy in how it ended. I absolutely loved the ending and I didn’t even guess that until a few things happened and everything just fell completely into place.
This type of ending doesn’t happen often but it seriously made me so happy and excited! I can’t wait to see what’s next!! By Rebecca
Ok so this was totally not what or how I thought this book would go… omg it was soooo good!!!
When Rebel (melody) comes home from work only to discover her BF and her BFF in the act… she bolts… only then to discover she is having a baby.. with said BF.. Fast forward several years.. She is back in town… how is Widow going to take it finding out they had a baby and she kept it from him?
This book was so different than others I’ve read.. so was not expecting it to go the way it did..
Wow what amazing read that will have you loving this game changer read. This book is a must read.
this book was amazing! he doesnt do relationships. so he has this woman friend who he has sex with. only something happens and she goes away. come to find out she has a child with him. now he wants to kill her for keeping it a secret. she has really changed. read to find out why.
WOWWWWWW. This story was not AT ALL what I expected, but it was 100% everything I needed. This has got to be one of my favorite books of Elizabeth’s so far! What I really loved is just how complete the story was. We truly got all of our answers about Willow and Rebel/Melody and I loved that!!!
So let’s start with Widow. I was super confused by him in the last book. I couldn’t understand why he cheated, what was up with the weird game with Amara, and we knew next to nothing about him. Everything we knew from Amara at the end of Booger had me SO DAMN CURIOUS. I was really happy to finally get the whole truth in this book. I was also super happy at how Widow treated the situation. Between that, his new “Friend” and seeing him with his daugher, I’m totally loving on Widow lol. I know he’s a bad mamajama, but I could care less hahaha
Now Melody, holy hell did she surprise me!! I LOVE the life she lives now. We had a few really interested curve balls with her and her life too. The best was the man that came into her life. This book is full of twists and turns and surprise characters. I love how that happens, and we got quite a few with Melody. She is such a badass woman and an amazing mom, from the moment she was introduced the book I adored her!
Another big part of the book was the things that were going on with the club and other MC’s. I loved the drama and the combat, it was so good!!! There were also so many things we found about about crazy family connections too. I loved how we got to find more info about Damon, his sister and Widow’s family. I cannot wait to see where she takes this!!! There are so many different directions it can go. I’m going to be waiting on my toes for the next book!!!!
Totally a game changer, this did not turn out how I expected. That being said, this story was more about letting go of the past, moving forward, and growing into something/someone better. I enjoyed every single moment of this book.
Holy hotness, this story blew me away!!
Widow has been apart of the Brotherhood MC for years now and is one of the chosen ones to start a joint chapter in Vegas but of course once there things get a bit… crazy. When he is faced with his past his whole world changes.
Rebel left home a few years ago after finding out she was pregnant and her boyfriend was cheating on her. Years later she runs into not one but two people from her past that hurt her more than anything. Will she be able to trust the one who hurt her the most or will it all backfire in her face??
This story is different from others by Elizabeth Knox and it’s my absolute favorite. Elizabeth has a way of keeping me on the edge of my seat, laughing until my sides hurt and tears threatening to fall. She is definitely a triple threat author and one I look forward to reading a lot more from.
